Sensitivity and quick reaction accompany the
cosmic interplay between Sun, Moon & Earth, intensifies this weekend
with a Gemini Solar Eclipse 20th/21st May (00:47bst on the 21st).
Eclipses mark dramatic shifts, both within one's personal life, and
without, as in the world around. And in Gemini, any change tends to be
fast.
Intellectual Gemini is a dualistic sign that governs communication, thought,
and how the mind perceives. As an Air sign, versatile Gemini has the
ability to go with the flow, ride the wind, and breathe new-life into
old ideas. Breath is also the heart-mind’s all-important vehicle to
Spirit. During an eclipse meditation (which may be emotionally
heightened as Sun and Moon square-up to the current Neptune/Chiron
conjunction) our connection to Spirit is direct and focused; with the
heaven’s advising to guard the Bodhi mind’s treasure and to be aware of
breath as it fills the body with pure prana (universal energy), one is
enabled to swiftly recognise separate realities and pacify any chaotic
thoughts, to calm, protect, and centre the heart-mind dwelling in the
magical mystery of true presence, even in the midst of a continual
change _(♥)_
This solar eclipse begins a lunation which
culminates in a Gemini-Sagittarius lunar eclipse at Saka Dawa, on June
4th, when Tibetans celebrate the birth, death and paranirvana of
Sakyamuni Buddha. Swiftly following the full moon, Venus will transit of
the Sun _(♥)_
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” Buddha
