❂ Dream Healing Wounded Feeling ~ Lunar Eclipse in Pisces Sept '16

KARMA MULTIPLIED day x 7 million! (+or -)

The last eclipse of 2016 is also third in a series of three eclipses, taking place with a Full Moon lunar eclipse this Friday 16th or Saturday 17th, depending upon where you are in the world. At 24° 20′ PISCES, and @19:03 UT, it’s worth noting how this Full Moon penumbral eclipse highlights the visible and the invisible, the real and imagined, with psychic threads connecting heaven to earth. We won’t actually see Luna turn red, instead the Moon will only appear slightly darker (over Europe/Africa); but because it is the Full MOON closest to the season-changing equinox, when geomagnetic activity is already heightened and Earth’s auroras and magnetic fields are stronger, we are cosmically bound to feel a powerful surge of deep emotions which an eclipse in a water sign arouses; these feelings can illuminate and connect the natural beauty of the heart-mind, as well as bring to light the previously hidden or unconscious.

For those who have planets in either the sign of the Fish, Pisces, or the purifying Goddess, Virgo (check your horoscope, especially around 20-28 degrees of the mutable signs (Sag and Gemini included), looking for long-term timing within the coming turning points – because eclipses always present some kind of watershed moment – look back to August 2007 when taking stock of where you are now, examining (during this currently detailed obsessed retrograde Mercury) what kind of conditions are being created for the future in very practical terms; then project forward to September 2024. This is when our next set of Pisces-Virgo eclipses will take place. So instead of now feeling like you have little or no control over what might be in store (which can happen when Piscean energy abounds), this Full Moon also suggests visualisation is instrumental when unlocking the power of the mind, and is the precursor to solidifying long-held dreams. It’s a great time to make a creatively empowering ‘vision board’ and send the message out into the universe of not what ‘stuff’ you want, but how you would like to feel in the future.  This is not to say concretising certain dreams can’t or won’t happen sooner, as they can and will (again, check your scope for timing), or that the journey to fulfilment isn’t more important than the goal, as the only time that really matters is ‘now’. But in a world that naïvely demands instant results, it is sometimes more helpful to think in ways that one can abide happily, all-the-while dedicating towards the realisation of long-term objectives. Remember: it can take lifetimes to achieve enlightenment and that forgiveness and kind-heartedness are the all-important means to awakening awareness, fulfilment and attainment.

A Full Moon in any water sign, Pisces, Scorpio or Cancer, tends to provoke passionate but jumbled-up emotions, complicated relations and crazy situations at the best of times; with energetic emotional imbalance and confinement to a lunatic asylum at worst. With a Lunar eclipse in Pisces, the very last all-consuming sign of the zodiac, sensitivity is deeply imaginative, often overwhelming and sometimes all-too-much that one needs to retreat – which is why, for whatever reason, love, money, despair, people turn to self-medicating with drugs or alcohol to (temporarily and often unsuccessfully) alleviate difficult feelings, such as self-judging moral weakness and the ensuing guilt aggravating already difficult situations with toxic overload. Please try not overindulge these reactions or activities to the point of addiction (which is very Pisces); there are other, safer, life-enhancing ways to forgive (oneself), placate challenging or overwhelming feelings, and reconnect to the inborn goodness that lies within each and every one of us, such as being of helpful service to others, or going inwards to meditate, or even allowing feelings to be magically processed through song, music, dance, yoga or prayer.

Pisces easily senses what others are doing through its ability to tap into the unsaid by reading between the lines. A simple brushstroke on a painting, a note within a tune, a swish of fabric or a glance or look can often tell Pisces everything it needs to know; for the sign of the Fish most situations are often felt on an intensely psychic level before any actual manifestation takes place. In the reflective light of this Full Moon, I cannot emphasise enough how the importance of working with our intuition is currently heightened (especially now, with the exact third and final Saturn-Neptune Square in conjunction with the Full Moon, when an irresistible force meets immoveable object).

Pisces also helps us to release into the void feelings that prevent us from moving on with a happy heart. Even if it means making a sacrifice for the great good of the whole, this Full Moon can even help realise how we play unconscious power games of victim or martyr, wanting to be either the saviour or be saved, as sinner or saint. There are, however, different expressions of wanting to make the world, our world, a better place. We can work on a very practical level, for instance, with unseen bio-energy, by understanding the living biofield, with its interacting, pulsing electro-magnetism, can actually have a huge impact upon our everyday lives, enabling the creation of the changes we want to see.

The presently exalted Mercury, retrograde in Virgo, asks us to be practical about our innate sensitivity to our personal and interpersonal environment (and continues to implore that we remain level-headed (especially with invisible energy) until the end of the separating shadow period, Oct 6th); it’s those strange, funny feelings in our bones or waters, or sensations in the pit of our stomach that now also clamour to be acknowledged, listened to and dealt with in a very practical manner, i.e. with benevolence, working towards the greater good of all (not just humans, or those we personally know, but for all beings, seen and unseen).

As the Moon now begins to connect to the South Node (aka Ketu, or the Dragon’s tail) many will tune into the collective undercurrent, with all its infectious hysteria.  If you find yourself ‘picking-up’ subconscious but overwhelming emotions, which when analysed you sense are not yours (or even if they are) know they too will pass. Instances of ‘Deja vu’ are almost bound to slip through the rip in the fabric of space-time this lunar eclipse presents, so that feeling of ‘already experienced’ could even be a past-life connection; the trick is to reflect and try to remember what happens next, in order to direct life more lucidly.

While this is a Moon phase when one could be easily swept away by the oceanic, hopefully by a song and dance, sound or gesture, there are other important celestial factors to consider: because this Pisces Moon is also with its’ divinely inspired ruler Neptune, associated by a wide orb of 14 degrees; Luna is closer to the witnessing wounded-healer, Shamanic Chiron, which is at 22° degrees.  Putting these astrological pointers together, and coming from the global perspective, one might say this Lunar eclipse highlights a need to observe the underlying deep disturbance coming to light which concerns the element of water; and from a personal level, this will affect emotions which flow through the body. It is rather fitting that all over the world people are now realising the importance of clean water (during the Virgo-Pisces axis); not just for physical health, but also how such purity resonates with the clarity of our own feelings; as the human body is made up of anything from 65-90% water, helping ourselves to be less complicated or polluted by disturbing emotions means that we are also able to of greater affect in the world.

From an Esoteric astrological point of view, in the run-up to the Full Moon, and indeed even the Lunar Eclipse itself, we are also blessed by the starry auspices of ‘Ursa Major’, a fabulous star system that navigates our Northern Pole Star. Ursa Major is also known as the ‘Great Bear’, the ‘Big Dipper’, or the ‘Saucepan’, as it changes from being a container that holds to one that pours with the seasons.  Now it is the container. The seven stars which make up the Great Bear constellation are also known as Rishis, or seven sages (according to Vedic and Tibetan astrology); these seven stars also relate to the seven rays, and the seven main chakras, as well as seven colours, traditional planets, musical notes, major organs in the body, and days of the week. As such, right now there is a connection to the magical number 7 that represent spirit dissolving into matter. This time of collecting and blessing water magnifies the positivity of ‘good stars’ (Sun & Mercury trine transformational Pluto (esoteric ruler of Pisces)), as the water is instilled with magical healing properties that could even help to unblock, pacify or activate chakras, and align the light-body, so that every action is one of goodness, every thought beneficial and every word spoken is constructive and helpful.

Astral tip: The Virgo-Pisces axis also activates our innate LOVE-WISDOM. So even if being saintly is way out of reach (keep working on it ;)), this full Moon is an optimum time to tune into dreams and take note of all messages of the night, as the crystalline light of the phantasmagorical Pisces moonbeams reveal a previously hidden Divinity that emanates universal love.

New Leo Moon ♥ • • •( ( (☾ ◯☽) ) )• • • ♥ August 2013

Majestic Leo is ruled by the life-giving Sun, which is central to the cross-quarter marker for the height of this season. Now, as the golden Sun radiates warmth through the light of the soul, we observe the ‘Fixed’ Solar Fire festival accenting the glowing Heart of the Leo Sun, a time of joyful relaxation and abundance, when summer's first grains ripen in the northern hemisphere, and days lengthen in the south. At the same time, a New Moon at 14 degrees of fiery Leo, on Tuesday, 6th August at 22:50bst kindles Leo’s sacred flame of unconditional love-light.

Compounding the light blessings, the commanding Leo Sun and Moon are currently with asteroid Vesta, Fire Goddess of hearth and home, who purifies and tends the sacred flame with unfailing devotion. All three are currently in a challenging aspect to the karmic Dragon’s head and tail. This mythical meeting of Dragon and Lion suggests we’re at a potentially enlightening turning point, one that could avoid burn-out and bring about practical earthy healing to a specific heart-felt cause; by shining the Leo Love-Light into the deepest recesses of our (collective) psyche we can now clearly see what needs to be powerfully transformed in order to safeguard the heart-mind, and shared resources.

\_ From the Buddhist perspective, both Lion and Dragon are symbolically important iconography. Like Leo, the dragon is a creature of great creative power, with positive yang dynamism, whilst the regal Lion is dignified and loving, playful and cheerful. Bodhisattvas, beings who attain a high level of spiritual development, are often called ‘Buddha’s Lions’; and Buddha’s teachings ‘the Lions’ Roar’. As such, Lions are also royal dharma protectors, found at the entrance to many temples, often holding up thrones for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, indicating formidable strength and competence.

☼☽ So while this New Leo Moon provides the will to exercise wisdom that protects a faithful heart and advances the creative spirit with generosity and love, remember there is also room for a sprinkling of inscrutable Dragon magic to enhance these rare moments of the influential six-pointed star of the Grand Sextile, flowing in and out of perfection throughout this month of August. ☼☽¸¸.•*¨*•☆

"Let your love flow outward through the universe,
To its height, its depth, its broad extent,
A limitless love, without hatred or enmity.
Then as you stand or walk,
Sit or lie down,
As long as you are awake,
Strive for this with a one-pointed mind;
Your life will bring heaven to earth".

Initiating Life Divine ☾ ☼ ☽ Capricorn New Year Solar Eclipse

A Solar eclipse in Capricorn is about giving form to the spiritual objective; tomorrow morning there is a small and narrow stargate for Earth to connect to the void, when the gates of karma open; and our meditation is to invite the (internal) deity into our life Divine.

Now the moon has passed the point of lunar eclipse, already in Capricorn, we are in a dark moon phase; the responsibility of what lies ahead could seem overwhelming. Don't Worry. Formulate a plan (and allow a year or so materialise) to remain mindful in the present ♥
Karma is also multiplied 100000X

So here we go: 2011! Wow! In with an astro bang! Tuesday the 4th January, 9:03gmt (time zones), at 13Capricorn ♑ , a Solar Eclipse  stats a new moon lunation, potent with the ability to transform everything that we’d like to be praised and recognised for the work we have achieved. Planet Earth is also perihelion the Sun during this eclipse, so Spirit and Form are cosmically close. At the same time a shower of meteors, the Quadrantids, herald from just below the Big Dipper!

A year that starts with a Solar eclipse, with the North Node also called Rahu, or 'dragon's head', accompanied by strategic Pallas Athena and fiery Mars in earthy Capricorn, suggests there is no time to lose, that we initiate, take action, and make a plan to stabilise so that we have a point to move from.  Personally I would wait until the effects of the eclipse have waned a little, and wait a day before charging headlong into anything - as it might take a day or so to calm down after any potential Sun-Moon-Mars flare up.

So it’s not just because its winter that we also need to boost the immune system, be that physically, psychologically and psychically, with a very real and practical approach. The Warrior Queen Pallas Athena is our asteroid associated with health, healing, and regeneration, alchemically being able to transform with her serpent wisdom (Kundalini). And while she is currently companion to the Sun and Mars, its time to heavy-up on the anti-oxidents and look after ourselves.

There is another astrological reason for Tuesday being important, due it marking the last and final exact conjunction of the three hits of Jupiter and Uranus. This visionary and expansive conjunction started off with Jupiter conjunct Uranus in June at 0Aries; then around Autumn Equinox last September, when retrograde, they formed another conjunction, in Pisces; this last union, also in the sign of the fish, magnifies uncontrollable flow (of highly charged emotion), change and sudden storms; this can happen individually, as well as in the collective. In Pisces, a mutable water sign, it’s a signal we are possibly feeling overwhelmed by outside forces, feeling swept along with the tide.  How one steering through this last conjunction, which has a sphere of influence all the way until the end of February, will depend of course, where this conjunction lies in the chart.

Water, however, continues to be a major theme this year, with both Chiron and Neptune to enter in oceanic Pisces in April (which I will go in-depth at a later date.).  Suffice to say we only have to look at how the element Water is a feature of our era: We have Jupiter and Uranus, plus healing Chiron in conjunction with the sea-ruling Neptune in the late degrees of Aquarius, emphasising the entire planet’s water (especially since Uranus and Neptune have been in a sometimes mutual relationship these past 23+ years). With an area the size of Germany & France under water in Queensland, Australia, as well as recent floods in China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Europe, plus the tragic Deepwater incident in the Gulf of Mexico, one quickly understands how the water element is subject to tremendous import, as indicated by these planetary configurations (compounded by the movement of both Chiron and Neptune into Pisces this year).  Water within our body is akin to our emotions; we are made up of 70% water; and our emotions ride the internal waves. When looking at the way the world’s seas, oceans and rivers are behaving, we could also say our own collective emotion is also out-of-whack.  Yet all is not lost, while water cleanses, heals, purifies, Pisces and Neptune are also signs of forgiveness and compassion. This doesn’t mean that we can carry on polluting as we have been, but it does mean we can see the ignorance of humanity’s ways, being able to forgive, then get on with the Spiritual work of World Service: healing, detoxifying, energising the light. Which may well be what this eclipse is all about: initiating a world of spiritual and emotional awareness, so we can absolve ourselves and others (past and present), and concentrate upon a healthier future.

Having discussed the watery Jupiter-Uranus, this actual eclipse is in solid and earthy Capricorn, which is also about being practical, taking personal responsibility to stabilise emotions - and thoughts, as well as places, business and traditional government.  But because eclipses are pivotal turning points, these powerful earthy eclipses shake us up, bringing the shadow into stark focus. It’s good to remember that underneath the Capricorn Mountain Goat’s sturdiness, a sign of movement into future ventures which require self-discipline, dedication and support, Capricorn also has a scaled fish tail, indicating deep spirituality combined with an intrinsic awareness of the karmic law of cause and effect, which can be used for better or worse.

Capricorn is a no nonsense sign that, like most Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer and Libra) enjoys the spotlight, as it marks the end of darkness and the entrance of the New Light King. These next few days could thus bring about dramatic endings and new light-filled beginnings.  No matter what is happening, at work, at home, on the road, it’s good to stabilise an eclipse moment with Shamatha meditation (calm abiding and watching the breath) before entering into any Kundalini or Chakra work. Those inexperienced with chakra work please do not experiment during an eclipse. Instead rest in your breathing, and allow this time to be an initiation into Spirit.

Bare in mind that the Full Moon on the 19th Jan is 29 Cancer (the 4th Full Moon at an Anaretic degree) is the culmination of this eclipse lunation.  Earthy Capricorn and watery Cancer are form and formlessness, and THE signs linked to the Sun and the Moon channels in the body, Ida and Pingala – as well as being the signs that urge souls to incarnate or even, after many incarnations, reach the point of crystalization.  This, therefore, is a time when Spirit can pass through both doors, and is why all the great masters emphasis the need for protection.

I’ve written quite extensively about the way an eclipse functions in the psycho-anatomical-subtle body, so I’ve changed the time-scale of popular posts on the side-bar of the blog; I suggest you read any article with the word ‘eclipse’ in it to get a better handle on how to breathe and meditate through and with this powerful trinity of Sun, Moon and  Earth, spirit, soul and form – light, dark and shadow - Particularly this from our last Solar Eclipse.

The next eclipse, in six months time, will be a set of three (which happens every few years). This will be a summer solstice lunar eclipse on June 15th, related to this winter’s solstice lunar eclipse, when so many planets aligned with the Milky Way’s Galactic Centre. In summer, it will be the Moon at 24 Sagittarius which aligns our emotional centre to the heart of the Galaxy, connecting our heart to the crown chakra.

So stay blessed, dear friend. I’ll be with you in spirit, connecting to the light grid from the wilds of the countryside, before heading back to dear old hometown London, from where the next blog will be posted. ♥
