☼ ✶☽ ~> Last Quarter Tara Moon & The Grand Sextile

Anchoring the flower-of-life perfection to this summer’s ‘Grand Sextile’ is an exalted Moon, in practical and stabilizing Taurus. In her last quarter phase, this sensitive and unpretentious Moon is assigned the liberating qualities of the Great Mother Goddess, Tara. With the strength and magic of today’s six-pointed Sacred Star, the double Tetradhedron formed between Water & Earth Triangles, this transcendental stargate maintains internal balance, aligned in hexagonal harmony with heaven and Earth. Now is the time to awaken the Divine Feminine (within), and open the heart chakra to love, kindness and peace.

The ancient Sanskrit word for the heart chakra, ‘Anahata’, means ‘to come unstuck’, as the heart releases electromagnetism that flows through and around the body and aura – energy that connects internal meridians within mind-body and spirit, as well as externally, interacting with each other. An open heart-mind raises self-esteem, and supports unconditional love and compassion, promoting a powerful spiritual healing that the abundantly restorative vibration of the Green Tara now quickly invokes. Today’s sacred geometry suggests this is indeed a very special last quarter moon ~> Give Love. Receive Love. Be Love.

✶ Grand Sextile _/✶\_ Sacred Geometry ▼ ▲ July 29th 2013

Loaded with creative tension and opposition, the Grand Sextile - even one as blissfully mystic with a Water Trine interlocked with the stabilizing Earth Trine - can sometimes feel powerful and impenetrable, as though we are dealing with a Cosmic Sheriff, wearing an authoritative shiny star. While some ‘hold the star’s light’, others may even sense this planetary pattern patrolling or blocking the flow (of emotion, love, money, dreams) as though there is no way out, particularly when dealing with the simultaneous trickier aspects also happening (dynamic Mars opposition controlling Pluto, for instance, or Spirit Sun square karmic Saturn). Yet take heart, there is a slight gap in this weekend’s dramatic six-pointed Seal of Solomon (aka Star of David, or Metatron), where one can slip through to calmly observe what is happening (within), and without fear.

This heavenly portal to objectivity currently operates between the destiny-fulfilling North Node and Saturn, which means that by taking personal charge for one’s own action (karma), we enable access to our own inner, moral authority. Even so, that may seem like a challenge, as current forces can seem so muddy, lacking clarity or fairness – particularly with issues that relate to ‘the end of matters’, investments and shared enterprises – personal and/or professional. But the Saturn-North-Node connection (which gets stronger over the coming months) urges one to now practice discipline and mindfulness and develop intuitive insight.

While internal and external change takes place in our lives, it is how we react that makes all the difference to a situation being something which expands the spiritual heart-mind. In the words of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, “real change happens in the heart”. For when we accept the responsibility to change the way we look at things, the things we look at also change. Thus we self-empower to do what is ethically right by all beings, with a tender concern.

✶ Grand Water trine ~ July 2013

▼ Now the summer’s 'Grand Earth Trine' begins to stabilize the ‘Grand Sextile’, as the elements Earth and Water highlight the management of resources and material ambition, as well as clarifying the flow of deep and powerful emotion.

▼ At the same time a second Grand Water Trine also begins its long-lasting constellation (until mid-September), with development between the magical Piscean Shaman, Chiron, aspecting our destiny-fulfilling North Node, presently in Scorpio; together they form a powerful triangle with a brief conjunction between Mercury & Mars, in Cancer. While this 'Grand Water Trine’s' latter two planets encourage a stream of care and active communication, the basis of the Water triangle is firmly upon renewing resources that purify obscuration and generate spiritual healing. Insight into and about previously untapped realms requires constant compassion.

Warrior Mars is weak at the moment, in its position of fall, and with fleet-footed Mercury, is often depicted as rushing and careless, where speed can become a form of aggression (which we saw yesterday (July 25th) with dangerous consequences and the train crash at Saintiago de Compostelle, one of Europe's most important places of Christian pilgrimage). Best learn the lesson: proceed with caution, tread lightly and leave a small footprint; and still aim for emotional regeneration. _/▼\_ ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶

☽ 3rd Super Moon ~> Guru Purnima ~> Mary Magdalene July '13

The resplendent Sun now at 0 Leo, opposite the Super Moon in Aquarius, marks the Full Moon also known as ‘Guru Purnima’, ‘the teacher’s moon’, honouring the illuminating spiritual instructor (which the aspirant carries within at the heart (of his or her own Sun)). Guru devotion is something often misunderstood in western society, as we often think we can achieve enlightenment (or whatever) without being shown or taught. Its true, a few do have the karma to be self-illuminating. But for the most part we need a helping hand to guide. Which is where the teacher steps in. And in the words of a most precious guiding light, H.H. 14th Dalai Lama, “The ultimate authority must always rest with the individual's own reason and critical analysis.” __/♥\__

☼☽ ~> From the astrological point of view, ‘The Luminaries’ now in Sun-ruled Leo and group-orientated Aquarius reveal the altruistic self, to find one’s place within humanity. Leo lives for love and drives towards self-knowledge, while Aquarius makes use of such perception for the benefit of others (often within a collective situation). This Super Moon therefore has the potential to mobilize a mass-movement with intuition and awareness, enhancing both individual and universal consciousness, to inspire hope for the future.

This Super Guru Moon also coincides with the celestial Goddess, Venus, being with fixed star, Regulus, at the heart of regal Lion (wonderful marker for a Royal birth). It is also the feast day of Mary Magdalene.

☿ Mercury Direct & Full Super Moon in Aquarius ~> July '13

Planet of healing & communication, trade & transport, Mercury, now goes forward in moon-ruled Cancer.

These past few weeks have been a tricky retrograde, during an emotionally heightened Super Moon season and two Grand Water Trines willing us to ‘purify, surrender, and discover the miracle of unconditional, spiritual love'. Luckily, the Water Trines last throughout August so that we can familiarize such ideals.

Strengthened by lessons of love and forgiveness, we now go forward with greater insight into issues from the past, as well as family matters, be those sangha, cyber or global family. Even if concerned about health and happiness, it could feel like some kind of storm has passed. A little more time and patience, love and acceptance, may be needed by some to experience healing magic. This is not to say that one should stay in difficult situations, but that compassion towards self is paramount.

The third & final full Super Moon of year culminates Monday, July 22nd, at 0 Aquarius 19:14bst (14:14est), adding confidence, clarity, and seasonal passion (fire/water (excess or lack) in the summery north; water/air in the wintery south). Connecting intellect to heart, and to friendly kindred spirits, raises the cosmic love vibration and generates the altruistic intention the Aquarian brother/sisterhood of humankind symbolises.

This is also the ‘wishing’ full Moon, when its advisable to be conscious and careful of what you wish for! My wish is for all beings to realize HAPPINESS is the true nature of reality _/♥\_

And I, for one, am extremely happy Mercury is going forward! :)

Honouring Guru Rinpoche on this 10th day of the 6th Tibetan month, 18th July, with water offerings commemorating the birth of Tibet’s Padmasambhava, otherwise known as Guru Rinpoche, the lotus born, who turns the wheel of Dharma for the Dakinis of the Island.

Sealed with the historic 'Grand Water Trine' (five days before the last Full Super Moon of the year July 22nd), water offerings are symbolic on many levels. With water offerings we create merit so spiritual and material goals can be accomplished. Water offerings encourage generosity and help to overcome desire and attachment, purifying body, speech & heart-mind.

✶ Grand Sextile & the Grand Water Trine ~ purify, renew & generate Bodhicitta - July 2013

17th July ~> Perfecting over the next couple of days, and providing a portal for developing deep spirituality (& good practice days), is the Summer's Grand Water Trine between an exalted Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio & Neptune, at home in Pisces. This incredibly rare formation between three powerful planets in feminine water signs can harmonize being in your flow, enhance intuitive psychic sensitivity, and activate deep compassion for all beings. To the power of three, trines add a magical pyramid power to the spiritual quest: Jupiter provides perspective, Saturn stability and Neptune Divinity; Cancer enhances feelings, Scorpio insight, and Pisces the imagination. The Water triangle can give us the ability to see the bigger picture and care about what we see so that we can purify, renew, and totally refresh thought, word & deed, physically, psychologically, and perhaps most importantly, our understanding of ‘Bodhicitta’, the precious essence of awakened heart-mind. ~> Om Ah Hung! __/♥\__

May it arise in those in whom it has not arisen,
May it never fail where it has arisen
May it go on increasing, further and further!" ....

Six-Pointed Sacred Star ✶ Grand Sextile ✶ Interlocking Water & Earth Triangles ~ July 2013

_(▼)_This triple-whammy moon-ruled Super-Moon Cancer lunation is bringing powerful waves of emotional intensity for everyone to ride, be they personal or mutual feelings, sensations are cosmically bound to be strong, as indicated by the Grand Water TrineS coming to perfection this week, on the 17/18/19/20th July (& the 20th is the day Mercury goes forward!).

_/✶ \_ A week later, starting 27th July, a magnificent Six-Pointed Star once again creates the summer’s Grand Sextile, with interlocking Grand Earth & Water Trines, invigorating celestial sweetness that can enhance and stabilize unseen bio-force, 'chi', through meditation, yoga, mantra, tantra, prayer, dance, music, healing, and basically serving humanity, both spiritually as well as practically. This Six-Pointed 'Star' has the potential to tap into the creative feminine life-force to generate peace and love - so much so that kind souls have created a 'harmonic convergence’ which we can all join and empower the Goddess (within); and has been twinkling in and out of focus since the extremely potent medicine Buddha Moon, June 16th.

This Sacred Star, a the double tetrahedron, a.k.a. Metatron's cube, creates symbols of both, the flower of life, and the Tree of Life, was also in celestial play at the first turning of the Dharma wheel, on the karma multiplied x10-million day, July12th. And it sharpens up the six-points again as we go into the last quarter Tara Moon when Venus is in Virgo, which is just after our third and final Super Full Moon of 2013 on July 22nd. All the while the double Water Trines undulate through the collective consciousness, with powerful and emotion coming up from often suppressed and deepest recesses, activating the Water triplicity’s qualities: Cancer’s personal and familial care and loving kindness (Metta), Scorpio’s social intensity and laser-like insight (Vipassanna) and Pisces’ compassionate ego-dissolving, embracing unconditional love into the communal heart-mind (Karuna).

These energies are powerful. And one must take care not to get swept along by collective hysteria or confusion. There is also a Black Moon Lilith, ‘Kali’ momentum to deal with, which involves cutting the root of ego and the prevention of anger and retaliation (more on that in another post); but suffice to say that the Grand Earth Triangle enables one to remain grounded whilst feelings, thoughts and ideas flow – a bit like the Temperance card in the Tarot, contained yet aware of a powerful flow and movement.

Thanks as always to the amazing Visual Alchemy for ‘Sprouting’

❥ Medicine Buddha ~> 16th July ~> Tara Puja _/♥\_

This first quarter Libra Moon with Spirit Sun in Cancer galvanizes caring into social action. A balanced heart-mind makes it easier to find inner-peace, and engage with others in the common ground that encourages constructive dialogue and diplomatic relations, as the usually harmonizing Libra Moon shifts from opposing radical Uranus (now at station, and about to go retrograde for the next five months) to being with a perceptive Saturn tonight. Uranus tends to stir up emotions, thoughts, groups of people. In an ideal world such shake-ups urge us towards awakening, but the untrained mind often falters in chaos. And as everything changes, in the tension and edginess we can become restless enough to seek alternatives that help ourselves to help others and generate durable healing. When the sensitive Moon joins Saturn and the Grand Water Trine this evening, then slowing down and reflecting (upon spacy insight) under the lapis lazuli blue light night sky helps to remain rooted in the flow of this tremendous opportunity to once purify and renew, and realize an ocean of wisdom. _/▼\_

☸ _(♥)_ Chökhor Düchen ~> July 12 2013 _(♥)_

First turning of the Wheel of Dharma

Karma Multiplied day x 10 million (positive or negative)

Chökhor Düchen is one of the four most important Buddhist festivals of the year. On the 4th day of the 6th Tibetan Lunar Month, just as a growing sensitive Moon begins to make a helpful sextile aspect to the radiant Sun, our source of light and life, Chökhor Düchen celebrates ‘The First Turning of the Wheel’ by Lord Buddha. Setting the wheel of Dharma teachings into motion - after not having taught for seven weeks since his enlightenment - Buddha began with a teaching on ‘The Four Noble Truths’

Gothama Buddha appears to have chosen to illuminate the mind upon a waxing moon. With the growing light of the moon we can experience an increase of clarity, intuition, and emotional insight. And from July 12th's astrological point of view, this very moon is involved in a rare six-pointed star, with two interlocking triangles shaping the starry firmament. A sensitive Moon in purifying Virgo creates a 'Grand Earth trine' with transformational Pluto in responsible Capricorn; and the south node, a.k.a. the Dragon's tail, tells from where we are coming: i.e. in Taurus, and conjunct healing asteroid Hygeia, it suggests Earth healing, though the power of nature. Thus for Chökhor Düchen in the year of the Snake, a Grand Earth Trine creates the magical star with the summer's perceptive 'Grand Water Trine, accenting intuition and feminine sensitivity (which we all have in varying degrees) to help us to see the Truth of things as they really are.

☸ Four Noble Truths:
☸ 1. Life is suffering.
☸ 2. The origin of suffering is attachment (to desire, aggression or ignorance).
☸ 3. The cessation of suffering IS attainable.
☸ 4. There is a path to the cessation of suffering.

♄ Saturn in Scorpio direct ॐ ♄♏♥ ~> July 9th 2013

Moving ahead with insight and discipline, this new Cancer lunation is marked by the heavenly pantheon’s heavyweight, Saturn, going forward after almost 5 months of retrograde motion. At 4Scorpio, and involved in the fortuitous ‘Grand Water Trine’, Saturn now exercises an extremely remarkable skill that reaps the rewards of dealing with an intense kind of karma (which admittedly can seem like a burden) by being confident, trustworthy and diligent.

Acutely perceptive, Saturn in fixed Scorpio tolerates and controls with critical edge and concentrated focus, to work towards (tantric) transformation.  Accomplishment within in Scorpio’s powerful realms of intimate relationships, secrets and power, research and psychology require Saturn’s mastery and responsibility. Timely investment or commitment may well involve emotion, energy or money.  Saturn in Scorpio has the potential to develop trust with an intuitive wisdom that can be passionately shared.

Look to 4Scorpio in your horoscope and find where a laser-like, single-minded one-pointed focus is currently penetrating; and use the indicated attributes to accomplish great deeds.

In other words, prepare to exercise wisdom and transform whatever karmic obstacle, obsession or desire that has held you back, and forge ahead renewed, having mastered fear (with love) with greater strength and resolve.

In the 10th century, Buddhist teacher Atisha wrote ~>
“The greatest achievement is selflessness.
The greatest worth is self-mastery.
The greatest quality is seeking to serve others.
The greatest precept is continual awareness.
The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything.
The greatest action is not conforming with the worlds ways.
The greatest magic is transmuting the passions.
The greatest generosity is non-attachment.
The greatest goodness is a peaceful mind.
The greatest patience is humility.
The greatest effort is not concerned with results.
The greatest meditation is a mind that lets go.
The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances.”

May all beings achieve such wisdom in this one lifetime! _/\_ ॐ ♄♏♥ ॐ

☽ Cancer & Metta Bhavana ~> Loving Kindness July 8th 2013

One of the main Buddhist principles, that of cultivating ‘loving kindness’, Metta Bhavana, towards all beings, is epitomized by the empathetic zodiac sign Cancer, symbolic of familial sustenance and support. Both, Sun and Moon are now in watery Cancer with a new Moon on Sunday/Monday 7-8th July, at 8:13BST, creating a triple whammy cosmic reminder (as Moon rules Cancer) to look after all beings, as a mother would her child.

Sensitivity is magnified and emotions heightened as Sun and Moon form one of two 'Grand Water Trines' currently blessing our heavens. By connecting to shamanic Chiron in magical and compassionate Pisces and the destiny-fulfilling North Node in perceptive Scorpio, the lights – Sun and Moon - spotlight the need to practice loving kindness, with a focus upon our own hearts and plant the seed of love, with the healing and well-being of others as our motivation.

Three other planets, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune triangulate earlier degrees of water signs, adding to an intuitive pyramid power that inspires generosity, imagination, and karmic responsibility. This phenomenal and long lasting emphasis on the water element accents universal interconnectedness (which may even be reflected environmentally in the weather, either in a need/or lack of water or overflow). Also, feelings we cannot put into words and/or overwhelming emotions can, with a little training, raise intuition, psychic insight, and a direct hotline to Divine bliss. Even in the face of recent events around the beloved Bodhi Tree in BodhGaya, developing a warm heart and gently tuning into a peaceful rhythm of life, helps one to be extend loving kindness beyond self, family, tribe or nation, to embrace all beings, no matter the culture, race, gender or background.

“May you be filled with loving kindness.
May you be safe from inner and outer dangers.
May you be well in body and mind.
May you be at ease and happy.” _/\_

☼ ✶☽ Goddess in residence ~> Dakini Day

Dakini Day ~> Sun in Cancer & Moon in earthy Taurus _/✿\_
Emphasising the force of nature and the need to nurture, the brilliant and radiant Sun is in sensitive Cancer, with the Moon exalted in sisterly Taurus: This is Goddess power to the max, supporting and celebrating the creative feminine Spirit. With one hand the caring Goddess today gives generously her earthly delights, but with the other she takes and destroys materialistic desire. Traditional Taurean values such as money, bricks and mortar, are shown to mean little if life’s more simple pleasures are ignored, such as being at one with self, friends and family. Today we may even be aware that life’s real treasure is the heart-mind, the essence of which is the realisation that the Goddess lies within. _/♥\_

♃ Developing intuition ~> Jupiter in Cancer - July 2013-14

BIG year ahead from now until July 2014 for Cancerians (and, to a lesser degree all other Cardinal signs) ~> Beneficent Jupiter moves into tropical Cancer at 2:41bst tomorrow morning, the 26th, for the 1st time in 12ish years. Jupiter expands and grows whichever sign it is in. We’ve just witnessed the last throws of a capacious Jupiter in Gemini, sign of communication, with revelations of how all kinds of information are stored as digital data in excess. Now, however, Jupiter’s emphasis is upon developing intuition and expanding support systems, sangha & (global) family, as well as improving loving kindness and the right-brained fertile world of emotions and feelings. Jupiter is actually exalted in watery, reflective Cancer, sign of the sensitive homebody, which may seem rather odd for all Jupiter’s far-reaching cosmic greatness. Yet it makes perfect sense that in order to be adventurous and develop faith and ethics, hope and academia, to be wise and to grow, we need fans on the home front to lend generous support; i.e. we need to nurture our inner-stability, so that we are secure in our foundations, before fully grasping the (spiritual) world’s more abstract concepts, theories or truths, from all of which Jupiter, as sacred Guru - teaches us how to be liberated.

Also, from a worldly point of view, it’s a great year for home improvements for everyone (says she with paint pots at the ready!)

◯ Full Capricorn Super Moon & the Solstice Sun ~> June 2013

☼ ☾ The full Super Moon on Sunday @12:31pmBST (6:31amEST) is at 2Capricorn, accenting the brilliant Solstice Sun, as it stands resplendent with generous and optimistic Jupiter. The Full Super Moon is indeed astrologically super, as it also brings into practical play a rare ‘Kite’ formation that includes the overwhelming power and fluidity of the ‘Grand Water Trine’; thus it is the Moon, i.e. ‘the people’, our emotions, our (vibe) family, and our needs, that are all now playing a pivotal role as catalyst for crystallising important ideas, events, situations, as well as enabling one to embody the compassion, care & perception indicated by this immensely important and long lasting Grand Water Trine.

Note how the summer’s perceptive and intuitive Grand Water Trine lasts until early September; Water and its qualities of purifying and nurturing will continue to be a theme throughout the summer. Notwithstanding a decade of rainy summers forecast in Britain, planets in the Water element make it easy to tune into a collective undercurrent; feelings that sense a transformation in the making. And it is the Spirit of the Solstice Sun which now seals this magical configuration that works on many emotional levels; being in exact trine to the perceptive Saturn in Scorpio AND watery Neptune in Pisces on the 26th June (same day Jupiter goes into Cancer, and Mercury goes retro in Cancer, advising us to reconsider family and security).

This Water triplicity, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, manifests at its highest vibration as compassion with Neptune/Chiron in Pisces, perception with Saturn in Scorpio’s laser-like insight, and caring Cancer, with Sun, Venus, Mercury, soon to be joined by expansive Jupiter, who is exalted in Cancer.

From the Buddhist perspective we could say this a summer of developing a connection between ‘Maitri’ (Metta), loving kindness (symbolised by Cancer, caring as a mother loves her child), ‘Karuna’, compassion when life is in the flow of change is Pisces; and Saturn in Scorpio, developing the Bodhisattva spirit with Vipassanna, the special penetrative insight into the true nature of reality– all of which can be enhanced by specific meditative techniques that help us to put compassion into action.

The Water trine can therefore enhance prayer, meditation and all work with unseen energies with positive affect. In light of this please send love & healing prayers to Northern India where the Temple town near the source of the sacred Ganges has been flooded and mountain tsunamied: many people have died and are still missing; Also Calgary in Northern Canada, where 100,000 people have been forced to evacuate due to flooding.

Thank you & thanks for sharing. _/♥\_

Cosmic Teacher's ~> Guru Rinpoche day ~> 18th June & Sun conjunct Jupiter _/\_

☼ ✶ ☾ Five days before the years’ largest Full SuperMoon, and two days before the year’s solar turning point at Summer Solstice, Spirit Sun conjoins the Cosmic Guru, Jupiter (exact at 17:10BST June 19th), making for Tibetan Buddhists an especially doubly poignant Guru Rinpoche day. For today we also celebrate the miraculous lotus-born birth of Tibet’s 8th century second Buddha: Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava, the great master who was born on this 10th day of the waxing lunation in a Monkey month (June).

Guru Rinpoche emphasises the importance of dwelling in the open-minded attitude of enlightenment, remaining optimistic and devoted to faith when faced with obstacles. Similarly, in astrology, Jupiter is the enthusiastic planet of philosophy, travel and truth, and the archetype we look to in the horoscope to explore new horizons, understand others, and spiritually grow into our natural wisdom.

Both Guru Rinpoche and Jupiter are teachers that encourage us to expand our world view and consciousness, confident in knowing that all elements - including space, are interconnected. With Guru Rinpoche’s teachings we too, can also grow our personal rainbow aura, with an awareness which radiates from the heart-mind.

As Sun and Jupiter meet at 28 degrees of Airy and intellectual Gemini, they also conjunct the fixed Royal star, Betelgeuse. Betelgeuse indicates success and honours; through clear communication we can now connect with honest and devotion and call upon the Guru’s transcendent perfection to help overcome mental obscuration and delusion and, depending upon which stage we are at in our continual unfolding, embrace relative and ultimate truth, so that we, too, can become masters of pure mindfulness, and be of greater benefit to others in these changing times.

✡ Medicine Buddha & a Six-pointed Star ~> June 2013

☼ ~✶~☽ An extraordinary pattern dominated this lunation's Medicine Buddha Moon, a six-pointed star involving two interlocking triangles: one is the summer’s Grand Trine in Water, the other a fleeting Grand Earth Trine, made all the more stable with a first quarter Moon in Virgo. This formidable feminine formation implies we are already intuitively aware of the healing needed within the body, as well as with our environment; the restorative Virgo Moon is also opposite shamanic healer, Chiron, quickly overcoming inhibited emotion, enabling the expression of needs and feelings in a practical manner.

A most valuable healing factor is to note how the current Gemini Sun/Jupiter conjunction highlights bamboozle hoop-la and hysteria, as well as an influx of important information. Knowing one’s connection to joy and beauty is vital in being able to maintain the healthy psyche that stops one from falling for any superficial hype, and encourages access to our natural wisdom, sensitivity, and intuition.

~> The cosmic wheel turns, and Solstice full SuperMoon (Sunday 23rd @14:32BST) emphasizes the cosmic fire that flows from the heart of the Solstice Sun, as well as the mighty strength of the Grand Water Trine. The mind’s concern is with altruistic emotion and the Divine natural law. It is also when the highest tides of the year will be experienced. This is one of the year’s major turning points and, while temperaments can change and fluctuate, the potential for crystallising ideas into form is strong.

☾ Dark Moon in Gemini ~> June 13

☼☾ Maintaining a quiet mind during this the Dark Moon presents a challenge, as Moon conjuncts active Mars and policymaker Pallas Athena, whilst all in communicative Gemini – the same sign as tomorrow’s new Moon, when our nurturing Moon conjoins Spirit Sun (and expansive Jupiter) at 16:54 BST (11:54EST).

☆ A multi-dextrous Gemini juggles ideas, fact and figures, as well as conveying information, goods, and medicine (and therein lays the gift of the celestial courier). With no less five celestial markers now in Gemini, it suggests we’re on information overload (but still with an inclination towards healing); brains could whir trying to understand a planet involved in seemingly endless chitter-chatter. Yet making sense of the dualistic world now demands different tactics than ordinary number-crunching analysis, especially as energy levels tend to be naturally low at dark Moon. Consider stepping back from the monkey mind to revitalise and strengthen heart and soul, and potentially provide answers to tricky questions. These planets in airy Gemini not only emphasise data and brilliant intelligence, but also the importance of giving the mind much-needed space, to shape new ideas and grow.

When in the still silence of space, mind naturally radiates; and it is in this state that insight naturally arises – which is why watching our breath in meditation is so helpful for personal decision making, as well as generating mindfulness towards others, rooted at One with all that we are.

Also today Neptune, planet of dreams, meditation and unconditional compassion begins a 5-month retrograde in Pisces; this extra-long transit teaches universal forgiveness (among other qualities), internalising kindness and sympathy.

As you breathe out, cherish all Beings.”

Sky Dancing Dakini Day! ~> June 2nd/3rd 2013

An airy Gemini Sun makes a harmonious aspect to the emotive Moon, in autonomous Aries. Together they generate a burning passion for the spiritual warrior to communicate and act upon thoughts seemingly carried by the wind.

Curious Gemini stimulates the enquiring mind to cruise the information highway and to transmit news, ideas, and knowledge. Moon in dynamic Aries quickly assimilates such information, so that how we feel about important issues can be swiftly assessed, synthesised and acted upon before next weekend’s Gemini New Moon, June 8th.

Interestingly, both spirit Sun and the fiery, living-in-the-moment Aries Moon are now in a good strong aspect to liberating Uranus, where ‘The Light’s’ highest vibration is for all beings to be treated as equal. Thus the Gemini sky-like mind spirals towards the end of this lunation with a feminine guiding hand that senses the need for personal independence and freedom, be that a freedom to think or worship, or from war, suffering or hunger. And thus has a cause to support.

Even with a helpful aspect, emotions can be powerful. So while Uranus dictates primitive emotion such as anger and selfishness are unhealthy and obstructive – i.e. always thinking of I, me and mine, it may be the seed for causing potential harm to others, as well as be bad for the heart; the caution here is to avoid thoughtless whim and sudden martial exploits on impulse. Uranus is the Hierarchical ruler of Aries: self-centred attitude can certainly be directed to developing personal strength, but using this might of individual volition for an altruistic cause and the benefits of others is the action of mindful warrior of the heart, not a domineering dictator.

Happily, this Summer’s delightful Grand Water Trine is now shaping up to direct the mind-stream to be in one’s flow: to be caring, perceptive and compassionate. This deeply sensitive Grand Trine sets the tone for the coming months, getting extra encouragement at the new Moon, as well as at another powerful Solstice Full SuperMoon (the 2nd Full SuperMoon in a row of three!).

Tara ~ Medicine Buddha Moon ~ May 31st _/♥\_

Sun in Gemini – Moon in Pisces ٠•●♥♥●•><((((º>

An ultra-sensitive Moon in Pisces is currently conjunct oceanic Neptune, and the zodiac’s shaman, Chiron. Three planets in the all-consuming sign of the fishes indicate that emotions are profound but insightful, leading to deep and meaningful healing, even if currently overwhelmed by Samsara's seemingly never-ending round of suffering, loss and separation. With the radiant light of the Sun illuminating fast-thinking Gemini, the curious mind is more easily aroused to analyze problems, discover compassion, and find workable solutions to all kinds of issues, be they physical, mental, or spiritual - even if it means making certain sacrifices in order to fulfill long-term goals for the greater good of the whole.

Goddess Tara now emphasizes these planets in Pisces, highlighting the need for tolerance and compassion, especially when overcoming obstacles; as we now resonate to the words of Marriane Williamson, “The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.”

SAGA DAWA _/♥\_ Vesak _/♥\_ Buddha Purnima May 24th/25th 2013

Honouring the day of Buddha’s (birth) enlightenment & Paranirvana _/♥\_

KARMA MULITPLIED X 10 million, because one of the most important days in the Buddhist calendar, Saka Dawa (Saka = Sakyamuni Buddha & Dawa = Moon in Tibetan), is also a lunar eclipse, at 5:25 Gmt (00:25EST) early Saturday morning.  With Earth only faintly shadowing the sensitive Moon at 4° Sagittarius, opposite the 4°Gemini Sun, this third eclipse in a row nonetheless presents another turning point that can deepen empathy and compassion, as well as our connection to the subtleties of the heart-mind and body, to the seen and unseen. Psychic energy abounds during this eclipse, creating positive development as well as challenges to ego and emotion to comprehend the eternal energies of cosmic consciousness. Thus the interplay between Sun, Moon and Earth - cosmos, self, and the Divine, becomes a delicate dance skillfully synchronising interior and exterior towards enlightenment.

To add to the responsiveness of this Full Moon in the sign of the archer, it is also the only Supermoon eclipse of the year, when tidal pull is strong. Seeing how we are 70%+ water, we too are now subject to poignant swings. However sensitive or emotional one might feel now or over the coming days, this eclipse encourages one to be adventurous. The greatest journey, however, is inside the mind, to broaden both thinking and vision and determine illusion from delusion. The Sagittarius-Gemini axis stimulates mental processes, integrating recent realisation (over the past 6 months) – intellectual or spiritual – into daily life and become more self-accepting, tolerant of others, and aware also of how powerful speech, thought, and media can be. Truth-seeking Sagittarius is the sign of the sage who comprehends the dualistic Gemini mode of communication: ideas aired now impact strongly upon others, spiritual or otherwise, which makes it all the more important that we have the right view with the right understanding because, in the words of the Buddha "All is mind. What we think we become"

Whilst bathing under Full Moonbeams we also have a rare week-long conjunction of three planets: Mercury, Venus and Jupiter, all in the sign of the twins, which can be seen just after sunset in the northwest of the sky.  Generally speaking, these planets working together generally portend an optimistic outcome; and even if a little over the top, one can be philosophical.  Mercury & Venus are also currently ‘out-of-bounds’ meaning that they have strayed over the celestial belt, making the planets of communication and love slightly renegade!

It’s also worth noting how Solar-flare resonance has been extremely high since the start of this lunation, with no less than 4 X-flares in a matter of days at the time of the first quarter. Any lethargy or confusion, stress or tension, could easily be personalised by Earth’s receptivity to Sun’s current action during this eclipse season. Bear in mind that we are at the height of an 11-year cycle of solar activity, ‘Solar Max’ as it is known in the astro trade. There may well be more X-flareS to come, but the constant flow of M-class flares we are no experiencing are ejecting high-energy protons and plasma guided towards earth along magnetic lines.  It’s almost as if the Light of Intelligence, Sun, charged-up to connect with the Divine self during this eclipse season to help us realise that individual consciousness and cosmic consciousness are actually indivisibly one.

Interestingly, though this eclipse will almost be impossible to detect, it’s importance lies in the fact that it is the beginning of a new series of Saros Cycles, called Saros 150, which will last 1262.11 years.  Saros Cycles are eclipse families joined by similar sacred geometry every 18 years 11 days, taking hundreds of years to complete. These are lengthy karmic cycles, opening heavenly gates for spiritual energies to move in and out. To my mind this eclipse marks a valid collective turning point, as it will bring energy in from North to South, joining heaven to earth.

Basically this weekend its time to draw back that Saggitarian bow and direct the arrow of intention to go forth & make Karmic Merit! :)

With many thanks to unknown artists for Radiant & eternal Buddha and the constellation Gemini
