Focus with the Wisdom Eye ~ New Capricorn Moon 2016

🎆 A New Capricorn Moon, 28-29th December, means tonight is the darkest night of the year (in the North), thus marking a time to rest, in sync with the nearest New Moon to Winter Solstice. At 6:54am GMT, both Sun and Moon will be at 8Capricorn; set intentions for (Summer's) accomplishment with focus, discipline and wisdom, and imbibe the responsibly-minded sea-goat's ability to climb mountains with ease and freedom, able to overcome all kinds of obstacles with dedicated application. Even as Mercury turns direct on the 8th Jan, far-sight and long-term thinking will be rewarded.
Aim and concentration are the astral order of this New Capricorn Moon. Time now to keep sights firmly in mind, prioritize and prepare, aware of the nature of reality, one’s true nature, Buddha nature and the light within. As 2016 draws to a close, new light ignites a New Year with an electrifying charge, one that has the ability to awaken and, if your karma is ripe, free the mind.

🎆Happy 2017 Everyone! 🎆

Mercury direct~> opposite Uranus x3 = CHANGE of mind ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸♥ OCT 2014

The planet of communication, Mercury going forwards today in Libra (did I hear a cheer 'hooray'?! ), and with it the words of fellow Libran Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” become ever more popular. Rightly so; for each and every one of us has a personal responsibility to alter – and improve – our lives, as well as benefit those of others around us, and therefore shape our own (collective) destiny. But how do we actually do that?

By changing the way we perceive ourselves, our relationships, and our position in the world we do actually alter the way we react. By seeing all the good around us, the kindness and love we give and receive - and are grateful for - it enables one to generate a feelgood factor, which in turn makes problem solving much easier. Ghandi also said that “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” To all intents and purposes many go through the opposite of this, bumbling best we can through a time of soul searching, seeking new ways of looking at the world, and new ways to change our approach to problems so that our needs get met, if not our wants. Yet these times call for material consolidation and practical advancement in spiritual study. Though it’s not always easy to implement the new ideas, symbolised by Mercury's retrograde in Libra, but by the time that Mercury re-enters Scorpio, on the 9th November, we may be very glad that we were brave enough to embrace the change that come from the heart, bringing beauty and joy to the fore.

✴️ All change! 4 planets change direction for the start of the Wood Horse Year!

Hooray! Mercury, planet of information and communication, goes forward today, 28th February, just in time for Losar, the Tibetan New Year of the Wood Horse. In these past few weeks, Mercury has perhaps even revealed how a bit of distance and reorganisation, coupled with a change of attitude has garnered help to visualise the dream and overcome (emotional) problems. At the same time dynamic Mars stations in the heavens to go retrograde (which is does every two years and two months) and concentrate upon the Libran qualities of peace and love. For the next three months (until May 20th), the challenge for Mars in Libra is to mediate rather than take up arms in any kind of conflict. The Libran Mars (remember Summer 2012) accents that the pen is mightier than the sword, and the need for justice when working with others and forming alliances, especially those which can help conquer feeling helplessness in situations/relationships where we perceive we have no control. The old adage “Two heads may be better than one” may prove rather effective in generating the enthusiasm to create some kind of power/fiscal/emotional balance.

The two personal planets, Mercury & Mars, are not the only ones changing direction: Jupiter, the celestial pantheon’s Grand Duke is also making a second of three hits to squaring Uranus, the planet of change, all-the-while preparing to go forward at 10Cancer, Wednesday the 5th March – only two days after the end of the protector Dön period leading up to Losar (and beyond). So even though things might seem at a standstill for the Year of the Horse, there will undoubtedly be noticeable movement from this date.

Lord of Karma, Saturn, also changes direction to go retrograde on Monday! For almost 5 months, Saturn going backwards in Scorpio will no doubt bring up issues of secrecy and trust.

Any changes we now see/sense/understand are therefore a clarion call to partake in the evolution of humanity in this dynamic year of the Wood Horse during a Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun. Those with planets around 9-12 degrees water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces; and those with planets at 25-29 Air may astutely feel these winds of change blowing in his or her direction and feel compelled to respond and act upon critical collective issues, and bring about positive transformation compassionately, so that each individual can contribute to the greater good of the whole, aiding all beings seen and unseen.

☼ ☽ ¸¸.•*¨*•☆
If you would like to know how these changes of direction constellate your horoscope, I’m giving special rates during the Losar month ~> please contact me for rates.
With thanks for sharing to ShadRaja for this wonderful cosmic windhorse! _/\_

☿ Mercury Direct & Full Super Moon in Aquarius ~> July '13

Planet of healing & communication, trade & transport, Mercury, now goes forward in moon-ruled Cancer.

These past few weeks have been a tricky retrograde, during an emotionally heightened Super Moon season and two Grand Water Trines willing us to ‘purify, surrender, and discover the miracle of unconditional, spiritual love'. Luckily, the Water Trines last throughout August so that we can familiarize such ideals.

Strengthened by lessons of love and forgiveness, we now go forward with greater insight into issues from the past, as well as family matters, be those sangha, cyber or global family. Even if concerned about health and happiness, it could feel like some kind of storm has passed. A little more time and patience, love and acceptance, may be needed by some to experience healing magic. This is not to say that one should stay in difficult situations, but that compassion towards self is paramount.

The third & final full Super Moon of year culminates Monday, July 22nd, at 0 Aquarius 19:14bst (14:14est), adding confidence, clarity, and seasonal passion (fire/water (excess or lack) in the summery north; water/air in the wintery south). Connecting intellect to heart, and to friendly kindred spirits, raises the cosmic love vibration and generates the altruistic intention the Aquarian brother/sisterhood of humankind symbolises.

This is also the ‘wishing’ full Moon, when its advisable to be conscious and careful of what you wish for! My wish is for all beings to realize HAPPINESS is the true nature of reality _/♥\_

And I, for one, am extremely happy Mercury is going forward! :)

Mercury direct ~> in Pisces March'13

Thank Heavens! Planet of communication Mercury is now direct, and the healing trickster will soon be wading out of these Piscean waters٠•●♥❤♥●•><((((º>

This particular Mercury retro, has been one of the slipperiest retrogrades for a while, as things/people/situations challenged equilibrium, compassion, and the ability to surrender unto something greater than ego. The deeper meaning of this Mercury retrograde has been to ride the waves of emotion and realise how the intuitive light within illuminates all kinds of conundrums. Issues surrounding this Mercury retrograde could linger a while, even as we go forward into an exciting Spring Equinox on Wednesday 20th ~> when Spirit Sun joins dynamic Mars and radical Uranus in the sign of the Ram. The Moon will be in Cancer then too, and the order of the day will be to proceed with caution. So no hard and fast pedal to the metal; take corners or shortcuts with careful ease and sensitivity, and take on board the lessons of the past few weeks, to be an aware and conscious being. _/\_

Mercury Direct Dec'11 & The Caduceus: A cosmic clue to 2012

Caduceus carrying symbol of healing & communication, Mercury, is going forward tonight, 13th December '11, in far-sighted Sagittarius, the sign of religion, philosophy, and big sweeping concepts such as the God partical: Over the next couple of weeks we get to apply any re-found wisdom that helps to understand the bigger picture (at Cern), as well as putting into perspective much-needed (global & individual) remedial action.  When Mercury once again crosses ‘The Great Attractor’ towards the end of the year, the power of the mind to heal physically, mentally and spiritually, becomes a cosmic key for 2012. New ideas to restore a natural balance could  come thick and fast.

Mercury’s current change in direction is accompanied by a tightly connected fire triangle, with the regal Leo Moon in trine to radical Uranus (who has also just gone forward) in autonomous Aries.  This formation can generate optimism and warmth, even if feeling low energy (particularly in the aftermath of a strong eclipse as we have yet to reach the Winter Solstice point on the 21st December, when light returns (to the Northern hemisphere) to restore higher energy levels. The challenge during this poingnant Mercury station is to intuit the gracious goodness of our inherent Buddha nature, as Mercury also squares shamanic Chiron (& spiritual Neptune).

When Jupiter turns direct, on Christmas day, all planets will be going forward into a new year; the prospect of renewing our value system could well birth new faith. This emphasis upon visionary Sagittarius and its ruler, Jupiter, as well as informative Gemini, and its ruler, Mercury, is the major theme of 2012.  Jupiter even moves into Gemini in June. And with dynamic Mars in Mercury-ruling Virgo for eight months, one might even say 2012 is Mercury’s year.  2012 is therefore a year to work with Mercury's magic wand, the caduceus, on an external, internal, and secret way, in order to heal mind, body AND spirit.

Mercury ☆ Mars ☆ Nov 20 ☆ Becoming 'The Immovable One' Akshobya

From the Moon throne arises Akshobya 'The Immovable One' with the admantine nature of pure consciousnes radiating compassion upon any irritation. ♥_/\_ૐ

Akshobya transforms anger into mirror-like wisdom:

And with Mercury now conjunct Mars (20th Nov '10) at 17 Sag = Quick thinking with an even quicker tongue, it means we can be quick to rise ~> Anyone feeling tetchy? Best watch being super-critical and, because the mind is on fastforward for the next couple of days - over this Full Moon - the celestial challenge is see how quickly one can bring ourselves into check and transform any anger into discriminating awareness. ♥_/\_ૐ

Bare in mind that Mercury is entering an applying shadow period just after this weekend's Full Moon, to go retrograde on the 11th of December at 5 Capricorn (with Pluto, Ceres & the North Node), when seeking the wiser and more caring (collective) direction comes into focus.  Then,  just as this difficult year comes to a close, Mercury turns direct at 19 Sag, revealing how we renew our optimism by transforming the mind.  Mercury once again conjuncts Mars early next year, at 28 Aquarius on Feb 20th, when our anger'ometer once again is tested to remain cool, calm, and collected, with a mind unpeturbed by internal thoughts or outside events.

Saka Dawa New Moon ~ Love & Enlightenment 2010

Phew… Big sigh of relief, as Mercury, planet of information, finally began to roll forward Tuesday night, albeit rather slowly. These past few weeks have been intense in so many ways, especially when gathering one’s thoughts, conveying a message, or making any journey - all forms of communication have been seriously hampered, making it a bit like wading through treacle to face sticky moments with sweet smiles. Notwithstanding dear old facebook chat on hold, making contact with others could have been at the mercy of something else outside our dictate: Various events i.e., volcanic ash, a massive oil spill and a shaky Euro mean few of us are escaping the word ‘crisis’ – which, by now, most know is another expression of ‘opportunity’ in Chinese: Yet still, in the midst of the modern world in a spin, we need to be patient, to mature our staying power and strength to make the most of these opportunities (and, according to the Boddhisatva vow, for all beings to benefit).

So it remains to ask: Why is our patience being tested? Patience is one of the Buddhist six perfections. But how do we better ourselves by being patient? With patience we become wise, less likely to be at the mercy of our emotional reactions.

Composure, tolerance and insight is astrologically called for until the end of the month; patiently remaining in control of thoughts and emotions means we are far less likely to anger. Besides, getting angry wipes out merit stock from the karmic bank; giving in to anger means we rarely think straight and only perpetuate misunderstanding, uncertainty and chaos.

All kinds of valuables - finances as well as relationships - could have born the brunt of this particularly frustrating Mercury retrograde period. But tonight’s new moon (on the 14th) at 2:04 GDT 23Taurus, suggests making a grand plan to bring about healing those values, so that a fair resolve now has every chance of working. This might be good news for some as, according to my understanding of astrology, we hit the nadir of this current financial predicament on the 23rd of May, after which the only way is up. I could be wrong, but recent events lead me to sense we could well be on the road to recovery (barring hot-heads and/or environmental circumstance).

This New Moon is also the beginning of Tibetan Saka Dawa month, celebrating the birth, death, and enlightenment of Lord Buddha on the Full Moon on the 27th May, which will be a multiplied karma day x1000. Saka Dawa months marks a lunation cycle that generate intense all pervading love & light in mega lux lumens.

Inspiration and blessings come from the cosmos as Jupiter, planet of expansion and optimism, joins forces with Uranus, the ‘Great Awakener’. This combination is positively visionary: the bigger picture encapsulates spiritual perspective. These two planets are now working together in Pisces, activating a new awareness of life’s magic and mystery. In early June they will perfect their conjunction at zero-point Aries, kick-starting summer projects with zest, zeal and excitement. Whoo-hoo! Even if its wet or cold, at least the summer won't be boring.

Building the Framework ~ Solar Eclipse in Capricorn

Whenever we have the sensation that change is afoot, it can be rather disconcerting. Especially if there are no obvious concrete or practical plans regarding the direction a new, but seemingly inevitable development might take? If you can feel an undercurrent of dramatic change, either on a personal or global level, take heart: We are still in eclipse season, and 2010’s first real turning point is about to be revealed. Having ushered in the New Year under the auspices of a partial eclipse of the Full Moon, the second and more decisive solar eclipse (they always come in pairs) is on the 15th January, when Sun and new Moon join forces in the sign of Capricorn, the sign recognised for invested practical effort. This happens the same day that communicative Mercury goes forward, taking the breaks off Capricorn objectives, enabling one to present ideas more clearly.
Capricorn resonates with the karmic law of cause and effect, in much as those born with this sign prominent in the horoscope tend to comprehend that everything said, thought or done, has a knock-on effect: As we sow, so shall we reap; or in modern language: What we put in, we can get out – even against all odds – as long as we do it right. It takes a certain amount of discipline, authority and confidence to develop this kind of deep faith - not just in oneself to achieve, but also that others will appreciate the skill, determination and sheer ambition to accomplish the empirical Capricorn goal. So when the Sun and Moon meet in this sign a potent portal of energy opens, signalling a time to build, stirring big business into action, be it personal, professional or political. Spiritually speaking, this is wonderful time to build a framework for pratice, and give oneself a discipline that will generate the awareness of how to be of greater assistance to humanity (and create positive karma).
It’s worth noting when eclipses happen, which is twice a year, six months apart working on an 18.3 yearly cycle. The next set is in the summer; also in the signs Cancer and Capricorn, suggesting an evolution of instinctual consciousness with combined spiritual awareness. A good rule of thumb, when going through any kind of watershed now, is to think back 18-ish years and see what was happening and evaluate any similar defining moments. Then note how we follow our destiny. A cosmic union of Sun and Moon aligning with Earth creates intense and dramatic turning points in many areas: As an integral part of the alignment, our planet, Earth, also experiences powerful pressure levels, with volcanoes, earthquakes and high tides all quite common during these few weeks. And as we humans are intricately connected to the heavenly lights, Sun and Moon, we are too are subject to similar seismic shifts. During an eclipse it is therefore most important to protect psychically as well as physically, and connect to the holy light of Spirit within. The ability to unite with Spirit could also become easier for many in the early part of this year as beneficial Jupiter, bringer of favourable expansion, moves into Pisces, the sign of spiritual world service, on Monday the 18th.

The Wings of Mercury

The winged messenger Mercury returns to my personal point of contracts. Guess what turned up? Yes, the contract for the already done tarot job (as I predicted to da boss). So I'm happy Mercury Direct now re-enters its home sign, communicative Gemini. Any exchange of ideas should speed up considerably.

The Mercurial courier also carries a healing wand, the Caduceus, as he travels swiftly through the sign of the twins; the next three weeks are optimum to boost the immune system with helpful remedies, healthy lifestyle, and a certain amount of mind training that retains poise and strength. Chakra meditation can balance mind, body and Spirit. While ‘insight meditation’ is for seasoned practitioners to observe the neuroplasticity of the cosmic psycho-spiritual-anatomica
l alignment. Knowing we are what we think and eat, means watching what is digested and allowed to influence; this also means noting whom to cultivate as (cyber) friends and neighbours. Note to self: Should the mind swirl with negative thoughts, take deep controlled breathes to energise with more oxygen, and make an effort to quickly change tack and generate sound motivation.
