A
New Gemini Moon, during the year of the dynamic Green Wood Horse, on
the 28th/29th May at 18:40UT, sees the start of a lunar cycle when
Himalayan Buddhists celebrate ‘SakaDawa’, and the birth, enlightenment
and paranirvana of Gautama Sakyamuni Buddha. Throughout this next
lunation, karma is multiplied 100x. Creating merit is encouraged. Karma
is further multiplied 100billion x at the Saka Dawa Full Sagittarius Moon, bringing teachings to and from the cosmic Heart Guru.
Whatever is set into motion with this New Moon cycle, spiritual
practice or healing project, or romance even, is celestially sealed with
three incredibly optimistic astral markers, creating a wave of powerful
cosmic energy; firstly with the sacred Six Pointed Earth-Water Star ✡
on the 5th June; culminating with the blessed festival of SakaDawa ۞ at
Full Moon 13th June; and for magically Divine Feminine Solar-Luna
interaction, with a last quarter waning Dakini moon at Summer/Winter
Solstice ☼ June 21/22nd, bringing this holy lunation around full bliss!
Also, at this start of SakaDawa lunation, Gemini
Sun/Moon/Healing Goddess Hygeia are in hard square to compassionate
Neptune in Pisces, to learn how to heal others with kindness and
consideration. By the end of this lunar cycle (June 27th) Neptune then
makes a much better aspect and trineS the Cancer Sun/Moon. Generally
speaking, this shift from tough aspect to easy makes this a month of
potential peak blissful experiences, particularly when surrendering in
devotion, to be of spiritual service for the greater good in the world.

Wishing
for all beings to reach enlightment with a teaching from Verse 29 from
Atisha's ‘Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment',"I shall not be eager to
reach enlightenment in the quickest way, but shall stay behind till the
very end for the sake of a single being."

~> ☉ & ☿ ♍ - ☍- ♆ ♓
The Spirit of the purifying Virgo Sun is currently boosted by the
healing qualities of fleet-footed Mercury, Virgo’s ruler. As well as
being the planet of wheeling and dealing, Mercury represents the kind of
mental pacts we make with ourselves, particularly in regards to the
healthy nurturing of mind, body and soul. A difficult
Mercury placement can signal ignorance and/or negative thought
processes. However, the winged messenger is now exalted in exacting
Virgo, so Mercury is in the best possible place to be, to make this an
optimum time to assess the benefits of a sensible lifestyle to look
after oneself: positive thinking and healthy diet being the starting
point of any remedial therapy.
For the next few days, both
Sun and Mercury are also involved in the Sacred Six-pointed Star
formation, galvanizing the curative Medicine Wheel (which began early
July). And while these two planets now directly oppose spiritual
Neptune, at home in visionary Pisces (exact Mercury opposition today,
with the Sun opposite Neptune on the 27th), the power of visualization
and working with unseen energy is magnified. Awareness of the invisible
field of consciousness emanating unconditional love and bliss can be
made manifest and utilized for practical purposes. Through prayer,
meditation, yoga, dance, music and art (etc), Neptune in Pisces
dissolves ordinary boundaries, taking us into uncharted astral realms
(of the imagination), to align with the Divine, as well as highlighting
the subtle energies that flow in and around the heart-mind and body
(chi, bio-energy).
This cosmic connection creates an earthly
perspective: Even if we cannot completely overcome suffering or cure
disease, a positive intention coupled with the right tools, view and
understanding, can heal a flagging human spirit: note that to transform
suffering into joy advances spiritual practice. As the Buddha says “Your
worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts.” So
the most important thing we can ever do is to cultivate a good heart,
towards ourselves - and others.
Heal well my friends ~>

First turning of the Wheel of Dharma
Karma Multiplied day x 10 million (positive or negative)
Chökhor Düchen is one of the four most important Buddhist festivals of
the year. On the 4th day of the 6th Tibetan Lunar Month, just as a
growing sensitive Moon begins to make a helpful sextile aspect to the
radiant Sun, our source of light and life, Chökhor Düchen celebrates
‘The First Turning of the Wheel’ by Lord
Buddha. Setting the wheel of Dharma teachings into motion - after not having taught for seven weeks since his enlightenment - Buddha began with a teaching on ‘The
Four Noble Truths’☸.
Gothama Buddha appears to have chosen to illuminate the mind upon a
waxing moon. With the growing light of the moon we can
experience an increase of clarity, intuition, and emotional insight. And
from July 12th's astrological point of view, this very moon is involved in a
rare six-pointed star, with two interlocking triangles shaping the
starry firmament. A sensitive Moon in purifying Virgo creates a 'Grand
Earth trine' with transformational Pluto in responsible Capricorn; and
the south node, a.k.a. the Dragon's tail, tells from where we are
coming: i.e. in Taurus, and conjunct healing asteroid Hygeia, it
suggests Earth healing, though the power of nature. Thus for Chökhor
Düchen in the year of the Snake, a Grand Earth Trine creates the magical
star with the summer's perceptive 'Grand Water Trine, accenting
intuition and feminine sensitivity (which we all have in varying
degrees) to help us to see the Truth of things as they really are.
☸ Four Noble Truths:
☸ 1. Life is suffering.
☸ 2. The origin of suffering is attachment (to desire, aggression or ignorance).
☸ 3. The cessation of suffering IS attainable.
☸ 4. There is a path to the cessation of suffering.
