Guru Purninima ~> Full SuperMoon July 11-12-13th 2014

Full Super Moon 11th-12-13th July __/\__
☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶

Because the Cancerian Sun is with an exalted Jupiter, planet of hope and cheer, there is every heavenly cause to be optimistic with a wonderful Capricorn Full Supermoon, to be exact at 12:25BST Saturday, 12th July. Expansive Jupiter magnifies, as well as also being the Sacred Guru who offers protective wisdom, so that one can remain confident - even in the midst of important beginnings, and possibly even more poignant endings.

Note: This is no ordinary SuperMoon (astronomical name ‘perigee syzygy’ when the Moon is closest to the Earth), as complex celestial geometry raises the cosmic love vibration to enhance spiritual development and reveal the Divine within. By creating an obvious dynamic opening for powerful transformation, dramatic change, and insightful revelation, both ‘The Lights’, Sun and Moon, pick up the ‘Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun’, as well as making a Grand Trine and rare ‘Kite’ formation. And although there may be storms, high tides and flares, we always seem to have some kind of suffering to confront – everything is relative – Events surrounding this Full SuperMoon ask us to generate loving kindness with a harmonious heart, and to negotiate all levels of diplomatic healing between neighbours, friends or foes, seen or unseen, so that all beings can know peace.

Image is of the Kalachakra Sand Mandala, the mandala for World Peace. During this Full SuperMoon, with the union of wisdom and compassion, His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama is conferring an Initiation into this multidimensional mandala in Ladhak India. May it be of benefit to all

△ Taurus Sun sextile Jupiter in Cancer ~ May 5-6-7-8th '14

Living in the present is the way of a mindful spiritual warrior. To be aware of each moment means we can live life to its fullest. But still, on a relative level, it sometimes helps to look back and assess how we’ve come along when developing potential. In astrology it is the planet Jupiter that provides the 360° perspective of past, present and future, giving us the ability to measure time, distance, and our association with Oneness.

Since Solstice ’13, optimistic Jupiter has been exalted in sensitive Cancer, from where he soothes painful past memories at the same time offering hope for the future. And as Cosmic Guru, beneficent Jupiter holds a key role in being able to synthesize the activity of this particular moment in time, through the currently waning Cardinal Cross which pressed the surge button for dynamic spiritual growth.

As well as being involved with a magical Grand Water Trine (leading to another Grand Sextile, Sacred Star later this week!) which generates responsible healing on deep cellular level, Jupiter is also making his last major aspect to the stabilizing Taurus Sun, Tuesday 6th May, in a closing cycle which ends, and therefore marks a fabulous new beginning with the Full July SuperMoon, still two months away. This, therefore, is the time to head to the top of the metaphoric mountain and imbibe some of Jupiter’s encouraging wisdom; with panoramic vision find space to relax with plans and ideas, and see what needs to be brought together in order to peacefully move into and embrace the changing world. All the while Goddess Venus, now in assertive Aries, is nudging up to visionary Uranus, reminding us to love living in the present, wherever we may be. After all, ‘now’ is all we have and is the springboard into the future. Best use each moment wisely. ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸

& ponder this...
“If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.” ~ Lao Tzu

ૐ Dakini Day! _/♥\_ૐ April 24th ~> onwards to the Solar Eclipse!

April 24th ~> Dakini Day! _/♥\_ૐ With the Goddess always committed to spiritual care, it is during this intense time of the Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun that honoring the Divine Feminine now blesses all enlightened activity.

These last few weeks in April/May have astrally marked a major shift in consciousness, albeit on a deeply subtle level for many. Now the sensitive Moon in Pisces (conjunct Neptune) makes her last strong and sacred aspect to the Taurus Sun, before joining forces with the New Taurus Moon Solar eclipse on Tuesday 29th, to create core stability that aids staying on center during the upcoming solar eclipse and Grand Cross activity. This is a profoundly feminine combination of ‘The Lights’ accenting heartfelt devotion (to helping self to help others). It is worthwhile noting that La Luna makes mainly positive aspects while she transitions through this waning Moon phase. Only on Sunday the 27th does the Dark Aries Moon activate the Grand Cardinal Cross, and the four yang planets indicating the guards of the gates of the four square mandala: Uranus in Aries (east), Jupiter in Cancer (south), Mars in Libra (west) & Pluto in Capricorn (north). The Moon in worldly astrology represents the people; and as the Moon now enters the mandala through the Eastern gate associated with the Year of the Horse, we can all sense something big is happening. And it’s true, with beneficent Jupiter, planet of freedom, truth and expansion also the natural synthesizer of this Cardinal Cross.a natural kind of magic is developing - almost out of the blue. And manifesting Divinity into matter is not just a wistful whim of the imagination, but a dramatic realization that by relaxing into the refuge of the flowering heart, we discover the blessed joy of great delight. _/♥\_ૐ

☒ Please contact me here for rates if you would like an astrological consultation during this Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun. With a big Thank YOU to travelling Alchemy for Red Metatron _/♥\_ૐ with love, Laura

✴️ All change! 4 planets change direction for the start of the Wood Horse Year!

Hooray! Mercury, planet of information and communication, goes forward today, 28th February, just in time for Losar, the Tibetan New Year of the Wood Horse. In these past few weeks, Mercury has perhaps even revealed how a bit of distance and reorganisation, coupled with a change of attitude has garnered help to visualise the dream and overcome (emotional) problems. At the same time dynamic Mars stations in the heavens to go retrograde (which is does every two years and two months) and concentrate upon the Libran qualities of peace and love. For the next three months (until May 20th), the challenge for Mars in Libra is to mediate rather than take up arms in any kind of conflict. The Libran Mars (remember Summer 2012) accents that the pen is mightier than the sword, and the need for justice when working with others and forming alliances, especially those which can help conquer feeling helplessness in situations/relationships where we perceive we have no control. The old adage “Two heads may be better than one” may prove rather effective in generating the enthusiasm to create some kind of power/fiscal/emotional balance.

The two personal planets, Mercury & Mars, are not the only ones changing direction: Jupiter, the celestial pantheon’s Grand Duke is also making a second of three hits to squaring Uranus, the planet of change, all-the-while preparing to go forward at 10Cancer, Wednesday the 5th March – only two days after the end of the protector Dön period leading up to Losar (and beyond). So even though things might seem at a standstill for the Year of the Horse, there will undoubtedly be noticeable movement from this date.

Lord of Karma, Saturn, also changes direction to go retrograde on Monday! For almost 5 months, Saturn going backwards in Scorpio will no doubt bring up issues of secrecy and trust.

Any changes we now see/sense/understand are therefore a clarion call to partake in the evolution of humanity in this dynamic year of the Wood Horse during a Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun. Those with planets around 9-12 degrees water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces; and those with planets at 25-29 Air may astutely feel these winds of change blowing in his or her direction and feel compelled to respond and act upon critical collective issues, and bring about positive transformation compassionately, so that each individual can contribute to the greater good of the whole, aiding all beings seen and unseen.

☼ ☽ ¸¸.•*¨*•☆
If you would like to know how these changes of direction constellate your horoscope, I’m giving special rates during the Losar month ~> please contact me for rates.

✫☽~♥~☉✫ Full Moon in Cancer January 15/16th ✫☽~♥~☉✫

Like a Mother looking after her child, the Moon at home in Cancer provides a place of homely protection, the sanctuary from chaos, and an anchor in rough seas. And the key to the Cancer Moon’s ability awaken the Divine Mother (within each of us) to show care and consideration is love, unconditional and pure.

This Cancer Full Moon, (sandwiched between two New SuperMoons) is exact Wednesday 15th/Thursday 16th at 4:52GMT, accenting professional guidance and practical care for next of kin, as well as friends and the global family. Reflecting the Spirit of the life-giving Sun in accomplished Capricorn (conjunct retrograde Venus), the growing-to-full Cancer Moon conjuncts generous Jupiter, revealing opportunities and helpful, available resources, emotional or solid, that feed and nurture growth and positivity.

With the actual Full Moon, however, there’s a tougher, almost wrathful feminine force at work. Conducting dark energy scored from the Moon’s trajectory around Earth, and determined to protect Earthly treasures (elements water and Earth), Black Moon Lilith heralds from the Divine Mother’s womb as the wisdom Dakini to conjunct this Cancer Full Moon. Black Moon Lilith is the wild part of our self that is fearless when entering the void to embrace bliss. For this is the power of the Divine Feminine who understands the alchemical transformational of Kundalini snake medicine, and whose heightened sense of enlightened awareness galvanises the participation of solving and resolving all the emotional and worldly problems in Samsara’s sea of suffering, as a means of caring and healing and cutting down haughty ego. This, then, is no ordinary Full Moon: it’s a Full Moon with the potential to awaken and illuminate the (collective) subconscious and transform into action.

☽ 1st Quarter Medicine Buddha Moon _/\_Sun in Sagittarius ☉ ♐ ~ ☽ ♓ Moon in Pisces Dec 8- 9-10 ~ 2013

1st Quarter Medicine Buddha Moon _/\_
Sun in Sagittarius ☉ ♐ ~ ☽ ♓ Moon in Pisces ~> This health-giving combination of the growing ‘Lights’ develops faith, hope and charity, and is fluid and changeable. Emphasising deep emotional intelligence, this sensitive First Quarter Moon in square to Spirit Sun provides the ability to open the mind and follow psychic threads through the astral-morphic field by intuitively sensing oceanic connectivity and feelings of oneness and bliss. At the same time as expanding consciousness through creative visualisation, the Sagittarius Sun embraces the bigger picture through academic comprehension, understanding how the mind-body-spirit pathway is inextricably linked, especially when it comes to healing.

Research has shown how visualisation and mindfulness affect the body on a molecular level; with positive thoughts reducing stress on the heart-mind. Now the generous and unconditionally compassionate amalgamation of Sagittarius and Pisces encourage the happy heart and healthy morale that contributes to healing self, as well as others, by knowing that the circle of compassion is to include all beings with love and devotion.

This meditative Pisces Moon also forms a beautiful 'Grand Water Trine' between the Sagittarius ruler, Jupiter (which is also the traditional ruler of Pisces, hence the double-battery positivity with this combination of Lights), now in Cancer, and Saturn in Scorpio. Those who have 16-20 degree water sign planets could ‘feel’ an extra boosts of benefits this week. Also, think back to last July to see how much a certain idea/relationship/project has grown and stabilised; then give yourself until May 2014 to reach a conclusion. ॐ_/♥\_

◯ ♉ Taurus Full Moon ~ Festival of The Light of the Gods ♏ ☼ Kartik Poornima

The Full Moon at 26 Taurus, 15:16 GMT (12:16EST), November 17th, is an exalted moon – meaning this is the best possible sign for the emotional Moon to be in, providing stability in the midst of an incredible transformation. This moon radiates feminine wisdom, encouraging clarity and insight into the shadowy issues of control and desire, obsession and greed. Now is the time to be brave, get grounded, and leave no stone unturned when dealing with personal peccadilloes. As the Moon Goddess now displays a discerning wisdom which helps one to overcome the insatiable craving which self-cherishing fixates upon. At the same time this combined celestial experience of earthy Taurus and insightful Scorpio provides the opportunity to determine that which is wholesome and nourishing, for the spiritual warrior to uproot any negative emotion that obscures the realisation of ultimate and conventional truth.

Sun & Moon are also in good relation to the Cosmic Guru, Jupiter, planet of truth and freedom, affording an overview of a greater plan (in conventional terms that could take until March to implement or move to another stage). Jupiter is also currently exalted and retrograde in the water sign Cancer; and, interestingly, it is the Water element which is honoured during this Festival of the Light of the Gods, by making light offerings to water and libation to rivers, pools and oceans, there is a powerful symbolism of purifying and healing, releasing and renewing, and connecting to all that has gone before and all that is.

As light illuminates darkness, this is THE Full Moon revered by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists alike - although for different reasons, the reverence held for this Moon Festival of The Light of the Gods shows the profound power and depth of devotion and feeling during this fixed and determined combination of ‘The Lights’: Sikhs commemorate the birth of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism; Hindus celebrate Kartik Poornima, the triumph of Shiva over the Tripuri, three cities overrun by Demons; for the Jains it is the Full Moon Festival of Light that comes after Diwali; for Buddhists it is the Moon when Lord Buddha accepts the invitation by one of his disciples to return to Earth from the realms of the Devas, the realms of the Thirty-Three, where he went to repay the kindness show by his Mother, and to teach her the Dharma (in the realms of the Goddess), which he does at the upcoming Last Quarter Moon. Thus, on Sunday the 24th of November, Buddhists the world over celebrate the rebirth of Lord Buddha, as one of the four most important days in our calendar.

Until then, receive the Full Moon blessings, and enjoy the clarity offered by this Moon of many names, Dark Moon, Tree Moon, White Moon, Snow Moon, Beaver Moon, Trading Moon, the Moon that celebrates The Light of the Gods.

Grand Water Trine ~ Guru Rinpoche Day November 12th __/♥\__

When the almighty Spirit Sun passes through the powerful sign Scorpio, it signifies a deep and extraordinarily insightful time, when touching moments are laden with poignant beginnings and endings that tend towards a some kind of rebirth: psychological, spiritual, or physical. And now, on Guru Rinpoche Day, as water signs Scorpio Sun and Pisces Moon work beautifully together with another strong and helpful planet Jupiter, the Cosmic Guru – also in fellow water sign Cancer (where he is exalted), they create a fluid and receptive ‘Grand Water Trine’.

While a Grand Water Trine encourages one to go inwards to explore the world of the imagination, this particular trinity is also spiritually expansive, showering blessings and generating hope and compassion which can only enhance Scorpio’s discerning skill, to bring about greater understanding of life’s magic and mysteries. Today may well be one of those days when it’s easier to be in one’s flow and synchronicity abounds.

The sensitive Moon is also the emotional anchor in today’s sky. So instead of being swept away by overwhelming feelings, transform negativity into positive action, and give thanks for all the goodness in life; by dedicating this beauty to the benefit of all sentient beings, we find stability within the compassion heart. __/♥\__

☼ ♌ ~ △ ~ ☾ ♐ Guru Rinpoche Day ~> _/♥\_ August 16th 2013

☼ ♌ ~ △ ~ ☾ ♐ = Guru Rinpoche Day ~> _/♥\_
August 16th = 10th day of the 7th Tibetan Month of the Bird

One of the 20th century’s greatest Lamas, Dudjom Rinpoche says this about today's Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava “On the Tenth Day of the month of the Bird, the Tirthikas from Tamradvipa threw Him into the river Ganges. But having performed a Vajra Dance in the sky, by His magical powers He caused the waters of the river to reverse their flow. Having awakened faith in them, at the time of establishing the Doctrine in their kingdom, He became known as Kha-ding Tsal or Khagamana, "He who soars in the sky like the Garuda."”

While this great mythological story involves wondrous beasts such as Garuda (the snake–eating King of Birds), one has to read between the lines of any magical twilight language and think symbolically. As such, the month of the bird offers the ability to fly high and rise above the earthly mundane to have perspective upon all life. That Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava, was thrown into a sacred river, the Ganges, suggests he emerged filled with ever-flowing blissful devotion, emanating unconditional love - qualities which reverse the tide of negative emotion and overcome obstacles.

A Vajra Dance honours unified connectivity and all elements in all ten directions: the four cardinal and four cross-quarters (phases for sun & Moon) as well as up & down: stabilising mid-heaven to mid-earth. The Vajra (a.k.a. Dorje) is the diamond sceptre used in Tibetan tantric practice to symbolise focus, form and vitality, awakening the practioner to the foundation of the physical realm through its dynamic thunderbolt action. The ‘Thunderbolt’ is also one of Jupiter’s tools. In astrology, Jupiter IS the sacred Guru, ‘The Vajra Holder’.

Now exalted in watery Cancer, Jupiter can soar high above emotional dross, offering the ability to see the bigger picture, at the same time giving substantial support. Jupiter in moon-ruled, home-loving Cancer is also in a very powerful association with this 10-day Moon, called ‘mutual reception’, as the Moon is in Sagittarius, which is ruled by Jupiter. This means that the Sacred Guru, Jupiter, and the sensitive Moon are in extremely good relations today.

So you see, even though we might need to adjust our emotional viewpoint, today is astrologically perfect to acknowledge Guru Devotion, and tap into the stream of Lama Love that honours our teachers (within) to make offerings, fly prayer flags, and give thanks for all the spiritual guidance they so caringly give, as a mother would her child. _/♥\_

✶ Grand Sextile & the Grand Water Trine ~ purify, renew & generate Bodhicitta - July 2013

17th July ~> Perfecting over the next couple of days, and providing a portal for developing deep spirituality (& good practice days), is the Summer's Grand Water Trine between an exalted Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio & Neptune, at home in Pisces. This incredibly rare formation between three powerful planets in feminine water signs can harmonize being in your flow, enhance intuitive psychic sensitivity, and activate deep compassion for all beings. To the power of three, trines add a magical pyramid power to the spiritual quest: Jupiter provides perspective, Saturn stability and Neptune Divinity; Cancer enhances feelings, Scorpio insight, and Pisces the imagination. The Water triangle can give us the ability to see the bigger picture and care about what we see so that we can purify, renew, and totally refresh thought, word & deed, physically, psychologically, and perhaps most importantly, our understanding of ‘Bodhicitta’, the precious essence of awakened heart-mind. ~> Om Ah Hung! __/♥\__

"Precious, sublime bodhicitta:
May it arise in those in whom it has not arisen,
May it never fail where it has arisen
May it go on increasing, further and further!" ....

♃ Developing intuition ~> Jupiter in Cancer - July 2013-14

BIG year ahead from now until July 2014 for Cancerians (and, to a lesser degree all other Cardinal signs) ~> Beneficent Jupiter moves into tropical Cancer at 2:41bst tomorrow morning, the 26th, for the 1st time in 12ish years. Jupiter expands and grows whichever sign it is in. We’ve just witnessed the last throws of a capacious Jupiter in Gemini, sign of communication, with revelations of how all kinds of information are stored as digital data in excess. Now, however, Jupiter’s emphasis is upon developing intuition and expanding support systems, sangha & (global) family, as well as improving loving kindness and the right-brained fertile world of emotions and feelings. Jupiter is actually exalted in watery, reflective Cancer, sign of the sensitive homebody, which may seem rather odd for all Jupiter’s far-reaching cosmic greatness. Yet it makes perfect sense that in order to be adventurous and develop faith and ethics, hope and academia, to be wise and to grow, we need fans on the home front to lend generous support; i.e. we need to nurture our inner-stability, so that we are secure in our foundations, before fully grasping the (spiritual) world’s more abstract concepts, theories or truths, from all of which Jupiter, as sacred Guru - teaches us how to be liberated.

Also, from a worldly point of view, it’s a great year for home improvements for everyone (says she with paint pots at the ready!)

Jan 1st @00:01 ~> At the stroke of midnight, the Moon will be in party-loving, heart-centred Leo! In mundane (political) astrology, the Moon represents ‘the people’; in warm and generous Leo, the sign of leadership, creativity and LOVE, La Luna’s influence encourages us to tap into our inner spiritual strength with the trust of a child, to stay positive, and welcome 2013 with a Lionheart _/❤\_

Wishing you oodles of fun and festive frolics! While the heavens also suggest we avoid negative drama, as the Moon is also at the apex of a ‘Thor’s Hammer’ formation, with the 'handle' being an applying square between surprising Uranus and communicative Mercury: insight is clearer when our excitement and/or performance is innocent and loving!

2013 is set to be another year themed with incredible transformation (and the ongoing Uranus Pluto square (through 2015)); good times roll more quickly in the second part of the year - when munificent Jupiter rocks into his sign of exaltation: Cancer (the same sign as our immensely powerful Full Xmas Moon:)).

Happy New Year to all my dear friends of Dharma Stars! _/❤\_
Personal note: I’ll be back online and ready for Astrology Consultations in a few days, LOVE, Laura XXX
