12:12:17 Dakini Day & Lama TzongKhapa day

✶☽ The last Dakini Day of 2017 comes before a New Sagittarius Moon on the 18th December (conjunct the Galactic centre); and Solstice, the longest night/day of the year (depending upon which hemisphere you are) is also just over a week away. A dark moon around the time Spirit Sun changes its emphasis of Light compounds the need for profound reflection – and rest (for the North). At Sol’s turning point on 21st December, seasons begin to change as the light again returns to Earth's North, and diminishes in the Southern hemisphere.
The next five days are known as ‘Great Yin’, when the feminine Yin's earthy darkness and comforting soul encourages within us all the gentle female qualities of understanding, fairness and compassion. The sensitive Goddess is aware of the plight of others. She radiates feminine principles which soften our hearts, all the while being able to remain cool and rational, to care for others who are suffering or in pain.
☼ ✶☽ A glorious sky dancing Red Goddess generously brings love, kindness to every heartmind. As the waning Moon in peaceful and social Libra, now harmoniously activates Spirit Sun in convivial and scholarly Sagittarius, for the Lights concentrate the ‘higher mind’ to find emotional and spiritual balance through philosophy, culture and beauty.
This is a wonderful time to be with friends, to reflect upon the passing year and contemplate future plans
☼ ✶☽ Today is also 'Lama Tsongkhapa day', one of the most important days of the Tibetan Galugpa tradition, celebrating its founder 🙏☀️🌍
Wishing everyone a very happy Dakini Day!
With many thanks to Soyolmaa-Davaakhuu for the painting 'At Night' for lovely Red Goddess. ॐ_/\_

Wood Sheep SakaDawa 2015 ~> Guru Rinpoche Day_/\_

☼ △ ☾ A glowing Luna beautifully reflects the light of Spirit Sun, which is also now growing into its illuminating magnificence; SakaDawa Full Moon in Sagittarius celebrates Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and paranirvana, is on Tuesday 2nd June. Before then, the current Gemini Sun, Mercury, Mars conjunction continually stimulates the mind (great time to train the mind with lojong and/or mindfulness); as the ability to understand and act upon the ‘right view’ is greatly enhanced by resting on centre, and finding balance by talking things through with others, and generally airing questions, thoughts and information that can be put into action.

☼ △ ☾ In good aspect to the Moon in Libra, which is conjunct the destiny-fulfilling North Node, ‘The Lights’ now presents a wonderful turning point, towards the light, towards love, beauty and harmony as a mainstay of relationships.

☼ △ ☾This configuration on Guru Rinpoche day suggests the relationship is one between teacher and student, Guru and chela is almost ‘fated’, as though one were ‘meant’ to have a soul contract in splendour and devotion. Today, therefore, is a day to cherish those relationships from which we learn.

❤ “Om Tara Tutare Ture Soha” Tara Moon Jan15

12th/13th January __/\__Tara Moon ~> The Capricorn lunation’s last quarter healing Moon in Libra calls upon Tara, the beautiful Goddess of Compassion, as the Envoy of Peace, to save us from being overwhelmed by fear, anxiety, or other earthly concerns. Secure in the support of the Divine Feminine (within), now is the time to seek a calm place of rest (before the next new moon January 20th), somewhere to reflect, feed the soul, and absorb the inherent fractal beauty of creation.
This last quarter Moon is also conjunct the destiny-fulfilling North Node, where a fair and just future currently beckons. Thus the astral message is to follow your heart: Do whatever makes you feel love, balanced and in harmony with the world. In the nicest possible way, let go of all that which prevents spiritual practice, all the while mindful of how karma multiplies. Any judgment should be directed towards forgiveness, to free the heart-mind and allow the healing LoveLight to shine in all ten directions.

☸Chökhor Düchen ~ 31st July/1st August 2014

….~ ☸~ First turning of the Wheel of Dharma ~ ☸~….

Karma Multiplied day x 10 million (positive or negative)

☼ On the 4th day of the 6th Tibetan Lunar Month, as a growing sensitive Moon begins to make the lunation's first advantageous sextile aspect to our source of light and life, the radiant Sun, we celebrate ‘The First Turning of the Wheel’ by Lord Buddha with Chökhor Düchen. Chökhor Düchen is one of the years’ most important Buddhist festivals.

Setting the Dharma wheel into motion – after not having taught for seven weeks since his enlightenment – and encouraged by his students, Indra and Brahma, Buddha began with his teaching on ‘The Four Noble Truths’.

Four Noble Truths:
☸ 1. The reality of suffering (Dukka).
☸ 2. The cause of suffering is attachment (to desire, aggression or ignorance (Samudaya)).
☸ 3. The cessation of suffering IS attainable (Niroda).
☸ 4. There is a path to the cessation of suffering (Magga, through the 8-fold path).

Gothama Buddha chose to illuminate his followers upon a waxing moon. The Sun-ruled Lionheart Leo is now in helpful aspect to the purifying Virgo Moon moving into harmonious Libra. With the growing light of this moon we can experience an increase of clarity, intuition, and emotional insight about our self (Leo Sun). Personal courage to reach the equanimous mind is also strengthen and, by extension, our relationships (Libra Moon) can be loving and kind, wanting the best for all beings.

Dedicating all merit and positive actions of body, speech & mind (word, thought and deed) that I/we create today, to heal the suffering, wherever it is found with a blessed Chökhor Düchen May all beings be free from suffering!

Medicine Buddha ~> 4-5-6th July & HHDL's birthday!

First quarter Medicine Buddha/Tara Moon in Libra: Now is the time to listen to the heart and find happiness and harmony within the core of the family – be it global family or kith and friendly kindred spirits – and prepare for the Full SuperMoon in a week's time, July 12th, when there’s a sense of destiny at work within certain, loving relationships. _/\_

This particular Moon cycle also carries the dynamic ‘Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun’, activating deeply felt spiritual awareness in relation to one’s individual souls' journey; and how we connect with others makes all the difference to our own wellbeing. The personal blessings from developing the Libran impartial kindness and Cancerian care towards all we meet have the potential to now produce a profound karmic healing, and pacify or even heal heart and mind, body and soul.

And if you are lucky to have clear evening skies (in the northern hemisphere), look up to see the waxing first quarter moon in the beautiful lapis lazuli blue night sky, and imbibe the blue healing vibration our cosmos gives so freely. Over the next few days one may also witness electric blue ripples in the evening sky, with a setting sun and rare noctilucent ‘night shining’ clouds. _/

On Sunday, on his 79th birthday, His Holiness Dalai Lama is preparing the Mandala for World Peace, the Kalachakra Mandala.
Happy Birthday Holiness! _/
\_
Kala means time and Chakra means wheel. Kalachakra is the most complex mandala representing the cosmos as a whole. Yours truly has had the supreme good fortune (when good karma ripened ) to have done this with him twice before (and also 2x with other masters), and I know how concentrated one must be in order to follow the whole 11-day process from start to finish (when sand mandala is erased and offered to water). In this photo HH is laying the first line in the Eastern Gate of the Great Bliss Mind Mandala.

~> May all beings in all realms be happy, and at peace _/\_
Have a beautiful weekend!

With ℒℴѵℯ_/✿\_ & many thanks to Dechen Ling Press for image of Medicine Buddha & to Olivier Adams for the wonderful photo of His Holiness and the initial stages of the sand mandala _/
