This first Full Moon of the Tibetan year of the Red Female Fire Bird celebrates a ‘Day of Miracles’, called ‘Chötrul Düchen’. Today we light candles and make light offerings to commemorate Buddha’s miraculous displays, which came about through his purification of thought, word and deed, meditation and ethical mind-training, plus an accumulation of lifetimes of karmic merit.

☸ A magical Pisces stellium includes Spirit Sun with oceanic Neptune, accenting boundless hidden spiritual strength, collective undercurrents, and the karmic imprints of an entire soul group. Next to the prayerful Pisces Sun are asteroids Pallas Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, strategy and war; together with Chiron, the solar systems’ psychic kundalini Shaman, they imply feminine wisdom is now key to healing accidental emotional wounds.
Close to Sun is the celestial messenger, Mercury, also in psychedelic Pisces. Poetic and romantically fuelled by spiritual oneness, Mercury in watery Pisces is suited to the meditation cushion, in order to find the mind's true inner nature is a radiant and bright, with a heart brimming with unconditional Love.

✡ Medicine Buddha & a Six-pointed Star ~> June 2013

☼ ~✶~☽ An extraordinary pattern dominated this lunation's Medicine Buddha Moon, a six-pointed star involving two interlocking triangles: one is the summer’s Grand Trine in Water, the other a fleeting Grand Earth Trine, made all the more stable with a first quarter Moon in Virgo. This formidable feminine formation implies we are already intuitively aware of the healing needed within the body, as well as with our environment; the restorative Virgo Moon is also opposite shamanic healer, Chiron, quickly overcoming inhibited emotion, enabling the expression of needs and feelings in a practical manner.

A most valuable healing factor is to note how the current Gemini Sun/Jupiter conjunction highlights bamboozle hoop-la and hysteria, as well as an influx of important information. Knowing one’s connection to joy and beauty is vital in being able to maintain the healthy psyche that stops one from falling for any superficial hype, and encourages access to our natural wisdom, sensitivity, and intuition.

~> The cosmic wheel turns, and Solstice full SuperMoon (Sunday 23rd @14:32BST) emphasizes the cosmic fire that flows from the heart of the Solstice Sun, as well as the mighty strength of the Grand Water Trine. The mind’s concern is with altruistic emotion and the Divine natural law. It is also when the highest tides of the year will be experienced. Neptune in Pisces & the Miracle of Spiritual Love _/\_♥ ૐ Feb 2012

Oceanic NEPTUNE changes signs today, Feb 3rd, returning to imaginative PISCES for the first time in 165 years (for only the 2nd time since its discovery!) ~> where the magical 8th outer planet stays for the next 14 years, until 2026. Mystical Neptune in spiritual Pisces stimulates deep sensitivity, a shared sense of oneness and collective emotional experiences, as well as the third eye. Individual intuitive psychic senses are also heightened, as is the urge to submerge and infuse with the Divine through blissful Piscean/Neptune ways, i.e. yoga, meditation, prayer, subtle body awareness, ritual trance, healing, art, music, dance, poetry, film, photography, and swimming, or any other positive activity in which we lose or renounce the ego-grasping self, happy to be in the cosmic love vibration, and of spiritual service of other sentient beings.

To actively achieve this compassionate condition, in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition we generate ‘Bodhicitta’, which is precious state of mind. Bodhi means 'awakened' or 'enlightened' – 'citta' is the heart-mind. When we generate bodhicitta not only do we want other s to be free from suffering, we also want to be awakened ourselves - and this means we must also be kind to our ‘self’. Bodhicitta therefore aims for both personal and planetary healing, which Neptune in Pisces indicates. 

Fourteen years is a long time in a sign, and the ingress chart for London sets the cosmic intention of Neptune Pisces, still travelling with heaven's wounded healing shaman, Chiron, also in Pisces since April 2010. Together these planets imply the importance of (planetary and personal) emotional healing, as well as the need to purify the world’s water. Luckily, Neptune and Chrion also approach the descendant, point of contracts, signifying much can be done together, as spiritual friends, in loving healing partnership, actively involved in generating bodhicitta, and a balanced heart with the light of awareness.  

The ingress chart also shows Neptune and Pluto in 'septile' to each other; this celestial connection creates a rarely seen magical portal between the two outer generational planets, denotes a small window of opportunity to transform our understanding of the 'unseen' Neptunian or Piscean vibration - one might also read that because Neptune's nature is to create illusion and glamour, this lovely aspect - that could signify spiritual critical mass - could pass us by. (But I don't think that will be the case.)  

A deLIGHTful 'Grand Trine' involves the 6th house Neptune in water sign Pisces, in trine to a conversant 10th house Moon in airy Gemini, and Saturn in Libra in 2nd, also in Air.  The 6^th house Neptune accents daily spiritual practice; Moon in the 10^th suggests a responsibility to keep informed; and Saturn in the 2^nd tells us to value love and cast a discerning eye over finances. This is an air/water Trine that accents mental, emotional and economic stability can be achieved and employed, especially when raising consciousness for (mass) healing. Certain close relationships could have taken a knock this week, but take heart; a 't' square between the Gemini Moon and the current Mars/Venus opposition requires kindness, compassion, and a balance between those combined want's and/or personal requirements, so that all parties get their need’s met. 

In light of the exaltation of Venus in Pisces accenting universal love, am also sharing a rather timely quote from my precious Guru, His Holiness, Dalai Lama (whose name means an Ocean of Wisdom!)

Mercury Direct Dec'11 & The Caduceus: A cosmic clue to 2012

Caduceus carrying symbol of healing & communication, Mercury, is going forward tonight, 13th December '11, in far-sighted Sagittarius, the sign of religion, philosophy, and big sweeping concepts such as the God partical: Over the next couple of weeks we get to apply any re-found wisdom that helps to understand the bigger picture (at Cern), as well as putting into perspective much-needed (global & individual) remedial action.  When Mercury once again crosses ‘The Great Attractor’ towards the end of the year, the power of the mind to heal physically, mentally and spiritually, becomes a cosmic key for 2012. New ideas to restore a natural balance could  come thick and fast.

Mercury’s current change in direction is accompanied by a tightly connected fire triangle, with the regal Leo Moon in trine to radical Uranus (who has also just gone forward) in autonomous Aries.  This formation can generate optimism and warmth, even if feeling low energy (particularly in the aftermath of a strong eclipse as we have yet to reach the Winter Solstice point on the 21^st December, when light returns (to the Northern hemisphere) to restore higher energy levels. The challenge during this poingnant Mercury station is to intuit the gracious goodness of our inherent Buddha nature, as Mercury also squares shamanic Chiron (& spiritual Neptune).

When Jupiter turns direct, on Christmas day, all planets will be going forward into a new year; the prospect of renewing our value system could well birth new faith. This emphasis upon visionary Sagittarius and its ruler, Jupiter, as well as informative Gemini, and its ruler, Mercury, is the major theme of 2012.  Jupiter even moves into Gemini in June. And with dynamic Mars in Mercury-ruling Virgo for eight months, one might even say 2012 is Mercury’s year.  2012 is therefore a year to work with Mercury's magic wand, the caduceus, on an external, internal, and secret way, in order to heal mind, body AND spirit.
