△ Grand Air Trine △ Guru Rinpoche day _/\_ Jan'15

☽☆☾ This lunar cycle’s 'Guru Rinpoche' day, when we give thanks and honour our guides, teachers and, in the Tibetan Buddhist’s tradition, our Lama, has a seriously intellectual quality about it, with reason and love triumphant when embracing unity, bliss and emptiness. This is because a triangle formation between the Aquarian Sun, the growing Gemini Moon, and the Moon’s North Node in Libra, now emphasises the highest functions of the heart mind.

△ With a 'Grand Air Trine' the ability to find common bonds through ideas and friendship can create unity that helps to overcome the dualism separating us from the cosmic Oneness, which has our best interests at heart. Indeed, this kind of magical spacy cohesion helps to appreciate how the teacher works in mysterious ways. Please note that a teacher can be within, someone you met, or from books or videos, even.

△ And though we are all born with an inherent inner wisdom, none of us is perfect. In Buddhist philosophy we are all each others’ teachers, in one form or another. So it is during this glorious Gibbous Moon phase, before the upcoming glorious full Moon, where we celebrate the sacred connections that help us to breathe easy and remove karmic obscuration.

△ Paying respect to those who help gain personal insight, intuition, and wisdom overview, continues to be in the spotlight with Full Leo Moon, Tuesday the 4th, which will be conjunct Jupiter, the solar system’s munificent ‘Cosmic Guru’, which should be fun. ;)

☽☆☾ It is also worth noting how the nodal axis, with north &south nodes signifying where we are going and where we are coming from respectively, are currently activated by eccentric Uranus, conjunct the South Node. This powerful galvanization from the planet of change, Uranus, advocates the movement towards peace, beauty and harmony (NN in Libra) by raising awareness of where we have been, bringing new gifts to make serious changes (Uranus conjunct SN) that embrace the new and exciting.

In this astral Aquarian age of enlightenment, altruism is the key to the success of any transformation. _/

♥\_  Garuda is the Himalayan ‘King of the Birds’, who removes the poison to avoid any injury that comes about from desire, ignorance and aversion. In the Tibetan Kalachakra system of astrology, Garuda is associated with the inventive Fixed Air sign, Aquarius. the sign in which Sprit Sun currently resides.

❤ Friendship, Love & Unity on a Full Moon V-day! ♥ Feb'14

V is for Valentine, the healing saint who married couples forbidden to wed, and over the years has become a symbol for romantic LOVE. V is also for Venus, Goddess of LOVE hearts and flowers, who presides over relationships.
Cosmic synchronicity abounds as Friday 14th February is Valentines’ day, the very same day of the week that Venus governs, Friday.  Not only that, joy of joys, it’s also a Leo Full Moon, the playful sign of LOVE which rules the warm heart.

Ever get the feeling the heavens are asking us to perfect the heart essence and let our natural loving goodness flow? ~> Heart to heart…

“ If we learn to open our hearts, anyone, including the people who drive us crazy, can be our teacher.” ~Pema Chödrön

Accenting creative self-expression and the glory of the individual Spirit in relation to the greater whole, this Full Valentine Moon is exact at 26 Aquarius (in the decanates ruled by Venus!), at 23:52GMT Friday night (6:52EST).

Spirit Sun and Soulful Moon are also in T-square to karmic Saturn, accenting associations that require networking, patience and strength to overcome issues which block the path to love & freedom. While visionary Aquarius is the light that shines across the world ‘shining light within the darkness, cleansing with healing rays until the darkness is dispelled’, the Leo Moon fires passion and confidence in doing what’s best for all concerned, friends as well as loved ones.

♥ ☼ ♥ Shine the Love Light ♥ ☼ ♥

A poem ~> ‘Illuminating Light’ from the Upanishads

“There the sun shines not, nor the moon and the stars,
nor the lightning, let alone this earthly fire.
Only when illumining Light shines,
everything else shines;
the self-revealing Light illumines the entire universe.”

Love Heals ♥ ~> Last Quarter ♥ Valentine ♥ Scorpio Moon ♥

A Last Quarter Valentine Scorpio Moon on Tuesday ♥ Feb 14th has the power to help to overcome obstacles and heal the heart and Spirit of all kinds of relationships, be that with yourself, your family, your friends, colleagues or co-workers, as well as the treasured Valentine heart.

With Spirit Sun in eccentric Aquarius, in a closing square to the extremely perceptive Scorpio Moon, the lights accent the profoundly therapeutic qualities of Medicine Buddha as well as Goddess Tara’s enlightened activity. Both signs, Aquarius & Scorpio, are fixed and fearless. Aquarius is cold sharp Air, and Scorpio the inexhaustible well of Water; together they produce instinctive intelligence, combining intellect and sensitivity to delve into deep and delicate issues with an air of cool detachment, yet still emotionally engaged.  This, in my opinion, is a most shamanic Sun-Moon combination.  Not only are we one week away from Losar, the Tibetan New year, but one must also bare in mind how the Moon is also hierarchical ruler of Aquarius, suggesting that only when everyone’s needs are met does humanity evolve.

So we say goodbye to the Rabbit Year, and before the New Water Dragon begins this Mysterious Scorpio Moon could takes us into very dark spaces and places, just as the non-conformist Aquarius Sun provides a fluorescent electric zapper that twinkles and illuminates, especially tantalising within the hypnotic shadows. In short, now is the time to liberate the psyche, and shine laser-light insight into the depths of the receptive soul, to access an assess previously ignored or hidden situations or circumstance (within, as in one’s own intuitive action, speech, or intent; as well as without, as in inter-personal and/or intimate relationship).

Throughout this global day of Medicine Buddha Insightful Goddess Love, our aspirations can be like a humanitarian Water Bearer, firmly holding an altruistic wish for all to be in their flow; at the same time our sensitive Scorpio Moon develops inner-resources that enable us to release negativity into the void, to be at once transformed and purified. During any crisis of conscience, be aware that clarity and wisdom work together at this point in time in a state of highly creative tension, dancing between crazy inspiration and total obsession - an extraordinary dynamic that can nourish and feed personal relations as well as the global family. Happy Valentine, dear heartS ♥♥♥

Ahimsa * Non Violence ~ Full Leo Moon conjunct Mars

Passion is seriously heightened over this full Leo Moon (10 degrees) on the weekend of January 30th (6:18 am), as la Luna joins forces with an aroused retrograde Mars. Whilst firing together in tandem excitement abounds, and as they oppose our spirited Aquarian Sun, which is in union with friendly Venus, fervour ignites. Bear in mind that emotions can overwhelm during any full Moon, but this one promises to be more ardent with the slightest spark making anyone hot under the collar. This could work for us or against us. The danger is that because of impatiently wanting react (even to aggression or criticism) we could become too egotistical, too self-orientated or selfish, and a delicate situation might escalate out of hand. Co-operation is called for if we want to enlist the help and support of partners and loved ones. Taming a Leo lion’s hungry heart is easier through love, confidence and trust – fear, fury or betrayal would only rouse tempers.
Going after what we want (as opposed to what we need) at the expense of others could also back-fire. A partner, loved one, or anyone else we meet is likely to be defensive if badly or wrongly challenged, and swiftly rise to the bait. When the Moon is with Mars, anger is all too easy to arise. The Buddhist take on anger is that it is not only one of the three poisons (ignorance and desire being the other two), but by allowing ourselves to lose our cool, we also prevent ourselves from seeing any situation clearly; it also wipes out, in one fell swoop, any good karma deposted in the karmic bank of heavenly merit. Angry responses also complicate already tricky situations. Luckily, the cosmos also now accents the antidote to any tantrums, which is quick thinking mindfulness allowing one to communicate clearly. For the Aquarian Sun is a cool and intellectual air sign, aware that all feelings and thoughts, opinions and ideas stem from the mind. Hence the stars also suggest we can have the ability to cut short any escalation of hurt or wrathful feelings, which might destroy further relations. Should you find yourself in the midst of an overheated situation over this weekend, look beyond external appearances. Ask yourself if others are reflecting frustration, resentment or something in you? And as non-violence, ‘Ahisma’, is the number one rule in yoga, take any confrontation as a cue to go inside for a moment. Tune into your breathing to note knots in the stomach, or heat rising in the body as a prelude to anger, or any other physical signs.
This Leo Moon says ‘Be Brave’ if someone (a family member, for example) starts to pick a fight, forgive and let it go. Be gentle with yourself and others for head and heart to align and create the kind of peace, love and understanding that all beings can benefit from. Also worth baring in mind is how anger, frustration and resentment can be worked off, temporarily, by getting physical in the gym or dance the night away. Leo is, after all, the sign of the best rip-roaring parties!
