☼ ✶☽ The purifying and healing power of this lunar cycle's Balsamic Virgo moon is phenomenally strong, as Lunar Dakini provides the Divine feminine's much- needed therapeutic touch in degenerate times.  With dedicated care and organization, negativity can now be banished into the void from whence it came.

✶ Among four celestial bodies in Scorpio (including asteroid Pallas Athena, strategic female policy maker) the fixed Scorpio Sun conjuncts Karmic Saturn. Lessons we learn from authoritative Saturn are always serious and important; in Scorpio, the issues tend to be emotionally charged and intense. And when the Sun meets Saturn light is shed upon profound and sometimes dark and difficult subjects, such as death and inheritance, letting-go and renewal. In astrology, the radiant Sun is symbol of the self, exuding warmth, confidence and courage. The Sun is still currently at home in these last degrees of fiery Leo, so you’d think we could all be shiny, happy people having fun. But during this past week or so, karmic Saturn has made tricky aspects to both Spirit Sun and the sensitive Moon making it feel like we are wading through treacle, slowing us down to focus upon what’s important, especially when trying to move ahead and create dynamic change. This is not to say we cannot manifest the transformations and adjustments we wish, but whenever task master Saturn is prominent, as it is for a while yet (to be conjunct active Mars with the New Virgo Moon August 25th) that we should be patient with tough karmic lessons, appreciating what we learn within each present moment, particularly when working towards goals.

At this last quarter exalted Taurus Moon, the Lights, the Leo Sun & Moon, encourage us to be realistic and return to source. ☼ ♌ SUNday’s 18degrees Aquarius Supermoon at 19:09 bst (10:09PST) may well lessen the chance to see the usually dramatic Persieds meteor shower this year (though it may still be possible to witness a long sky streak). Instead, the lights, the regal Leo Sun and egalitarian Aquarius Moon, encourage the reclamation of spiritual strength and power so that we can embrace the future with a happy heart, comfortable with our own personal responsibility.

Though there may well be obstacles, which are possibly even preceded by breakthroughs; and any sense of limitation needs to be addressed from a conscientious place of personal answerability. Throughout this next lunation, karma is multiplied 100x. Creating merit is encouraged. Karma is further multiplied 100billion x at the Saka Dawa Full Sagittarius Moon, bringing teachings to and from the cosmic Heart Guru.

The cosmic ring of fire that surrounds the New Taurus Moon SOLar eclipse early Tuesday morning at 7:13am BST (2:13pmEST) is only visible in the remote regions of southern Antarctica. Though a partial eclipse will be seen in Australia, as this feminine and fecund, earthy Taurus Sun Moon Mercury & Earth align with the powerful and karmic Dragon’s tail, otherwise known as ‘Ketu’ or the ‘south node’.

Astrology associates the Dragon’s tail to past-life energy and the often difficult influences/issues/states of mind – kleshas - we bring with us from previous incarnations. Buddhism notes three main kleshas as being attachment (desire), aversion (anger), and ignorance, from whence all our problems in this life, and past and future lives emit. Thus Ketu, currently conjunct and ruled by fiery Mars, retrograde and in fall in Libra, is Karma Control: In union with the sensuous Taurus Sun and Moon, Karma Control emphasizes the need to observe the aggressive desire nature and to be mindful of impulses.

‘Festival of Buddha’s Descent from Heaven'

KARMA MULITPLIED DAY (good or bad) x 10 million!

Lhabab Duchen is one of the four most important days in the Buddhist calendar. The 21st day of the 9th Tibetan month sees the celebration of Buddha’s return to the human realms from Indra’s Heaven; after spending three months and seven days in the sphere of the Deva’s, repaying his Mother’s kindness, liberating her and teaching the dharma. Buddha’s return to Earth (at the age of 41 – a Uranus oppostion, indicating a change of life) is considered to be one his eight great deeds.

From the feminine bliss realm (the realm of the 33, the Trayastrimsa) Buddha returned via a triple ladder, which was made by Vishvakarma, the Hindu god of architecture and machines. Built from gold, crystal and lapis lazuli, this triple ladder stretches all the way from Mount Meru to Earth (symbolic of illumination from crown chakra to base chakra, and the Tantrika using the central channel and right and left channels of the subtle body as vehicles for liberation).

At the appointed hour (on the Last Quarter Moon in Virgo, in definite aspect to the teaching Sagittarius Sun ) on the right-hand golden ladder appeared the all-powerful, all-seeing Bramha, with the fine form deities; on the left-hand crystal ladder came dorje-wielding Indra, with the Lords of the sensual worlds; while Buddha descended via the central lapis lazuli ladder, representing the middle path and an intimate relation with the realms of meditation, infinite space, and infinite consciousness; thus bringing protective wisdom of the Devas, from heaven to earth, the reborn Buddha illustrates how walking the Dharma path, the middle path, with loving kindness and compassion helps to overcomes ignorance and the duality of form and formless, nothing and everything.

☼ Phoenix rising ~~~> Sun leaves the Via Combusta _/♥\_☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶

At the astrological Samhain, 7th November, the Spirit of the life-giving Sun is renewed at 15 degrees of Scorpio, as consciousness rises like the Phoenix from the ‘Via Combusta’, the fiery path, having burnt to ashes all that is no longer necessary, in order to move forward (to the next Solar marker, Winter Solstice 21st).

The Sun is also now conjunct karmic Saturn, accenting that practice makes perfect, especially in regard to difficult and challenging tasks that require focus and experience. The trick is to knuckle down, take responsibility seriously, and not get despondent when faced with limitations and obstacles; because missions undertaken now bring great rewards when successful – it’s a hard job, but somebody has to do it.

On the plus side, friendly Venus just entered Capricorn, (Saturn’s sign) where she will stay until early March. This lengthy sojourn is due to her retrograde. And while this is considered a sobering position for the Love Goddess, at least it provides the opportunity to love one’s work, no matter how tough it may be.

New Moon Diwali Solar Eclipse ☾ ♏ ☼ 2013 Sunday 3rd November

The New Moon Solar Eclipse at 12 degrees Scorpio is the most potent New Moon of the year, as both Sun and Moon are with sobering Saturn and retrograde Mercury ~>  Call in protectors & set intentions wisely, as this Solar Eclipse is triple charged with a karmic mother-load, reminding us ‘what we sow, so shall we reap’.

From the tantric meditators point of view, during this particular eclipse subtle body sensitivity to unseen energy can at once highlight and/or clear kleshas (karmic imprints) in an instant, or at least chip away at old ‘stuff’ to lighten-up the way along the Dharma path. 

Meditators who work with the subtle body, channels and chakras, can, throughout this eclipse – and without identifying with ‘egoic mind’ – draw up from the Earth powerful healing Goddess energies through the central channel; at the same time, bring down through the crown with strong powers of visualisation a purifying insight that has the potential to release (past-life) habits and change thought patterns to alter direction and create dramatic transformation, all the while remaining grounded and stable at the base, bringing the Light out of from darkness, to radiate at the heart.

❂ Full Moon in Aries Lunar Eclipse _/♥\_ OCT13

KARMA MULTIPLIED DAY X7 million
Eclipses generally come in pairs: one solar, the other lunar. With a Lunar eclipse coming up on Friday/Saturday (18th-19th), the following eclipse in two weeks’ time is an even more powerful and rare hybrid Solar Scorpio eclipse, on November 3rd. Both the Lunar and Solar eclipse provide a magical portal, karmic gates for incoming and outgoing universal consciousness – bringing energies that create external and internal shifts, which are often dramatic (18-year) turning points. This particular eclipse could even cultivate a pristine awareness of our self in relation to benefiting others, especially if the degree of the eclipse constellates our own horoscope.

This weekend's Full Moon Lunar eclipse at 26 Aries is a penumbral lunar eclipse, with a slightly paler Moon that may be difficult to perceive the difference between a normally glowing 'Hunter's Moon', yet almost impossible not to feel, as La Luna governs emotions. And as a beauty-orientated Libra Sun aligns with the courageous Aries Moon, the heavens symbolize a dynamic motivation between self, abandoning clinging to the ego, in favour of social harmony; as the fiery Ram ignites the ‘light of life’ the Scales seek a heart balance between intrigue and the straightforward, the material and spiritual, Love and Light, so that a full expression of wisdom and compassion can freely develop.

Events and situations this weekend remind us that Love-Wisdom is, in fact, our innate glowing radiant Buddha nature. If mindful to harness soul-control, this eclipse is an optimum time to embrace the karmic law of cause and effect and transform base passion and desire into pure vibrant love.
