☽ Heart Fire & the Spirit of LOVEღ ~> Full Aquarius Moon Aug '19

Full Moon 22°24’ Aquarius 15th August 12:29UT

Passion and playfulness easily reach fever pitch when planets traverse the zodiacal sign of the theatrical and artistic Lion – just as the personal planets are presently doing. With a hot and fiery Leo Sun, Venus, Mercury, influential asteroid Juno, AND Mars, now upping daily drama all-the-while exuding a fierce inspiration that can also inspire joyful action, a warm heart and affectionate relations; as Leo ignites the creative spark within to connect with one’s inner child (as well as with children) for fun-packed activities, so talents and gifts can be explored and expressed. Essentially, making light of life and being with loved ones and friends and gathering under decidedly quirky Aquarian Full Moon beams (and shooting stars if you’re lucky) could be an extremely satisfying and entertaining cosmic order.

Our dynamic, life-giving Sun rules the zodiac sign Leo. So that when the Sun is at home in the regal Lion, the Heart Spirit is strengthened with courage and a centring cosmic ‘Light of Intelligence’. Sol’s light radiates a magical power so powerful that it can boost confidence and fuel an awareness of one-self that is mindful of our individual consciousness and what makes us feel happy and alive.

We are all energised by the Sun. And as the Solar Leonine Spirit projects an intense spotlight upon personal affairs, especially those matters of the heart and self-expression; the Aquarian Full Moon illuminates the need for freedom in love and romance, as well as the freedom to be individual by having one’s own ideas and emotions, particularly within groups of people, yet always aware of the unique gifts we bring to the greater whole.

Self love is also important. But not in an ego-maniac kind of way. More like loving and taking care of yourself is necessary before loving and taking care of others. Yet this mega Leo influence can be overbearing for some , as the Lion’s majestic manner can work pomp and ceremony to the max and escalate pride – even when undeserved: Leo can bestow solid self-belief and self-confidence. In either innocence or ignorance Leo can also hog the limelight and thoughtlessly overshadow everyone with his or her own artistic license, which is usually perfomed with style and pizzazz.

Bear in mind that quite apart from relationship planets circulating the sign of the solar system’s beating heart, as Leo accents how love makes the world go around, issues of loyalty and trust, freedom and fairness, humanity and humanitarian, could still also arise. One of the greatest challenges is to now embrace Leo’s ardent fieriness, at the same time keep an emotionally cool Aquarian view.

Emotional detachment is preferable to see clearly who we love, who loves us, and which of our friends are part of the ‘go-to team’; as well as those out to rip, clip, and zip plans, people and ideas for their own advantage. Dynamic Mars leads the Leo planets with Regulus, the brilliant fixed star which indicates success is only guaranteed by keeping integrity intact. And in these highly competitive technologically interconnected days, we are witnessing quite a few whose scruples can be called into question.

While we may find a place in our heart that allows us to forgive those who transgress, to let go and move on, the Sun with Venus indicates how ethics and principles are far more valuable than showing off a latest conquest.

When the Sun is conjunct Venus (on a mighty powerful Venus star point!) matters of the heart can take on a positive spin, particularly over this Full Moon, as the spirit of love infiltrates the soul in a seemingly reckless and anarchic way.

"When the power of love overcomes love of power the world will know peace." ~ Sri Chinmoy ~

Seriously. This is a wake-up-and-smell-the-coffee Full Moon and recognise how strong the power of love is when shared with humanity. This is also when love can be found in an instant – and when you least expect it. In a startling moment of looking into someone’s eyes, for instance, anyone’s eyes, friend or foe, lover or stranger, animal, insect or person, you could suddenly be jolted out of the permeable ego bubble to recognise the light of his or her consciousness, too. With such an encounter much can be revealed in the blink of the eye, showing especially what we truly value within, as well as what we think of others. These are the very moments the heartmind has a choice: to be generous and let the love-light of consciousness connect, or to close-down and turn away. Try and stay open to remain in your natural flow.

Either way, fear or greed can make living beings do crazy things. So be aware that while you may be busily spouting romantic poetry singing the praises of universal love, sweet love, there are others less so inclined, and are stuck thinking they need to prove themselves in any means necessary. Indeed, they may be bound by animal instinct.

Should you find yourself staring into the orbs of a (metaphoric) large Leo lion, however, who is charging towards you at forty miles an hour, it’s perfectly acceptable to not to feel the need for magical connections; and you would probably do well to hold your ground to pacify, whilst puffing-up to roar louder and look bigger than said threat. Even so, the love may still be there.

With the all-controlling Saturn, South Node and Pluto in Capricorn still holding on to a retrograde course and backwards thinking, it may well be in the few days before the Full Moon, when the Moon occults the currently extremely charismatic Saturn and stubborn South Node for the sixth time in a series of nine, that we begin to realistically note the obvious mountain of obstacles facing us individually and collectively; and how solutions resolutions are being blocked by that or those which feel entitled to do so. But at least we are now halfway through this gruelling series which seems to wreak of deja-vu, so that many are understanding the difficulties that lie ahead in the coming years, all of which the futuristic and globally aware Aquarian Full Moon now reflects.

Sensitive Luna also makes a fabulous Quintile (72°) to Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius; this is a magical aspect suggesting a daring kind of edginess that requires ingenuity when working together, for many hands to make light work, and for the global family to connect heart-to-heart when firing up the crystalline ‘light-grid’ in unusual and magical ways. Aquarius in connection to Uranus is also the sign of the ‘outsider’, the one who seems strange but exudes genius and eccentricity: the inventor.

In Esoteric Astrology, Aquarius is the hierarchical ruler of the Moon, meaning we are all ‘one’ living under the rays of the life-affirming Sun. Our aim is to live with selfless Aquarian awareness and grow the love that we naturally feel – a love that brings senses alive to be free, generous and kind. Basically, life is not about constant competition, but about working together to better the lives of all.

To help us do just that a Fire Trine that has been coming and going with various planets linking up to each throughout the run up this exciting and loving Full Moon. Also, The Sun at home in Leo, and three other planets currently ‘in domicile’, in signs in which they excel: Saturn in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces, are both still retrograde, taking time to digest how to work with pollution and suffering, while optimistic Jupiter goes forward in Sagittarius just as the Full Moon beings her three day culumination 14th August (15th exact, 16th disseminating). Jupiter’s move suggests morality can now again be seen to play a greater part in the ways that we govern our lives and minds, to help us grow and expand into our naturally light and wise state. (FYI: Saturn goes forward just after the Full Pisces Moon 18th September).

And while this Full Moon is what’s called a ‘see-saw’ chart, with two sides competing for dominance, it is the Sun and the personal planets which hold sway. As soon as lunar culminates she begins to wane towards the ‘Black New Virgo Moon’ (a Black Moon is the second New Moon of a calendar month) when ‘The Goddess of Perfection’ reveals ways towards some kind of stability within an solid Earth Trine.

Ultimately, this Full moon is one for tuning in and listening to the beating heart which keeps us on the move and in our flow, as plans change, people come and go, and hope for the future zaps in from leftfield and unexpected sources.

Remember to live for love and be the love wherever you can and enjoy the magic of sparkling Aquarian moonbeams.
Until next month, wishing you all happiness and BIG LOVE x

☾ Activate a Generous Heart & Find Freedom in Creativity ~ Lunar Eclipse July 27th 2018

Full Moon 4.44° Aquarius Friday 27th July @20:18UT

······
“A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are things which renew humanity.” ~ The Golden Rule Revolution (Elaine Parkes)

A destiny-fulfilling, hot and passionate, fiery Full Blood Moon is a Total Lunar Eclipse on Friday, 27th July 2018, the longest eclipse of the century and the second in a rare series of three eclipses. Astrologically aligned in the signs Leo and Aquarius, this eclipse encourages an in depth exploration of both heart AND mind. The first of this unusual eclipse series began with a karmic gate opening the very essence of our spirit with the New Cancer Moon 12th July; the third is an inspired Leo New Moon, August 11th. Indeed, it is not until 2020 do we next encounter a similar set of triple eclipses – from when it is an even longer wait until 2027 and the next time this concentrated ‘power-of-three’ astronomical alignment takes place - the last was 2013. You get the picture: this eclipse season opens a very special kind of psychic Star Gate – through which one can have a clear and open view of ‘self’ in relation to one’s fellow travellers on spaceship Earth. Whether one actually musters up the mettle to go through this magical portal in order to evolve, connect heart to heart to the ‘higher’ self and other kindred spirits and make dramatic changes in one’s life will depend upon a level of personal courage and collective clarity – and how easily one can handle an arrogant ego and the unpredictable way of things.

·✰··☾☼☽··✰·

As the radiant light of the majestic Leo Sun conjuncts the North Node, aka the Dragon’s Head, or Rahu, the celestial spotlight dramatically highlights watershed moments and crucial turning points (at the 4 degree marker of Leo and Aquarius). Think back: did you step through another ‘Star Gate’ approximately 9 and/or 18 years ago? Measure how you have developed and grown to get an idea of how to handle a potentially similar circumstance. The difference between past critical periods and now is how the life-giving Sol is currently in league with Pallas Athena, one of the larger asteroids representing female creativity with spectacular strategies. Pallas Athena suggests a strong feminine force can influence a future that impacts upon larger group activities. Her support is invaluable in being able to assess and sway not only what we may personally be going through, but how transparent are mutual social concerns and, perhaps more importantly, who is now willing to become a people’s champion.

Pallas Athena’s presence at the heart of this eclipse indicates it is the valour and strength of the intelligent warrior woman that aids present planning which can lead to major breakthroughs. While this may be taken literally as in having a female advisor, such as a young daughter gifting words of wisdom to her father, or just by tuning into and listening to our own sensitive ‘feminine’ side in an impartial manner; when we affiliate with the feminine we can more easily determine the selfish from the selfless and provide the kind of support called for in exciting but volatile times. Pallas Athena currently seeks to heal and transform passion, drive and aggression through art, love and romance, adding a decidedly feminine touch to the Leo-ruled Sun’s fiery yang.  (Its also been brought to my attention how Athens is also burning :( prayers of love and healing are being sent from my side)

Opposite the Sun is the Yin Moon, with the South Node, aka the Dragon’s Tail, or Ketu; whenever the Moon is conjunct Ketu there’s often a sense of déjà vu, sometimes facing challenging emotions and situations we have been through before (either due to past life or just a previous similar situation). And so it appears a confrontation with past karma is staring right at us now, upfront and personal.

☆ As the sensitive Moon is also conjunct a retrograde Mars it is time to release and let go of destructive emotions (anger, greed, jealousy, hatred, doubt) that hold us back (in time), and learn how to be at our best at home, at work, and those with whom we are in daily contact without being abusive, pushy, argumentative, or creating explosive conflict which, due to the current backward movement of Mars, the astral God of War, would probably backfire anyway.

Currently on the back-foot, Mars is also involved in a protracted four-month long aspect, with Uranus in a hard, three-hit whammy. Having a reputation for left-field brilliance, Uranus rules the wacky and wonderful Altruistic Aquarius, the sign of this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. Together, Mars and Uranus signify explosive and sudden snaps and cracks out of the blue and flashes of insight. Both Uranus and Aquarius are also symbols of extremes. So while there are Aquarian types who live for freedom and liberation from suffering, always acting for the benefit of humanity and all sentient beings, there are also others who, for whatever reason, create chaos and disruption with the same kind of zeal. Whether madness or magical, edgy chaos is compounded by the Sun’s tight square to Uranus July 25th, extending into a Fixed ‘T-Square’ with the Full Moon and Mars.

Tension is high, particularly in busy zappy places with large groups of people. Watch-out as nerves fray and tempers bubble and boil. Note how the dynamic hot-head Mars remains in backward motion until the end of August, when it dips back from spacy Aquarius into realistic Capricorn, its sign of exaltation. This means that even though assertive Mars is currently ‘out-of-bounds’, i.e. unpredictable and unruly, and features as a main protagonist in this intense eclipse horoscope, it is actually slow and in retreat. Defence mechanisms now need to be reviewed. Duck and cover if necessary. Negative forces may seem to be on the rise, but taking time out to assess the state of opponents (real, or ego’s psychological demons) and how to make the most from potential new positions can be a sign of strength, not surrender. Come the August 11th eclipse, Mars could be slightly more powerful due to its’ executive Capricorn qualities – but still I would not advise starting fights or getting involved in contentious mud-slinging, even if having to stand one’s ground.

In the actual night sky a retrograde fiery red Mars is an amazing sight to behold, however (Along with all the other seven planets now visible-to-the-naked-eye!). Build strength and stamina and put some iron in your soul when contemplating the scarlet planet at the zenith of the mid-night heavens these next couple of months; the closeness of Mars during such a long sojourn in Aquarius (since May16th) creates perfect viewing conditions. After two months of being in apparent backward motion, dynamic Mars goes forward on the 28th August. As the planet of action, Mars symbolises the feisty and furious, fighting to make one’s mark is not the same as carefully defending what you believe requires protection (which is why Mars is exalted in no-nonsense Capricorn). In any event throughout this Leo eclipse season bear in mind that "Hatred will not cease by hatred, but by love alone. This is the ancient law."  ~ Buddha
☆ Although progress may be short-lived, needing to be repeated to firm-up any advances, because, and just to complicate the current celestial climate Mercury, the heaven’s courier, is retrograde over this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse too! Regular C*I*A readers know the Mercury retrograde drill: double check, triple check and even quadruple check all forms of communication and timetables, especially missives appertaining to spiritual aspirations, personal ambitions, art, creativity, parties and children, LOVE and romance! Is there anything worse than having a hot date turn-up at the wrong time or place?! Lovers beware: timing is crucial. Also, it’s good to take extra-care of personal details during this Mercury retro period. Data hungry Mercury accents the need to understand the importance of one’s own facts and files and the position held within certain (obscure) technological systems that may now be aired and investigated.

Cloaked in the fire of wisdom, Mercury is fairly close to the Sun (19°) during this eclipse. Reading as an individual’s horoscope, I would extend the orb of contact and associate the wily planet of the mind, medicine and messages, with the heart-centred power of the Sun; and, as Mercury is also in the sign of the brave hearted Lion, it is therefore under the beams of the Solar Spirit’s essential position of regal Leo dignity. The mercurial messenger is going back all the way to 11° Leo (on the 19th August), not quite to the same degree as the Full Moon, but close to Pallas Athena’s current position, so carefully assessed planning could be the key when unlocking the codes to the illusive Star Gate.
Stay cool, cosmic friends. How we communicate with others is vital to getting needs met. Trickster Mercury has many modes of communication. Roar like the Leo lion if you want to alienate; but dialogue and listening and taking others feelings, thoughts and plans into consideration will avoid admiration turning into contempt. For when meetings are entered into with the spirit of respect and compromise, and with the manners of a Sun King, there’s a greater chance of cooperation so that all parties have happier future prospects.

•°*☾⊕☽ *°•.☆

As the Solar cosmic wheel turns in Sun-ruled Leo, it reaches the half-way cross-quarter point of Fixed Fire, fanned by Aquarian Air. Aquarius is a future-orientated sign; and this Aquarian Full Moon Red Eclipse next to Scarlet Mars will no doubt prove to be memorable moment to carry well into the Equinox.

Remember to set the innovative Aquarian altruistic intention, aware that during an eclipse all kinds of energies swirl in and out of the nodal vortex, as Sun, Moon and Earth will align for Earth to block out the light of the Sun. So that when we see a coppery red Moon we can align our heart-mind to the inventive creative spirit and be true to our soul’s resonance.

Coming to end of this report it’s worth noting how this Eclipse is visible from quite a large land mass. Only the USA doesn’t get to see it, yet the West Coast of America is among the places of stress and geophysical tension, along with the Middle East, Japan, China, and Brazilian Coast.

It is also the Indian ‘Guru Purnima’, the Full Moon honouring  Spiritual Teachers who guide across time and space. Ending this Full Moon astro report with a heartfelt ‘Namaste’ to Indian readers and teachers (*hands together in prayer mode at the heart and with a deep bow*), love and astral blessings to all from Astro Agent Dakini, until next month Rumi has the last word, “Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.”

☾ Three things cannot be hidden: the Moon, the Sun and the Truth.

7th August Lunar Full Moon Partial Eclipse

15° Leo Sun – Aquarius Moon @18:11UT

········

“Three things cannot be hidden: the Moon, the Sun and the Truth.” ~ Buddha

Over the coming weeks, during a spectacular eclipse season, the triple fold energy of Sun, Moon, and the truth, or at least the freedom to discover, speak and understand our truth comes to light in a dramatic and unpredictable fashion. A Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius indicates are now entering a period of surprises and exposés. Get ready now: prepare to open a generous heart to all that is genuine and sometimes seemingly crazy but decidedly real – and then implement any insight gained or revelations experienced for the benefit of others, as well as yourself. Then you, too, can learn to be naturally happy - which sounds simple enough, though a sustained effort of self-awareness to live in authentic presence – with dignity, integrity, and poise, now takes a rebellious kind of ethical discipline that also knows when its ‘right’ to bend oppressive rules in favour of benefitting the greater whole.

✰ From the astrological point of view, when our dynamic electro-magnetic Sun flashes and sparkles in the fiery sign of Leo, the solar systems’ astral authority is said to be in a favourable position, delighted to be ‘at home’ in its own domain, as Leo’s natural inclination is to emanate happiness with a steadfastly warm and loving glow. This golden luminous light is potentially at the heart of all Leo activity, boundless in both energy, and supply. As such, the congenial and dominant sign Leo is associated with creative self-expression, children and fun, art and parties, as well as all-important love and romance.
✰ Radiant Leo shines upon the part of our life and personality we consider central, i.e. Leo illuminates authority (personal, as well as the boss) and ‘the core self’, our ego identity and, on the higher vibration, our light-filled spirit. Fellow Buddhist or Vedanta readers might clamour here to say ‘But there is no Spirit, no ‘self’.’. Ultimately they would be correct: in that we are all made up of stardust as a bunch of densely vibrating atoms (made up of 99% space!), with relative sense perceptions that make it seem like the personality is solid and real. But when we actually look for the ‘conscious self’, consciousness itself is nowhere to be found. In our material world we cannot actually put our finger upon that essential sense of self anywhere, not in the brain or in the mind. What we do know about our conscious spirit, however, is that when that our heart aligns with an authentic purpose, strong in truth, then the ‘real self’ - our most natural shining nature - blazes brilliantly.  And this is exactly what the passage of the Sun in Leo and the powerful eclipses encourage us all to do: embrace all our magical gifts and talents and glisten and shimmer with a heartfelt glow.

☾☼☽Eclipses generally come in pairs, one Lunar, the other Solar, two weeks apart. During this Full Moon partial Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius on Monday 7th (and ensuing Leo Solar Eclipse, 21st August), it’s as though that internal dimmer switch suddenly flickers to be turned full-on, possibly for a good few weeks, flashing golden neon during the New Moon Solar Eclipse. Subtle energies are always more pronounced during eclipses, so one must learn how to protect oneself psychically as well as physically. Therefore surround yourself with friends and loved ones who have your best interests at heart. At peak eclipse moments not only can the third eye twinkle (with a potentially vibrant crown chakra), but a certain edge of consciousness is also illuminated, enlightening never-seen-before corners within the psyche, previously shadowed by fear or doubt. It is these very insights that will help when dealing with the random outside events eclipses stir up.
However wild the weekend preceding the Monday Full Moon eclipse (on Moon day!), it could be helpful to note how this Lunar Eclipse is partial; i.e. nowhere on Earth does Luna become totally red. Instead, there will be penumbral shading at the Southern tip of the Moon, seen as peachy-pink more clearly over Asia for 30 minutes at the peak within the two hour length of time this eclipse takes to complete. And whilst the internet is focused upon the very exciting US total Solar New Moon Eclipse August 21st, this partial Lunar Eclipse sets the tone, only slightly lower-key; and is visible in Asia, Australia, Africa and Europe. Though Europe will have partial penumbral view at Moonrise, unless Europeans (not you Brits!) are Moon-bathing with a horizon in view, it won’t actually look that different.

And because the Sun is next to dynamic Mars in Leo during this eclipse, (as well as Ketu, South Node, Dragon’s Tail (from where Leo Mars likes to rattle sabres and bark orders)) this Full Eclipse Moon is cosmically bound to be dramatic. It’s also worth bearing in mind how, in Elemental Astrology, a Southerly direction shadowed (by the Earth) on the Moon, is associated with the colour red, the shape of the triangle, the zodiac signs Aries & Leo, as well as fire and lightening. Also, because this Lunar Eclipse is aligned along the Leo-Aquarius axis it awakens 2017’s Fire Phoenix, to ignite the wisdom flame in both mind and heart, to burn the dross and rise from the ashes reborn, with virtue of Spirit restored ~~~> Think back to this time last year, and note how your own creative spark of loving kindness has conquered fears in your own life, purely by creating fresh new outlooks.
Leo is a ‘personal’ sign in astrology because of its concerns with individual expression. By contrast Aquarius tends towards collective experience, team events and group activity. So while the co-operative revolutionary Aquarian Moon reflects Leo’s individual LoveLight, it’s conceivable that we, as a collective, have some kind of ‘Eureka!’ moment, when clarity and truth suddenly slot into place. The trick is not to distract each other with theatrics or talk that alienate self from others, or indeed sever the mind from one’s own intricate network of emotions. Use any original insight gained at this time to better all relations, specifically those with whom we consider our fellow kindred spirits, and you won’t be sorry. In fact, you will be empowered.

The Sun at home in the sign of the Lion also boosts personal confidence. The Lion enables one to remain steadfast strong and determined, so that we can impart playful, good-hearted cheerfulness with unconditional warmth in all our affairs. The Leo Sun also symbolises monarchs and rulers; and the quality of light of those who govern in positions of power can determine the joy of his or her subjects; just as the regal Sun radiates upon Earth to give life with light and heat, a good leader is warm and kind.

A strong Leo Sun also adds distinctive dignity and power to any given situation. So if there was ever a moment to build strength, stay strong, and sound your own horn and big-up oneself, especially about what you personally add to enhance relationship – in love, business or friendship – as well as to any group situation, this may well be the Full Aquarian Moon to celebrate successes as both Lights, Sun & Moon, are in good aspect to Jupiter, the planet of triumph and jubilation.

And this is all well and good BUT shocking in swiftness and extremity, it’s also a Full Moon Eclipse in radical Aquarius, when the exact opposite of what is expected is almost cosmically bound to happen, as Earth blocks the Leo LoveLight of Sun for the Aquarian Moon to reflect. All the while Sun has celestial back-up in any current situation, being conjoined to a fire-cracker Mars in Leo; there may be stiff competition to out-shine and out-perform, on stage or off.  Try now to understand how speed is aggression and that being a part of competition is not the same as only partaking to win. When playing the game of life, to align in truth makes it easier to rest in a spacious loving heart and find contentment within.

You are warned: Aquarian Moons can be edgy and electric. Being put on the spot may be the moment for personal development to take centre stage – even if it means looking at traits and aspects (of our self) we would consider bombastic, bossy or disjointed. Remember at all times how we need to be fearless when bringing love to light. The Sun-Mars conjunction in trine to Saturn in Sagittarius (stationed on the Galactic Centre, to go forward in the days following the Solar Eclipse (26th August)) will remind us that loving bravely takes courage, as well as faith – and a capacity to work together under trying circumstance. Even behind a façade of bravado, this is a time to treasure those friends who reveal your weaknesses and faults, for they offer you the real gift of truly knowing oneself.
✰ Another important astrological feature to include in this eclipse comes hot on the heels of a third and final (closing) square between Jupiter and Pluto (to conjunct 2020), accenting how the power of love really does transform, just as easily as secrets can expand power bases. Not everyone needs to know your business. Both, the 7th’s Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse, and the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse on the 21st, are cosmically bound to generate defining moments in our collective stories, with power-plays acted out internally as well as in the mundane world. Be aware how eclipses always mark dramatic pivotal points, watershed moments when the course of ideas, actions and emotions, as well as history, can suddenly turn and flow towards a dramatically different direction. So check this mid-season 15° fixed points of Leo and Aquarius in your own scope to gauge how critical crossroads impact your own life. If you’re old enough to remember look back 19-ish years, and get an idea of how this eclipse cycle influences.
From a mundane point of view, we may also witness sudden U-turns with governments and bosses. Because this freedom-loving Aquarian moon highlights those in authority who dictate by ‘do as I say and not as I do’, (often done in order to divide and rule) are best avoided. Take note: commanders who self-serve do not have other’s best interests at heart. Better to oversee one’s own world now and discover the sovereignty of fairness and equality that comes about from curtailing personal ego, especially by being of service to humanity.

✰ Make no mistake, the Dragon’s Head, North Node in Leo, Rahu is rising: hot, fiery and tempestuous. In ancient times people would often stay indoors to try and avoid conflicts and/or the effects of an eclipse. While monastics meditate, the lay drum and dance to scare away negative effects of losing light. Indeed, it may well be that looking at a darkened Moon, or Sun (only looked at with eclipse glasses or else risk blindness) invites confusion, and in some rare cases, with a new moon solar eclipse, bring out the oddball eccentrics en masse.

Wherever you may be August 7th, at work, home, or with friends, when the light of the brilliant Leo Sun is reflected by the group-orientated Moon in Aquarius – as it is during this Full Moon, the potential to find ones’ place – and feel assured and poised in that position – also means recognising the unique gifts we personally bring to the greater whole. So be aware: within team-work, or even working individually, a special talent could now easily surface. Exciting times for personal evolution!

✰ Two more points of esoteric astrological significance compound the need to balance self-love with that of others during this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse:

1)  In Esoteric astrology the Moon has an Aquarian Hierarchical rulership, meaning ‘the Aquarian Light that shines on Earth across the sea’ is of great import; i.e. the Noosphere, or the Unified Biofield buzzes with potentiality. Aquarius is future orientated; so any personal sensitivity is best be directed towards altruism, making the world a better place, without being cold-hearted but seeing all beings as equal.

2)  Also in Esoteric astrology, the Spirit of the Sun ‘veils’ Uranus, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, indicating how the clarity of ‘the self’ thrives when with one’s peers or in collective situations. The aspiration to identify with accomplishments is also heightened.

✰ All of this just as Uranus begins a retrograde motion, August 3rd, only turning direct New Year’s Day 2018! Thus, for the rest of the year Uranus retrograde in Aries inflames the 2017 year of the Phoenix Fire Bird’s Grand Fire trine, taking place between the Leo North Node (Dragon’s Head) and Saturn in Sagittarius to spark the passionate flames of creative love. Indeed, Uranus makes a final exact trine to Saturn 11:11, providing spacial awareness that opens a powerful portal for heroic inner-work, for the spiritual warrior who generates altruism to galvanize and inspire, bravely lighting the way for others on the path.
✰ The last point to mention on this extended Full Moon Eclipse report concerns Mercury retrograde on 13th August, going back from Virgo into Leo, to pick up the exact degree of the Solar Eclipse 21st August! Both the Celestial Messenger and the Sun will accent the bight Fixed Royal Star, Regulus, at the heart of the Lion. Unbridled success can be enjoyed under this star, and is phenomenal – if only for a short time, as missions can dramatically fail should revenge, pride or arrogance be primary motivation.  Suffice to say that whatever theatrics take place during these coming weeks (timed since July 24th), there’s every chance we will still be talking about (whatever) the situation well into the Autumn Equinox.

Upon closing I wish everyone to have a wonderful Full Moon and Eclipse season. With LoveLight from Agent Dakini (who still has a few places left for retreats in Southern France –> press here!) and a big THANK YOU to HymalayanTrader for wonderful Buddha with Dragons illustration thangka _/\_
And remember in all this Leo love action:
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.”
