◯ Sun in Scorpio ~ Full Moon in Taurus 4 degrees @ 13:05GMT

☆ •°*☾ ◯☽ *°•.☆
☆ Highlighting clarity and wisdom, practicality and the appreciation of simple pleasures such as food, love, and enough money to get our needs met, this exalted Moon in Taurus, comes with many names, each befitting the region she heralds from, and each offering an emotional anchor we can moor to in this choppy sea of Samsara.

☆ Often this Halloween Full Moon is called ‘the Ivy Moon, the Samhain Moon, or the Hunter’s Moon. As leaves on the trees have fallen and nights are dark (in the Northern Hemisphere), in reverence to the western Goddess we call her Diana, or Artemis, the ‘Goddess of the Hunt’. Artemis is the bringer of Light, caring for children, women and the environment, and selflessly sharing her bounty.

☆ In the East, this is the Full Moon to honour Laxmi, ‘Goddess of Abundance ’, giving thanks for wealth and a plentiful harvest.

☆ In the Buddhist tradition, this is the Moon when Lord Buddha agrees to leave the realm of the 33, the Divine realm of the Devas (Heavenly realm of Goddesses), where he had returned to teach and repay the kindness to his Mother (for giving him the precious human rebirth). Buddhists commemorate his decent in a weeks’ time, November 3rd, to become one of the most important days of our Buddhist lunar calendar, as Buddha’s actions represent the transformation that happens in death, so befitting the Scorpio Sun, the sign which represents the never-ending cycle of life, death and rebirth.

☆ Image is of a Nepali Goddess, Vasudhara, who often compared to Laxmi for they share the same gifts which the supplicant offer treasure, both real and spiritual.

Today and tomorrow, therefore, are days to honour the Goddess, with flowers, prayers, light and ℒℴѵℯ _/✿\_ ◯☆•*¨*•.¸¸

Give thanks for all you have. And remember, if you have a food and a roof over your head you are among the world's richest 25%

ॐ Dakini Day ॐ_/♥\_ॐ_/♥\_ॐ_/♥\_ Nov17th 2014

☼ ✶☽ The purifying and healing power of this lunar cycle's Balsamic Virgo moon is phenomenally strong, as Lunar Dakini provides the Divine feminine's much- needed therapeutic touch in degenerate times.  With dedicated care and organization, negativity can now be banished into the void from whence it came.

✶ Among four celestial bodies in Scorpio (including asteroid Pallas Athena, strategic female policy maker) the fixed Scorpio Sun conjuncts Karmic Saturn. Lessons we learn from authoritative Saturn are always serious and important; in Scorpio, the issues tend to be emotionally charged and intense. And when the Sun meets Saturn light is shed upon profound and sometimes dark and difficult subjects, such as death and inheritance, letting-go and renewal. Marking boundaries and being more disciplined and responsible may help to operate easily within a framework that transforms challenging circumstance into stabilized, workable situations.  Good time to get real and tidy-up one's act.

Be ready for the New Moon at 0Sag on the 22nd, which brings enthusiasm, hope and truth to the fore…. ~~>

Happy Dakini Day! _/\_

☆ Full Taurus Moon ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶❤

☆ •°*☾ ◯☽ *°•.☆
Tonight’s intense Full Moon in Taurus @ 22:22 GMT (double master numbers!) highlights our need to feed spirit and soul, heart and mind, with nourishing food, ideas, and feelings that strengthen and encourage our natural, inner-radiance to shine.

Spirit Sun in Scorpio also conjuncts Venus, the sensual Love Goddess and ruler of Taurus, doubling the emphasis upon beauty and joy and LOVE’s transformational power, as well as offering insight into our personal and shared values, and all the heart holds dear.

Remember that only Love conquers Fear. And that self-love is as important as loving others. In the words of Stevie Wonder “If you can’t love yourself, who can you love?”

☾ Healing Halloween Medicine Buddha Moon _/ ૐ \_ Oct31st 2014

☆ •°*☾ Scorpio Sun & 1st quarter Moon Aquarius ☽ *°•.☆

Honoring ancestors, as well as the recently departed, tonight’s Halloween festival venerates the profound emotions of Scorpio, sign of death and rebirth. Over the next few days and nights, during this month of regenerative Scorpio, the veils thin between the worlds of the living, those passed and those yet to come; as the hallowed souls of those gone beyond bequeath a reminder of magic and mystery, and the connections to kindred spirits enhance psychic abilities, intuitive insight and prophetic dreams.

So when looking up and around to see if any witches are flying on broomsticks, or Kinkara* dancing the cremation grounds, also note a beautiful First Quarter healing Medicine Moon, gliding across the starry firmament like a golden offering bowl, brimming with unconditional compassion. In Aquarius, this First Quarter Halloween Moon accents the human soul’s capacity for tremendous restoration by delving into the beauty, joy and meaning of life, in all its intensity. Reap now the blessings of the departed, knowing spirit never dies, but in the never ending cycle of life, death and rebirth, it is the essential spirit which only transforms.

May all souls, saints and spirits be happy and healed, now and always, with ℒℴѵℯLiGHt

◯ ♉ Taurus Full Moon ~ Festival of The Light of the Gods ♏ ☼ Kartik Poornima

The Full Moon at 26 Taurus, 15:16 GMT (12:16EST), November 17th, is an exalted moon – meaning this is the best possible sign for the emotional Moon to be in, providing stability in the midst of an incredible transformation. This moon radiates feminine wisdom, encouraging clarity and insight into the shadowy issues of control and desire, obsession and greed. Now is the time to be brave, get grounded, and leave no stone unturned when dealing with personal peccadilloes. As the Moon Goddess now displays a discerning wisdom which helps one to overcome the insatiable craving which self-cherishing fixates upon. At the same time this combined celestial experience of earthy Taurus and insightful Scorpio provides the opportunity to determine that which is wholesome and nourishing, for the spiritual warrior to uproot any negative emotion that obscures the realisation of ultimate and conventional truth.

Sun & Moon are also in good relation to the Cosmic Guru, Jupiter, planet of truth and freedom, affording an overview of a greater plan (in conventional terms that could take until March to implement or move to another stage). Jupiter is also currently exalted and retrograde in the water sign Cancer; and, interestingly, it is the Water element which is honoured during this Festival of the Light of the Gods, by making light offerings to water and libation to rivers, pools and oceans, there is a powerful symbolism of purifying and healing, releasing and renewing, and connecting to all that has gone before and all that is.

As light illuminates darkness, this is THE Full Moon revered by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists alike - although for different reasons, the reverence held for this Moon Festival of The Light of the Gods shows the profound power and depth of devotion and feeling during this fixed and determined combination of ‘The Lights’: Sikhs commemorate the birth of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism; Hindus celebrate Kartik Poornima, the triumph of Shiva over the Tripuri, three cities overrun by Demons; for the Jains it is the Full Moon Festival of Light that comes after Diwali; for Buddhists it is the Moon when Lord Buddha accepts the invitation by one of his disciples to return to Earth from the realms of the Devas, the realms of the Thirty-Three, where he went to repay the kindness show by his Mother, and to teach her the Dharma (in the realms of the Goddess), which he does at the upcoming Last Quarter Moon. Thus, on Sunday the 24th of November, Buddhists the world over celebrate the rebirth of Lord Buddha, as one of the four most important days in our calendar.

Until then, receive the Full Moon blessings, and enjoy the clarity offered by this Moon of many names, Dark Moon, Tree Moon, White Moon, Snow Moon, Beaver Moon, Trading Moon, the Moon that celebrates The Light of the Gods.

Grand Water Trine ~ Guru Rinpoche Day November 12th __/♥\__

When the almighty Spirit Sun passes through the powerful sign Scorpio, it signifies a deep and extraordinarily insightful time, when touching moments are laden with poignant beginnings and endings that tend towards a some kind of rebirth: psychological, spiritual, or physical. And now, on Guru Rinpoche Day, as water signs Scorpio Sun and Pisces Moon work beautifully together with another strong and helpful planet Jupiter, the Cosmic Guru – also in fellow water sign Cancer (where he is exalted), they create a fluid and receptive ‘Grand Water Trine’.

While a Grand Water Trine encourages one to go inwards to explore the world of the imagination, this particular trinity is also spiritually expansive, showering blessings and generating hope and compassion which can only enhance Scorpio’s discerning skill, to bring about greater understanding of life’s magic and mysteries. Today may well be one of those days when it’s easier to be in one’s flow and synchronicity abounds.

The sensitive Moon is also the emotional anchor in today’s sky. So instead of being swept away by overwhelming feelings, transform negativity into positive action, and give thanks for all the goodness in life; by dedicating this beauty to the benefit of all sentient beings, we find stability within the compassion heart. __/♥\__

Spooky & Spacy ~> Medicine Buddha Moon in Aquarius ♒

First Quarter Medicine Buddha Moon in Aquarius ♒ in square to Spirit Sun in Scorpio ♏ _/\_ Spooky & Spacy!

When ‘The Lights’ are in this decidedly ‘fixed’ combination for a Medicine Buddha - Tara Puja Moon, we can hold the healing on course; improving at the same time as going deeper into the currently profound (psychic) transformation, the Aquarian influence awakens one to the often quirky alternative. Now is therefore the time to welcome any flashes of inspiration: new connections, new ideas, and new groups of people who can energise the soul, giving a feeling of cooperation that raises awareness, as well as the all-important altruistic intention.

Also, good news today, as Mercury, planet of information and communication is going forward to day (hooray!). All kinds of shared issues and agreements now get the go-ahead. This has been quite a difficult retrograde, teaching patience as well as enhancing insight, as all kinds of secrets, desires, and power games came to light. It might be worth noting that particularly tough issues may not even see a resolution until Mercury conjuncts Saturn again, for the third time in two months, November 26th. Until then take inspiration from Leo Tolstoy in War and Peace he says “The strongest of all warriors are these two — Time and Patience.”

Prayers going out to all those in need right who are now suffering, especially to those caught up in the wake of Typoon Haiyan in the Philippines, and all those trapped in war, want, and hunger ~ May they soon find relief __/♥\__

☼ Phoenix rising ~~~> Sun leaves the Via Combusta _/♥\_☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶

At the astrological Samhain, 7th November, the Spirit of the life-giving Sun is renewed at 15 degrees of Scorpio, as consciousness rises like the Phoenix from the ‘Via Combusta’, the fiery path, having burnt to ashes all that is no longer necessary, in order to move forward (to the next Solar marker, Winter Solstice 21st).

The Sun is also now conjunct karmic Saturn, accenting that practice makes perfect, especially in regard to difficult and challenging tasks that require focus and experience. The trick is to knuckle down, take responsibility seriously, and not get despondent when faced with limitations and obstacles; because missions undertaken now bring great rewards when successful – it’s a hard job, but somebody has to do it.

On the plus side, friendly Venus just entered Capricorn, (Saturn’s sign) where she will stay until early March. This lengthy sojourn is due to her retrograde. And while this is considered a sobering position for the Love Goddess, at least it provides the opportunity to love one’s work, no matter how tough it may be.

Like a hopeful Phoenix reborn from flames, shine on beloved friends __/\__ ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶

✴️ Dark Moon Halloween ~> 2013

Some moments are more enchanted and potent than others. At Halloween, when the veil between visible upper and unseen lower worlds is thinnest, mythical skeletons dance across the skies, and witches wing by on Birch tree brooms, it tends towards a magical time that gets deep, edgy, and powerful.  Halloween holds a mystical magic that can transform in a dream-like instant, purely by honoring the ancestors and all that has gone before - and by being ready for a dramatic renewal. And as tonight’s is a Dark Moon Halloween, it’s advisable to call upon our protectors, totems and guides, and all that can help the Spiritual Warrior maintain emotional balance, which is specifically important when crossing the karmic threshold of the fixed and focused New Moon Scorpio Solar Eclipse, November 3rd.

Bear in mind that while we are now at the peak of the on-going 3-year Uranus-Pluto square (more on that tomorrow), astrological Halloween is actually November 7th, when the Sun is at degree where we officially pass through the ‘Via Combusta’, a.k.a. ‘The Fiery Path’, when Spirit rises like a proverbial phoenix out of the ashes.
All the while we have a myriad of sacred geometry providing anchors for practical magic, and heavenly pointers to where the fates are flying:

The ‘Kite’ formation harnesses a ‘Grand Earth Trine’ stimulating recuperative and regenerative conservation of resources; with the Dragon’s Tail (South Node) implementing the healing energies we bring with us, which can also be used in the future.

A ‘Mystic Rectangle’, made up of only helpful aspects, suggests spiritual stability throughout this eclipse period, until November 8th.

The ‘Finger of God’, pointing to Uranus, planet of awakening altruism for the next couple of days, with the life-giving Sun and destiny-fulfilling North Node (Dragon’s Head), in the sign of renewal and shared assets, joining forces with Mars in Virgo, sign of healing and discernment.  All this suggests many are currently creating intrepid communities, forming Sangha and affinities with kindred spirits, individuals who feel also the need to support others in this time of dramatic change to power structures and resources.

Happy Halloween everyone!

✴️ Insightful Purification ~> Dakini Day October 29th 2013 _/♥\_

With laser like perception, Spirit Sun in Scorpio now makes a most harmonious aspect to the wholesome and thoughtful Virgo Moon. Such a combination of ‘The Lights’ encourages eagle-eyed discernment which the organised mind can apply to purifying defiled states of consciousness, changing habits of a lifetime, improving diet, as well as clearing physical space, removing emotional obstacles and freeing psychic karma. Today is optimum, therefore, to prepare for the transformational Solar Eclipse November 3rd, and patiently eliminate that which no longer serves the Divine Feminine, or the sensitive side of oneself, male or female, and generate the inner purity that experiences the vast expanse of spiritual liberation.

In the words of Thich Nhat Hanh “Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything - anger, anxiety, or possessions - we cannot be free.”

☆ 'Tara Moon’ ~> Medicine Buddha puja _/♥\_ Oct 26th

Perceptive Scorpio Sun squares tonight’s Last Quarter Leo Moon, suggesting the Goddess, Tara, draws upon lion heart strength to quickly overcome obstacles. Leo Moon self-generates courage and generosity, directing a powerful healing. In combination with Scorpio’s focus and insight, the potential for ‘The Lights’ to illuminate deep and hidden resources means even difficult and negative, selfish emotions and ambitions can now be rooted out, creatively released, and transformed into love…

In the words of Mingyur Rinpoche ~>

“When you transform your mind, everything you experience is transformed.”

…And prepare the heart-mind for a powerful karmic renewal at the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio, Nov 3rd (which is preceded by the fourth of the seven Uranus Pluto squares 1st November – more on that to come _/\_ )

Lha Bab Düchen 2012 __/❤\__ Buddha descent from the realms of the 33

November 6th ~ Lha Bab Düchen __/❤\__

Buddha’s descent from the pure realms of the Deva’s is celebrated, to honour the kindness Buddha repaid to his mother.

As one of the four main days of the Buddhist calendar, this is a karma multiplied day x 10 million.

During this last quarter Moon, when the Sun is in Scorpio and the Moon in regal Leo, energy is transformational, intense and dramatic; emotions run deep in the light of self-consciousness.

November 6th 2012 is also the day when Mercury, planet of healing and communication, goes into retrograde motion, signalling how important it is to observe the mind, as well as watch what we say. While Mercury is currently in optimistic Sagittarius, this particular retrograde period takes places during ‘eclipse season’; there will be many a turning point as healing Mercury retreats back into secretive Scorpio to re-do, re-work, re-think powerful alliances before stationing to go forward November 27th.

Be prepared. Create good karma and generate merit (now and always). The solar eclipse is in a week’s time on November 13th, coinciding with a SuperMoon.

If you would like to know how this transformational time constellates your own personal horoscope, with an ASTROLOGY READING please either check blog for rates, or contact me personally.
Thank you _/❤\_

Blessings & Love on this very holy day _/❤\_

Halloween Samhain ~11~ Moon Pluto in Capricorn

Halloween blessings to one and all _(♥)_ As nature’s thinning veils between life and death allow one to view the previously hidden with a profound spiritual sensitivity, leading to greater insight and extra-sensory perception, it is at Samhain that a mysterious part of the psyche can shift into visible consciousness, and renew determination to understand deep-rooted influences, discover deceptive secrets, and resolve difficult power issues.

During the Day of the Dead, we magically communicate with loved ones who have passed, and imbibe Spirit of Ancestors. Thus empowered by the strength and beauty of all that has gone before, we can embrace the affairs of the everyday world with the resources to transform selfishness into selflessness and subdue the nature of our base desires.

From the astrological point of view, at ‘All Hallow’s Eve’, the gothic Scorpio Sun marks the sensitive Water element of zodiac's Fixed Cross (exact on the 7th November) symbolic of controlling systems facing points of crisis that, through honed intuition, can relinquish all which no longer serves (collective) liberation.

The Sun is currently sextile the waxing Moon that today conjuncts Pluto, Scorpio’s ruler, making this a rather emotionally satisfying Halloween, even if relationships are extra intense with Venus conjunct Mercury at 27Scorpio, the Scorpio Sun is still cojunct Juno, loyal with laser-like feminine intuition - like a witch's black cat ;)

Diwali Scorpio New Moon ~ October'11

Hindu Diwali LIGHT festivities begin tonight, with a shimer of candlelight and a twinkle of devotion during the darkest hours of the old Moon, before the 3degrees Scorpio new SuperMoon on Wednesday, 26th, at 19:54UT.

Scorpio is a sign of transformation, regenerating Spirit through the ability to delve into previously hidden places, ideas, or thoughts. With laser-like perception Scorpio cuts to the quick and swiftly releases the outmoded or outworn so that one is literally reborn and renewed. To aid the metamorphosis, the Scorpio Halloween lunation draws back the veil of illusion to begin the lunar cycle with Sun and Moon in very good relation to the celestial shaman, Chiron, the sensitive healer who continues to travel hand-in-hand with magical mystical Neptune. Now is the time to hone into the wounded part of self (physical, intellectual or spiritual) and, through a ritual connection to the natural world, retrieve the darkest parts of the wounded soul and breathe into it the new light of life _(♥)_

~*♥*~

On Friday the 28th, we also have the second phase of the on-going Jupiter-Pluto trine, a helpful aspect which began in the summer and will end as spring begins, in March. This represents a long-term renewal of values, and all we cherish_(♥)_

Seven Magical Sisters & Artemis ~ Taurus Full Moon '10

“Twinkle Twinkle little STAR, how I wonder what you are. Up above the sky so bright, like a diamond in the night.” Everyone, young and old, has smiled and sung this song at some time and marvelled at the starry heavens. And there is one very special cluster of stars which truly fascinate and activate this sense of wonder in more ways than is at first obvious; these are the Pleiades –Seven magical Sisters who shimmer and glitter at the very last degree of Taurus, who are linked to mysticism and power, life and death.

For millennia we humans have known something very special emanates from the Seven Sisters. Mythology abounds with stories of these blue stars: To the Greeks they were Doves; to the Celts they are ‘The Fates’; to the Chinese the ‘Seven Sisters of Industry’; to the Indians they are ‘Seven Mothers’ who judge and wield moon-shaped razors; and to the Egyptians they are Seven Goddesses whom the dead encounter. Through these stars we acknoweldge a portal into another world.

Just by watching these alluring Seven Goddesses we link into a collective cosmic mythology that has captivated our imagination and thereby become a part of historical harmony. In esoteric astrology the Pleiades stimulates the human heart centre, enabling one to relinquish the obsessive desire that Scorpio can often cling to. Scorpio is also associated with transformation through rebirth and renewal; though letting go of all that no longer serves can sometimes be a painful process due to Scorpios’ fixed intensity.

So while the Sun is in Scorpio, still with Vesta igniting the inner flame, and the Full Taurus Moon conjuncts the influential Pleiades on Sunday, the 21st at 17:27 gmt, the power of love is coupled with the power of renewal.  (Look to 29 degrees Taurus and Scorpio in your chart to see where this renewal is taking place.)

When planets are found at the last degree of a sign, in astrology we call this degree ‘anaretic’, meaning it has an accumulative effect from having almost completed the passing through of one sign.  It’s as though we have already digested all the qualities of the sign before leaping into the next, and in the case of this Full Moon, when the Sun is in Scorpio and the Moon in Taurus, those consecutive signs are truth-seeking Sagittarius and curious Gemini.  Nonetheless, the issues surrounding this Full Moon are still Taurean (personal values and constancy, love and money) and Scorpio (shared values and strength, intimacy and power). Over this moon we harness Scorpio’s ability to deeply sense our Taurean needs in a heartfelt and protective manner without so much the need for words.  A Moon with the Pleiades can trap, hold, and purify (with wisdom and compassion) any negativity that comes to light via Scorpio’s psychic radar.

The Moon is also our emotional anchor; when full the Moon brings clarity and wisdom; and in Taurus, the Moon is exalted, where we find stability.  In the West she is feminine, a Goddess with many names. At this time of year (in the northern hemisphere), when the leaves on the trees have fallen and the nights are dark we call her Diana, or Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt. Artemis is the bringer of Light, caring for children, women and the environment.  She is often connected to the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades in myth, and being reunited with them over this Full Moon indicates our Goddess energy is once again magnified.

This gathering of moon maidens and sky dancers creates a dynamic connection, particularly as we are still under the cosmic auspices of the Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun (which resumes an exact formation March 13th 2011).  Alice A. Bailey writes that during the time of a Cardinal Cross, the Pleiades employs both Mercury and Mars as agents working through Gemini AND Sagittarius; so it is interesting how they are now in conjunction in truth-seeking Sagittarius.  This could well be a sign that in order to understand the truth we also need to connect more with our intuitive and feminine sides, creating Shiva-Shakti over this Full Moon.  And from Monday, both Sun and Moon move into these signs, when a greater, yang energy becomes our celestial focus for another month, through which the heart-orientated Pleiades communicates.

Wherever you are during this full Moon, when looking out for the Pleiades with the Moon, take a moment to weather-watch. As over November’s ‘Dark Moon’, in both an ancient Babylonian custom, as well as Tibetan, it is said the during Full Taurus Moon (where the moon is exalted) one can note what might lie ahead in the cold winter months, especially for practical sustenance, as Taurus is an earth sign, symbolic of gardening and crops.

Thanks as always to Bill Brouard,"Artimis" by beloved Susan Seddon-Boulet, and other unknown but much appreciated artists.
