☆ •°*☾ ◯☽ *°•.☆ Halloween ~ Diwali Solar Eclipse 0° Scorpio ☆ •°*☾

Pre-eclipse DarkMoon in Libra until Thursday, when the Moon occults the near Halloween 0° Scorpio Sun (@22:57bst), and an incoming tide of emotional and spiritual transformation rides a strong and deep wave. As this New Moon solar eclipse tests how we identify with our passions, which are best observed even when indulging, a new process begins in the way we view obsession and desire, making it easier to see and recognise craving’s nuances, so that we won’t need to get hooked by greed or possessiveness, thereby enabling one to relax within caring, loving relationships (including the relationship we have with our 'self').
☆ •°*☾ ◯☽ *°•.☆

On route to the partial SolarEclipse (visible in the US) the sensitive moon in Libra seeks balance, even whilst in the scattering mode of leaves and seeds (depending upon which half of the hemisphere you are in: autumn peaks in the north, spring in the South); Triggering first the ongoing 'Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun' (still in effect until next year), and igniting that Divine spark of inspiration which enables one to walk the noble path of transformation and embrace personal change that also benefits others, La Luna then also occults the still retrograde Mercury for a potentially wiggy reminder that fairness and dialogue (as well as following one’s breath in meditation), are optimum means to discover and connect with innate inner-beauty, as well as the harmonious heart-mind.

Moments before the Diwali Solar Eclipse, the Moon enters Scorpio to even eclipse Venus. In effect, this heart opening rip in the fabric of space-time is one through which ‘the witness within’ can perceive the universal and profoundly magical healing of the power of love, without getting stuck in any power-play. _/\_

New Moon Diwali Solar Eclipse ☾ ♏ ☼ 2013 Sunday 3rd November

Festival of Light ~> Diwali Solar Eclipse - Igniting Sacred Light

-----------------()---()---()--()
-----------------||---||----||---||

-------------  _/♥\__/♥\__/♥\_

The New Moon Solar Eclipse at 12 degrees Scorpio is the most potent New Moon of the year, as both Sun and Moon are with sobering Saturn and retrograde Mercury ~>  Call in protectors & set intentions wisely, as this Solar Eclipse is triple charged with a karmic mother-load, reminding us ‘what we sow, so shall we reap’.

From the tantric meditators point of view, during this particular eclipse subtle body sensitivity to unseen energy can at once highlight and/or clear kleshas (karmic imprints) in an instant, or at least chip away at old ‘stuff’ to lighten-up the way along the Dharma path.

Meditators who work with the subtle body, channels and chakras, can, throughout this eclipse – and without identifying with ‘egoic mind’ – draw up from the Earth powerful healing Goddess energies through the central channel; at the same time, bring down through the crown with strong powers of visualisation a purifying insight that has the potential to release (past-life) habits and change thought patterns to alter direction and create dramatic transformation, all the while remaining grounded and stable at the base, bringing the Light out of from darkness, to radiate at the heart.

This eclipse has a peak of 1 minute 45 seconds, and will last approximately an hour and a half, depending upon where you are in the world, with Central Africa witnessing some totality.  Its influence is long-lasting, meaning that “Nothing ever goes away until it teaches you what you need to know” ~> quote from Pema Chodron

So, dear Spiritual Warrior, have a good eclipse, as we unite mind, body and Spirit ‘holding the space’ with love and harmony.

Thanks for sharing and immense gratitude to Joma Sipe for his astounding artwork for the cover of Theosophical International Conference.

See you on the other side… _/♥\_

Diwali Solar Eclipse ☼ Sacred Fire Circle

Wishing everyone a very Happy Eclipse Diwali ~> this year a shadowy festival with a CIRCLE of SUN’s SACRED LIGHT!

The Asian Diwali light festivities now celebrate with a shimmer, twinkle and sparkle during the darkest hours of the old Moon, before the 22degrees Scorpio new SuperMoon Eclipse tonight (Tuesday 13th or tomorrow morning Wednesday 14th depending upon where you are in the world) at 22:

08 GMT.

This solar eclipse is only visible at the northernmost tip of Australia. Totality will last for about four minutes. Eclipses are a cosmic interplay between Sun, Moon and Earth which happen twice a year, coming in pairs (Lunar eclipse Nov 28th). A Solar eclipse takes place when a New Moon crosses the orbital plane of the ecliptic and passes in front of the Sun.

As seen from Earth, the Moon temporarily blocks most of the Sun’s light; though we do see a ring of light around the Sun we can also witness the Sun’s amazing ring of light, the ‘Corona’, in full splendour. The Corona truly is the Sun’s crowning glory, and eclipses offer a rare glimpse of the Sun’s powerful electromagnetism, as the Sun radiates its’ powerful and brilliant ‘Light of Intelligence’ into our solar system.

As spiritual masters have long advocated, eclipses are rare and powerful moments, best tuned into through meditation and reflection. A purified central channel, the Sushumna, can open within one’s subtle body to unify wisdom and compassion to provide clarity, insight and realisation. But not everyone can handle this fast rip in the fabric of space-time and the ensuing potential cosmic opening to spirit; so some people can be negatively affected. So be aware how this is also a Mercury Retrograde Solar Eclipse when the mind, as well as airlines and all forms of travel, can play tricks – which is another reason to make every effort to remain calm and patient, centred and balanced, with self as well as others.

With eclipses now taking place in powerful Scorpio, a sign of transformation and regeneration, endings and beginnings, Scorpionic renewal is through the ability to delve into previously hidden places, ideas, or thoughts, to sexually, psychically and emotionally heal. Working multi-dimensionally: outer, Inner & Secret (mundane/earth, personal/psycho-anatomical & spiritual), check where this transformational 22 degree Scorpio lies in your horoscope and see what-how-where this profound union of Sun & Moon in Scorpio is activating for you personally.

By honing into the wounded/darkest part of self (physical, intellectual or spiritual) we can retrieve the new light of day that sheds light, so that one magically emerges self-aware: greater, stronger and smarter. This eclipse intensifies Scorpio’s laser-like perception which cuts to the quick to release the outmoded or outworn, so that one is literally reborn and revitalised, able to move ahead with a generous heart in all relationships.

NOW is the time to transform _(♥)_

Diwali Scorpio New Moon ~ October'11

Hindu Diwali LIGHT festivities begin tonight, with a shimer of candlelight and a twinkle of devotion during the darkest hours of the old Moon, before the 3degrees Scorpio new SuperMoon on Wednesday, 26th, at 19:54UT.

Scorpio is a sign of transformation, regenerating Spirit through the ability to delve into previously hidden places, ideas, or thoughts. With laser-like perception Scorpio cuts to the quick and swiftly releases the outmoded or outworn so that one is literally reborn and renewed. To aid the metamorphosis, the Scorpio Halloween lunation draws back the veil of illusion to begin the lunar cycle with Sun and Moon in very good relation to the celestial shaman, Chiron, the sensitive healer who continues to travel hand-in-hand with magical mystical Neptune. Now is the time to hone into the wounded part of self (physical, intellectual or spiritual) and, through a ritual connection to the natural world, retrieve the darkest parts of the wounded soul and breathe into it the new light of life _(♥)_

~*♥*~

On Friday the 28th, we also have the second phase of the on-going Jupiter-Pluto trine, a helpful aspect which began in the summer and will end as spring begins, in March. This represents a long-term renewal of values, and all we cherish_(♥)_

Sacred Diwali Light ☉☽✫ Sun Scorpio Moon & Vesta

Early birds will now see VENUS RISING as Aphrodite, the Morning Star. The ancient Greeks called her Phosphorus or Lucifer, the 'Light Bearer'. Although Venus is still retrograde until Nov 19th (& just about to change signs from SCORPIO -> back into LIBRA) we could feel any obsessive intensity seep away for a while, to be replaced with a lighter heart and a more balanced view about that which we value. So welcome a new rosy Venus ascending at dawn (as she metamorphises from evening Star to Morning), plus a New Moon @ 4:53 gmt 14 degrees of Scorpio – the very same degree that Venus went retrograde, 28 days ago, a full lunation cycle later. These salient astro-facts indicate we now have the opportunity to shine the light of our emotional experience upon deeper aspects of psyche, as well as all we value and share, such as love, peace & powerful associations.

Scorpio is the sign of life, death and rebirth - transformational renewal is through letting-go, cutting-back, and dropping any dead weights that stop you from flying high like the eagle in the sky. Now is the time to connect with our Buddha nature and take only what's necessary to revive Spirit and soar.

This is an astrologically busy new moon for those who like their insight profound and meaningful. (I know, new Moons are always laden with symbolism - but this one has the visionary activist's edge.) Because Neptune and Chiron also go forward, after a long retrograde in late degrees Aquarius, a (collective) spiritual or emotional wound can now be healed. Psychic awareness and (toxic) sensitivity is also heightened. Take care, protect, & beware of dirty tricks.

During the last New Moon in Libra, the planets paired up, which was a nice celestial surprise for being in the sign of loving relationship. At this New Moon several planets are twirling the skies in three’s, which suggests that ideas and connectivity should uplift: So while Venus edges out of Scorpio into Libra over the next few days to find the value of self-love in relation to others (see Sun at inferior conjunction with Venus & Venus in Scorpio Retrograde for the practical and spiritual overview of her retrograde dance), the SUN & MOON move forward to start a new lunation in SCORPIO with asteroid VESTA, igniting our sacred inner heat for the month. Whilst keeping the sexual flame alight we must, however, be aware how overwhelming desires can burn up the life-force if we don't take care; Pluto, Scorpio’s ruler, is also with the North Node and Ceres: We need to revolutionize our (collective) direction, with the love and attention a Mother would give her child.

& Black Moon Lilith is closing in again on Jupiter and Uranus, still retrograde in Pisces. While Jupiter is slowing down to go forward on the 19th November – the same day as Venus goes forward 28 Libra, I’d say watch any collective emotional undercurrent with detachment, if you can, and make an effort not to get swept along by other’s fear or frustration. These are challenging times in many ways, but with Goddess Vesta igniting the light of Diwali, within the initiating energy of a New Moon, we can connect to our innate goodness & and allow purity of spirit to keep integrity intact.

At the Full Moon in Taurus on the 21st November (when the Sun & Moon conjunct the Pleiades) only Uranus will be retrograde. More on this later...
