Focus with the Wisdom Eye ~ New Capricorn Moon 2016

πŸŽ† A New Capricorn Moon, 28-29th December, means tonight is the darkest night of the year (in the North), thus marking a time to rest, in sync with the nearest New Moon to Winter Solstice. At 6:54am GMT, both Sun and Moon will be at 8Capricorn; set intentions for (Summer's) accomplishment with focus, discipline and wisdom, and imbibe the responsibly-minded sea-goat's ability to climb mountains with ease and freedom, able to overcome all kinds of obstacles with dedicated application. Even as Mercury turns direct on the 8th Jan, far-sight and long-term thinking will be rewarded.
Aim and concentration are the astral order of this New Capricorn Moon. Time now to keep sights firmly in mind, prioritize and prepare, aware of the nature of reality, one’s true nature, Buddha nature and the light within. As 2016 draws to a close, new light ignites a New Year with an electrifying charge, one that has the ability to awaken and, if your karma is ripe, free the mind.

πŸŽ†Happy 2017 Everyone! πŸŽ†

☆ A Spark of Light during the Dark Moon Holy Days ~ Christmas '16☆

For anyone fascinated by either numerology or sacred geometric patterns – and that includes once-number-crunching astrologers (even though computers do it for us now) – it is now remarkable how no less than seven heavenly markers at 19-20-21°. Jupiter, BlackMoonLillith, Saturn, Venus, Chiron, Uranus and Ceres currently fill a celestial bowl, all occupying exactly one half of the zodiac circle, and all beautifully spaced and aligned to bring cosmic offerings to the holiday stars. Those born with these degrees his or her horoscope could now discover the metaphoric holy grail, a vessel of honour and love, whilst spinning and sparkling with thoughts and ideas that set one soaring with a passion.

It’s a good job present planets are so evenly spread! Radiating from centre like an open fan that offers a perfectly synced moment to twirl, cool or hide behind, now is the time to assess our next steps. Watch the action as this Moon phase comes to a close. See what that has the potential to truly thrill and satisfy. If past events have been overly stress, take time now, before Capricorn's New Moon on the 28th/29th Jan, and catch one’s breath to inhale deeply the seasonal love, peace and hope that will help to embody the awareness that good things can be made to manifest.

☆☆ Two of 2017’s most important and longer-lasting aspects are now taking place (which will remain in effect until Sept 2017). On Christmas day freedom-loving Jupiter opposes liberating Uranus; and on Boxing day, a dynamic and visionary trine between Saturn and Uranus sparks into being. Change is certain. Note that whatever you are envisioning or processing at this moment in time can set the tone for the coming year. Be brave. Co-create now with the universe. Tune into the magic of the moment, noting that in chaos there are always opportunities and how Yule is a festival that celebrates the return of the New Light King, as well as the birth of a Bodhisattva.

Heroic spiritual warriors grow through beauty, love and light. Come the full Cancer Moon on Jan 12th the current focus can be set into action.

◯ Dark Moon Dark Sun ~ Winter Solstice 2014

Shortest day and longest night is fast approaching. At the same time the Moon cycle is coming to a close, compounding long shadow days and the need to allow subconscious thoughts, feelings and dreams to bubble up to the surface before being filtered by the light of consciousness.
Until the Winter Solstice (21st Dec 23:03GMT ), swiftly followed by the New Capricorn Moon (22nd Dec 001:25gmt ) - with both markers occurring around midnight Universal Time, this closing part of the year is also one of the year’s darkest periods. Before solar standstill, and like the animals hibernating, it is now time to relax (as best one can in the often hectic pre-xmas whirl). During these next few days the receptive and feminine Yin chi flows deeply and strong (in the northern hemisphere). Within this dark space the urge to turn inwards, in order to recoup and revive, is an innate part of our natural cycle. It is also a time of major personal initiation into our own internal light, teaching to kindle the light which resides in our heart. Soul and Spirit illuminating faith and trust, hope and compassion, qualities for the SOLstice blessings to take forward into the New Year – and beyond.

New Moon in Capricorn _/\_11th January ‘13

Our first new moon of the year, at 19:43GMT, is also the final lunation of the remarkable Water Dragon year. As the Earthy Capricorn Sun and Moon are now in conjunction with the celestial courier, Mercury, heaven’s message is quite pragmatic and clear: stabilise to accomplish, practice to become efficient, and remain in the Dragon's 'Authentic Presence' ('wangthang' in Tibetan), your own personal 'power field', that is created by one's basic goodness.

Spirit Sun, emotive Moon, and communicative Mercury are also loosely conjoined to loving Venus, loyal Juno & transformational Pluto, all in the sign of the mountain-climbing Sea-Goat. It’s worth noting that in Esoteric astrology Venus is the hierarchical ruler of Capricorn; this means that even if involved in ambitious power play, the spiritual warrior must always come from the heart. There is, however, little time for comparison or distraction with so many planets in no-nonsense Capricorn. Focus and concentration are the order of this New Moon, which teaches us to prioritise and prepare to be mindfully aware of the nature of reality, one’s true nature, Buddha nature.

Fiery Mars in Aquarius still squares Capricorn’s traditional ruling planet, Saturn in secretive Scorpio; issues of trust, respect, and friendship could create crossed wires, which may mean actively putting boundaries into place ~> Erect the Vajra fence now to protect, keeping kindred dharma spirits close, and certain cheeky monkeys out of reach.

And seeing as this is a physical and practical moon sign, now is the time to look after the body, especially knees (in meditation), teeth (for chewing slowly), and/or skeletal structure for climbing the spiritual heights, all the while enjoying the view, especially when in mountain posture!

The next New Moon is February 10th, with Losar, Tibetan New Year of the Black Water Snake, February 11th.

Winter Solstice 2011 _(♥)_ New Capricorn Moon Xmas Eve

Whichever spiritual holiday you celebrate, Christmas, Solstice, Saturnalia, Osiris, Mithras, Hannuka or Kwanga (or all for good measure! :)) this darkest part of year (in northern hemisphere) is often deeply emotional, when resting and taking a good look back provides insight and rejuvination. With 2012 just around the corner, promising to be a dramatic year, light-workers and dharma practitioners alike will want to be in the best possible form, mindful and aware, in order to generate the heart-mind's precious bodhicitta and ride the waves of love, beaming radiant light.

Ready yourself now to leave the past behind and release painful or psychic baggage into the void, so that we never have to deal with whatever bugs us  again (at most not for another seven lifetimes!). For the Capricorn stars watching over this WINTER SOLSTICE, at 5:30 on the morning of the 22nd December, present the perfect opportunity to stop and assess, in order to liberate, heal, and transform all that no longer serves our Divine purpose. The return of Sunlight (in the northern hemisphere) signals the ‘New Light King’ is reborn, providing Spirit with a strong ‘Seed of Consciousness’, that is nourished and nurtured by realising certain ultimate truths.

Winter Solstice (still aligned with Galagtic Centre AND Pluto for one more year!) is swiftly followed by a new Capricorn Moon on Xmas Eve (2 degrees of disciplined Capricorn at 18:06 on the 24th December) when, due to the baring of expansive Jupiter - at station to go forward in tropical 0degrees Taurus - spiritual/material growth is put into perspective, as well as the emergence of practical and personal value developing into something much more solid and obvious towards the Spring Equinox. Until then, am thanking our lucky stars that Jupiter, celestial Santa Clause, is beginning to pull out of his endlessly long opposition to Saturn in late Libra (tipping the balance of finances, housing, govts for the past couple of years); A recovery of some sort may well be a welcome relief as we cross the symbolic threshold into 2012 and enter THE year of a zillion fantastic predictions. These predictions mostly centre upon next year's winter solstice. At which one wonders what will we be doing this time next year? Watching ufos from Mayan pyramids? ;) Tuning into ascended Atlantians? ;) Or just plain turning off the fear-factor? :)) I predict one thing is certain: Winter Solstice 2012 is going to be the largest Global meditation the world has ever seen - or felt.

So this, and the coming Summer Solstice on June 21st are a kind of run-through to excercise our ability to tune into 'the field', the noosphere, to restore human faith, love and compassion. Before a Solstice (the same is for summer solstice (in southern hemisphere)) meditation, prayers, ceremony or practice, be aware that when the Sun is at the Solstice standstill (Sol = Sun, stice = still) the connection between Spirit Sun and Mother Earth  creates a momentary 3-day 'gap', just like 'the gap' in meditation which happens in-between the ‘out breath’, and before the ‘in breath’. This is the cosmic pause in which we rest, and the very pause from which we stop past conditioning and karmic habits to release painful negativity, before inhaling once again life-giving goodness that comes from air’s life-sustaining prana. Take note to consciously breathe in positivity and exhale anything unhelpful - You’ll be surprised at how much stronger and positive you will feel, instinctively able to shine throughout 2012_(♥)_ Dharma practioners will no doubt even flip the cosmic coin and practice tonglen. ;)

Many thanks to unknown artists for beautiful healing light and blue lotus magical white spin_(♥)_
