✶ Dakini Day Lama Tsong Khapa Day Dec '18

✶☽ 2nd Dec ~> The last Dakini Day of 2018 comes before a New Sagittarius Moon on the 7th December, three weeks before Solstice and the longest night/day of the year (depending upon which hemisphere you are in). This dark moon, before Spirit Sun changes emphasis of Light on the 21st Dec, therefore compounds any need for rest, reflection and recuperation. Turning YINward for the next five days allows the feminine Yin's soulful cool earthy darkness to grow the more gentle qualities of wisdom, fairness and compassion.

✶☽As a glorious sky-dancing Goddess generously awakens loving kindness within every heartmind, the waning Moon in peaceful and social Libra harmoniously activates Spirit Sun in convivial and scholarly Sagittarius, for the Lights to concentrate the ‘higher mind’ to find emotional and spiritual balance through philosophy, culture and beauty. When the Dakini Moon is in airy Libra, partnerships get an ethical reset: hardened principles that make it difficult to relate can soften with an appreciation of what others may be going through. With a bright rational, this Dakini Goddess is civilised, always aware of the plight of others – especially with those she shares her life. This Moon is also conjunct Pallas Athena, accenting a powerful feminine warrior woman.
Before setting the intention with a New Sagittarius Moon, Sun AND Jupiter on the 7th, note forward moving Mercury can help to hone into certain subjects and sharpen one’s INsight.  Also worth bearing in mind is how Sun and New Moon will conjunct a part of the sky called the ‘Great Attractor’: be aware that intentions set at this New Moon can greatly magnetise.

✶☽Today is also an important day in our Tibetan Buddhist calendar: not only it is DAKINI day, with Sun and Moon in the last 'harmonious' aspect of a waning lunation, accenting the Sagittarian Guru wisdom because it is also Lama Tzongkhapa day, honouring the 14th Century founder of the Galugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism, to which both His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, and my late Lama, Venerable Lama Kirti Tsenshab Rinpoche belong.

And it’s also Hannuka – a festival of Light for Jewish friends! :))

This is certainly a wonderful time to go easy on oneself – and others – to socialise and be with friends, and to reflect upon this passing year whilst contemplating future plans in the upcoming year of the Earth Pig.
Wishing everyone a very happy Lama Tsong Khapa Dakini Day!

Saka Dawa Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini ~> June 2012

Happy SakaDawa Duchen! May all beings be Happy! :))

Full Moon full moon lunar eclipse is a big day for Tibetan Buddhists, marking SAGA DAWA, the day we celebrate the birth, enlightenment and parinirvana of Sakyamuni Gothama Buddha ♥_/|\_ ૐ

This eclipse sees the Moon at 14 Sagittarius aligning with the ‘Great Attractor’, opening a portal for the mind-stream in truth to attract, imbibe and embody the sacred heart of the cosmos. For the meditator this is an optimum opportunity for impartial observation of all sensation (internal-external, yin-yang, sun-moon) harmonising earthly heart-mind with an illuminating awakened spirit.

Be extra attentive to the subtle body, with chakras and channels super sensitive during this opening of space time: Because of the dramatic changes taking place (within & without), eclipses can be an integral (and sometimes the backdoor) passage for spiritual evolution. On a relative level we often witness watersheds and transformational situations during eclipse season, especially if the degree of the eclipse constellates our own horoscope. Lunar eclipses tend to show results quicker than solar counterparts.

This is a Karma multiplied day (x 10 million during eclipse) ♥ = Breathe, be the LIGHT ~> be kind to self & others ~> In presence, living the LOVE ♥_/|\_ ૐ x

Lunar eclipse is at total conjunction at 11:11 UT (! :)), visible in the Far East & China.

Diamond Goddess & Great Attractor ~ Gemini Lunar Eclipse Venus Transit

Sharing a nice cup of English tea and dear JoJo’s cake, as dear Queenie, Elizabeth Windsor, born under the Goddess Venus ruled sign Taurus, celebrates her Diamond Jubilee during this weekend’s Lunar Eclipse (the Full Sagadawa Moon, June 4th 12:12 British Summer Time). The Moon, in mundane astrology, represents the public mood; and during this eclipse la Luna just happens to conjunct 14degrees Sagittarius, where lies our Galaxy’s ‘Great Attractor’. Yes, the heavens are in accord, we’re attracted to the Goddess - & We love our Queen! Festivities extend into the celestial LOVE transmission during the rare Sun-Venus transit, awakening Heart-Mind over the long bank holiday on Monday/Tuesday morning :)) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Nice to bear in mind how there are two grand scale offerings to our earthly Venusian Goddess: Fire & Water. A flotilla of boats upon the River Thames (aka Isis) culminates tomorrow afternoon at Green0wich Meridian line; and Apollo’s fiery laylines of Great Britain will blaze on Monday June 4th, with Jubilee beacons and bonfires at 10pm on hilltops across the land! To top it all and add a serious sense of timing (as if being at 0degrees meridian isn’t enough), Big Ben is going to be renamed Elizabeth Tower! Time for the Goddess to ring her Jubilee Bells ;) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Sixty years is also, of course, a very important astrological landmark of her reign’s second Saturn return, and twelve times the five elements makes this an important astrological landmark for the Queen to demonstrate her regal wisdom. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Mercury Direct Dec'11 & The Caduceus: A cosmic clue to 2012

Caduceus carrying symbol of healing & communication, Mercury, is going forward tonight, 13th December '11, in far-sighted Sagittarius, the sign of religion, philosophy, and big sweeping concepts such as the God partical: Over the next couple of weeks we get to apply any re-found wisdom that helps to understand the bigger picture (at Cern), as well as putting into perspective much-needed (global & individual) remedial action.  When Mercury once again crosses ‘The Great Attractor’ towards the end of the year, the power of the mind to heal physically, mentally and spiritually, becomes a cosmic key for 2012. New ideas to restore a natural balance could  come thick and fast.

Mercury’s current change in direction is accompanied by a tightly connected fire triangle, with the regal Leo Moon in trine to radical Uranus (who has also just gone forward) in autonomous Aries.  This formation can generate optimism and warmth, even if feeling low energy (particularly in the aftermath of a strong eclipse as we have yet to reach the Winter Solstice point on the 21st December, when light returns (to the Northern hemisphere) to restore higher energy levels. The challenge during this poingnant Mercury station is to intuit the gracious goodness of our inherent Buddha nature, as Mercury also squares shamanic Chiron (& spiritual Neptune).

When Jupiter turns direct, on Christmas day, all planets will be going forward into a new year; the prospect of renewing our value system could well birth new faith. This emphasis upon visionary Sagittarius and its ruler, Jupiter, as well as informative Gemini, and its ruler, Mercury, is the major theme of 2012.  Jupiter even moves into Gemini in June. And with dynamic Mars in Mercury-ruling Virgo for eight months, one might even say 2012 is Mercury’s year.  2012 is therefore a year to work with Mercury's magic wand, the caduceus, on an external, internal, and secret way, in order to heal mind, body AND spirit.

Many thanks for artwork, to beloved Alex Grey for Caduceus Man and unknown artists of caducues rainbow woman _(♥)_

Visionary Sagittarius Sun MercuryRx & Rahu ~> on The Great Attractor ~> Dec11

"Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions."
~Albert Einstein~

The heavens are currently urging us to open our minds, broaden our vision, and consider a far-bigger picture than we possibly ever imagined. Over the next few days, as the Sun continues to pass through far-sighted Sagittarius, it also crosses a part of the sky called ‘The Great Attractor’, a mysterious gravitational point in the heavens. No one is really sure as to why so many galaxies are drawn towards the ‘Great Attractor’, some 250 million light years away. Yet our potential (for enlightenment) while our own Milky Way is drawn towards this cluster of galaxies is phenomenal. And this is why we have to now think BIG and embrace the power to create in the mind’s eye the dream we’ve always dreamt of.

Because this is how the ‘law of attraction’ works: The future is what we make it, co-creating with the universe, concentrating and focusing upon what we really want to achieve. Today’s encouragement comes with a little word of warning, however, while the retrograde Mercury also joins the Sun at this magical point; and that is not to lose oneself in dogma and detail, but to use this time to aim high and imagine our aspirations well and truly embodied. Any endeavour is now given an extra cosmic boost as both Sun and Mercury, together with the very special guest appearance of the 'Great Attractor', are also now conjunct the destiny-fulfilling North Node, otherwise known as Rahu, or the Dragon’s Head with the lunar eclipse on the 10th December. Celestial sights are now set on nothing short of (collective) galactic awakening; so in the words of Joseph Campbell, “Follow your bliss and the Universe will open doors where there were walls.” ~♥~
