☼ Aries Ingress __/❀\__♡ ☼ Tara Moon 2017

☼ Sun’s Aries ingress tomorrow 10:28gmt coincides with the Astrological New Year and the Losar lunation’s Last Quarter Tara – Medicine Moon. __/❀\__♡ ☼
☆ A fiery Aries Sun at the ‘world point’, means that most everyone notes an energetic shift, and a change of seasons has either arrived, or is imminent. With Aries in square to the Moon in her detriment, in Capricorn, conjunct Capricorn's ruler, karmic Saturn, lord of obstacles and limitation, we may also be asking ourselves how we got into situation(s) we now face. If that is the case, take heart, even it seems like squaring-up to the impossible to overcome, it’s important to know there are many ways of clearing (karmic) obstacles. Mantra and visualization meditation work well, as does doing good deeds, making amends, and changing one’s mind to not repeat the negative. Given the antidote, we also need to be disciplined and practical and be forever conscious of what needs to be applied (in body, speech, or mind) so we needn’t feel stuck, just as the Fire Bird year begins to spark into action.

☆ Saturn is currently on the Sagittarian degree that points directly towards the centre of our Galaxy and, due to retrogrades, will be for the most of 2017: a time to shine a light upon all matters of truth and consequence. Time also to stake out boundaries that enable one to encompass more Love, more Wisdom, and more Light.

☆ Just as the season spring is associated with the colour green and the wind element, so too is the green Arya Tara. With both Spring and Goddess Tara associated with the generally fast-moving wind element, suggesting firm conviction and a willingness to bring about speedy change that spirals and grows into curious spaces, with a gentle kind of practical, feminine devotion. This last quarter moon is therefore ideal to quickly make conscious adjustments wherever needed: in the work place, within the heart-mind - and to be in tune with our surroundings, ready for a New Aries Moon 28th March, when the innovative and unusual may even be given ‘taskmaster’ Saturn’s magical seal of approval.

• ✰• Venus Retrograde - Passionate Compassion • ✰•

For 40 days and 40 nights, the seductive Goddess of Love and all things beautiful, Venus, is Retrograde from 4th March – 15th April, activating the 5-pointed star she makes in the heavens every eight years.
Currently in fiery, go-getting Aries, Venus is set to return to the more sensitive and bewitching Pisces, the sign of forfeit, forgiveness and the out-of-this-world phantasmagorical.

This is a challenging retrograde for Venus, due to being in her ‘fall’ in ardent, self-orientated Aries (always a bit tricky in relationship where good connections generally require thinking of others as well). But while Venus is just now in hot pursuit of passionate love, she is also set to return to her finest exaltation, in the more universally aware Pisces, to discover a compassionate, kinder heart.

This Venus retrograde, with her burden of competitive ego, reveals a not-so-secret addiction to the kind of love where ‘self’ is abandoned into the overwhelming feeling of oneness and unity consciousness a Piscean Venus generates. Reviewing the interconnection with universe, and surrounding oneself by the all-consuming power of unconditional Divine love, with Venus at her exalted degree of 27Pisces, shows how this cosmic kind of love really switches on the illumination button: enlightenment, but without getting seduced by glamour or fooled by illusion which we would call 'spiritual materialism'.

To put this transit into the context of your own personal life-cycle count back eight years, to March 2009. As then, this is another inferior conjunction of Venus with the Sun on March 25th, just days after Spring Equinox, and only one day after a dynamic New Aries Moon! A new day dawns for Venus in her Piscean exaltation, as she lies between Earth and Sun, when cosmic love reigns supreme in all relations – even if it means making a personal sacrifice for the greater good of the whole.

With ℒℴѵℯ _/✿\_ & thanks to Tashi Mannox for his beautiful ‘PaniStar’_/\_ Within his five-pointed star is painted a mantra of Vajrapani, a powerful Bodhisattva, protector and remover of obstacles, inner and outer.

We may well need all the help we can get to remove certain stubborn obstacles, specifically those that prevent us seeing the value of self-Love, as Mercury also goes retrograde for the last five days of Venus retrograde to challenge a variety of value systems, of which unconditional Love is the highest.

✴️️ 🕯️ ✴️️ Feb 1st – 3rd Imbolc ️~ Brigit’s Day ~ Candlemas ~ Saraswati Panchami _/\_ Groundhog day… _/\_ ✴️️ 🕯️ ✴️️

🕯️ Both West and East now celebrate the light and hope that emanates from the Goddess of purity, hearth and heart, of wisdom and craft, music and poetry. Taking time to kindle the inner-flame of the Sacred Goddess will allow her warmth to gently radiate within and around you.

🕯️ As the female Fire Bird year flies on the wing to the seasonal Fixed Air cross-quarter, mid-way point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox (exact 3rd Feb), she remind us to hold steady and strong, united in love and humanity, before the seasons change again from winter to spring in the north, summer to autumn in the south.

🕯️ A First Quarter Moon on the 3rd-4th is an exalted Medicine Moon in earthy Taurus. Because ‘The Lights’, Sun & Moon, are exactly at the 15°mid-point, there is the potential to stabilise – even when performing critical actions. Indeed action is called for: sudden or measured, a step in the right direction, even in the midst of chaos can avoid flapping wings of desire, to find pleasure in living a simple and good life, connected to helpful kindred spirits.

♡ peace & LOVE Full Libra Moon lunar eclipse ~ March 23rd 2016

♡ A peace & LOVE Full Libra Moon lunar eclipse is on Wednesday, exactly at midday GMT (-5 Est; + 5 ½ Delhi) and is visible in India, Australasia & the Americas. Aligning the ‘me-we’ axis at 4 degrees Aries~Libra, Sun, Moon and Earth, now highlight how we interact with others is a mirror of the way we relate to ‘self’. In other words the vibration we exude is what we tend attract into our lives, especially when it comes to relationship. Living in love grows more love; while anger or hate only manifests more hate and further negative emotion, such as blame, doubt, confusion; all of which makes relating even to one’s true self even more difficult, obscuring the essential kind and loving Buddha nature we are all born with. This eclipse urges one to live in love in regard others, without looking for ego validation.

There is no doubt this is a difficult eclipse period. And now the fiery Sun is exalted in Aries, where it exudes bravery, passion and ardour; it is also in good aspect to Mars (Mars rules Aries). Situations and emotions that surround this particular lunar eclipse may well resurface early May (and around the 22nd) and again mid-August, due to Mars (and Saturn) going retrograde April 17th for almost two months. Mars retrograde in Sagittarius accents the need to reassess the bigger picture unfolding now; specifically concerning alliances and investments made mid-February.

Spectacularly, home planet Mother Earth experiences more auroras during an equal-day, equal-night equinox period, as solar winds generate beautiful displays of light at the poles: an indication that when we are aligned and balanced, in harmony with our world, we also shine more easily. This Libra Moon helps one to appreciate the beauty in relationship, and remember that LOVE conquers all, as well as to aim for peaceful resolution of conflict.

& HAPPY HOLI everyone ~> colour me ℒℴѵℯ!

·✰··☾☼☽··✰· 8/9th Pisces Solar Eclipse SuperMoon @1:56gmt (21:56est) _/|\_

·✰· When Sun and Moon unite in their orbits to form a total eclipse (Solar or Lunar) a massive amount of transformational celestial energy concentrates upon the degree concerned; in this case it is degrees 18-19-20-21 of supersensitive Pisces feeling the pull of oceanic tidal change. This eclipse illuminates the major theme of the Yang Fire Monkey year: that all mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces are under the celestial spotlight to become even more humanitarian and flexible, as opposed to crafty and deceptive. So while all of us might sense the world is at turning point of some sort (depending upon where those degrees lie in your personal horoscope), because watery Pisces is an all-consuming, all embracing collective sign, it’s also possible many will intuit the imperative healing needed for the underlying global subconscious, which too easily tortures itself in toxic turmoil; in as much as we all want to be happy and avoid suffering; but what stops us attaining happiness – or at least seeing that happiness is a state of mind is, of course, our deluded thoughts: the desire nature and aversions that breed ignorance and fear. Please note when mutable signs are indicated, people can be more easily influenced and craziness can quickly replace rational composure. The way to counteract any overwhelming emotion, however, is to develop a meaningful connection to the heartfelt Love-Wisdom which resides within, and live a life of service, be it practical or spiritual to add a sense of purpose that is as physically, mentally and spiritually healing for ones’ self (on a molecular level) as well as others (on a cellular level).

·✰··☾☼☽··✰·

Many other planets now join the Sun, Moon, SOUTH node (Ketu, aka the Dragon’s tail) on this Maha Shivratri, International Women’s Day, including Mercury, Neptune, and Chiron, which are an imaginative and informative shamanic trio arriving at this eclipse with a saintly message: in the words of beloved Pema Chodron “Sometimes the crisis is the healing”.  Humanity’s greatest crisis comes about by perpetuating a situation of ‘us and them’. Be aware: this sense of separateness is how people are controlled by others who wear the mask of illusion. In reality, and from the ‘higher’ outlook, we are One: one race, one planet, under one sky breathing the same air, purifying in the same Samsara sea. Such unity consciousness is possible to quickly understand through activities that produce lots of positive emotion, such as dance, music, yoga, meditation and prayer can helps to realize that even the Divine and self are naturally One.

·✰· This Solar Eclipse (totality is across Indonesia) is with Ketu, aka the South Node. When energy flows in through the south it is often stronger, in primal Shakti mode; this is mostly because we generally release through the South Node (energy going out as opposed to coming in). Riding the waves during this eclipse is much easier when one remains open to twists and turns. Another function of the south node is as point of incarnation and reincarnation; and generally we say the qualities of the sign, house placement, aspects made are an indication of past life energies. And this eclipse accents a spiritual portal that has been open much wider than usual since November last year, due to conjunction of Jupiter the planet that magnifies with Rahu, the North Node, the the gate has widened, . (This may explain why so many seem to have passed since that time.) The exact conjunction of expansive Jupiter and Rahu takes place at Summer Solstice, when the enormity of collective light can heal and bring relief to those who need it. We can also tap into that healing during this new Moon by remembering that all is never lost, the power of prayer is phenomenal and that with faith and compassion miracles do happen.

·✰· A New Moon is also a time of setting intentions. As always, our intention (here at DharmaStars) is to raise the cosmic love vibration with compassion, sincerity, and a kind heart, especially when faced with difficulty and uncertainty. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on the 23rd March (eclipses always come in pairs: solar and lunar), will be only days away from Spring/Autumn equinox, when this turning of the light induces a cosmic surge in the will to accomplish balance, self-directed as well as in relationship.

·✰· Geomagnetic storms are forecast for the next few days, bringing beautiful Auroras to Mother’s Earth poles. And as her natural Sushumna glows with light, so can ours. _/\_ <3

This effects of this eclipse could last a few days; and we're not out of eclipse season until at least the end of March. Take good care everyone. Be kind to yourself and others <3 _/\_

#SuperNewMoon #SOlarEclipse #SpringEquinox !!! _/*\_

20th March 2015~>
✩ KARMA MULITPLIED day x 10,000 ✩
☽★☼ At 30 Pisces, the very last ‘omega’ degree of the zodiac, a new Super Moon Solar Eclipse on Friday morning (when the moon is closest to the earth) is exact at 9:31 am GMT. The last degree of a sign, the powerful ‘anaretic degree’, signifies we have already experienced the qualities of a sign and are ready to move on and embrace the next sign. In the case of this Solar Eclipse, it is the Piscean’s profound sensitivity and mystical awareness that has the ability to overcome duality to merge and blend with cosmic Oneness, that precedes the freshness the Aries Ram brings at the Spring Equinox (in the year of the Green Yin Wood Ram!), only 13 hours after Sol’s eclipse at 22:45gmt. The Sun is the star of this eclipse show, our Spiritual heart illuminating, feeding and growing all things on Earth; and in Pisces, as a world server responsive to the environment, showing loving kindness, forgiveness and compassion to all beings, especially beings, seen and unseen, suffering in Samsara’s pounding waves.

☽★☼ This degree of the Sun shines upon the Light of the World; and this alignment of Moon and Earth, with the full coronal electro-magnetic extent of Spirit Sun reveals the ‘Light of Life’ and a heavenly invitation to consciously focus upon our own personal heart-mind in direct association with Sol’s shining Spirit. As this eclipse degree inspires our wildest imagination through dance and music, poetry, meditation, and dreaming new worlds into being, it is also apt to recognise a certain phase or cycle has now ended. (Not least the 7 infamous squares of Uranus & Pluto and the techno-transformation that has taken place these past few years.)

☽★☼ A total eclipse of the Sun, with Luna darkening the Sun in totality for 2minutes 46seconds at this very last degree of the zodiac hasn’t been seen for many a year, which also suggests that while we really are at the end of something, personally and globally. At the same time a magical celestial portal opens for us to go through and explore our inner-consciousness, spiraling from Omega to Alpha and embark on the totally new and exciting armed with a greater compassion and wisdom that beckons us to cross into zero Aries with courage and confidence. By the end of the day, at the-all important ‘world point’ (the beginning of the astrological year), everyone will feel ‘the newness’ - in one way or another, like a breath of fresh air, bringing light into the awakening world.

✩ May your meditations be illuminating and the eclipse points be a beautiful balance of heart-mind-body and soul, so that all beings are nourished by the spiritual Light of Life _/♥\_

☼ Seeding World Peace ~> Spring Equinox 20th March 2014 @ 16:57gmt

Spirit Sun in fiery Aries
☼ ♈ Nought degrees Aries is the beginning of the zodiac, with equal day and equal night both sides of the globe. This balance of light and dark, yin and yang, male and female is revered, so much so that today is not only the start of the astrological calendar, but it is also the astrological beginning of the Kalachakra mandala of ‘World Peace’. This is a complex mandala that requires years of training and retreat to fully understand/experience the subtleties of the cosmic-anatomical interaction.

Due to the internet’s interconnection (and aided by a natural evolutionary wave from the ‘Big Bang’), we lay people are also now beginning to really comprehend that what goes on in the cosmos is but a reflection of our own heart-mind-body – ‘as without, so within’. For the most part we have yet to harmoniously and skilfully ride our own surges in thought, action and emotion, let alone collective energies that undulate according to planetary configuration. But this is what the Kalachakra master does: He/she aligns with the cosmos and senses exactly what is going on by tuning into the heart-mind-body and knowing the way celestial energies are moving; and can thus emanate pure wisdom from the heart-mind of the cosmos.

On this special first day of Spring (or Autumn in the South) Aries represents fresh new starts, and is where the radiant, life-giving Sun is exalted. As such, it is an optimum time to have confidence and plant the 'Seed of World Peace' in our heart, with the potent Kalachakra seed syllable. The Kalachakra (Kala = time & chakra = wheel) is a tantra that can be taken as a blessing, seeding at the heart its syllable known as the ‘One with Ten Powers’ (representing elements, lights, and realms), so that one can experience harmony in all spheres. _/♥\_

Happy Spring Equinox everyone! May all beings, in all realms, enjoy the illuminating Light _/\_

Spring Equinox 2013

☼ Rise & Shine! °◌•˚◎◦⊚°◌•˚◎◦⊚ Today is the Vernal Equinox, when the radiant light of the Sun enters Aries, its sign of exaltation @11:02gmt, to energise the northern hemisphere with the Spring Equinox, a time of equal day and equal night (in the southern hemisphere it is, of course Autumn). Wherever we are, this is a time of change.

☼ Spirit Sun represents one’s identity and in the sign of the Ram, a symbol of courage, daring and enterprise. The Sun is also in hard aspect to the on-going Uranus-Pluto square AND the Cancerian Moon; transformation and radical renewal can be now achieved with caution, by showing the care a mother would her child.

☼ In the Tibetan system, at Spring Equinox we honour Kalachakra ~> Kala = Time, Chakra = Wheel, the mandala which encapsulates cosmology, astrology, and the energy systems of the body _/♥\_

The Kalachakra Mandala is also the mandala for World Peace:

“A good motivation is what is needed: compassion without dogmatism, without complicated philosophy; just understanding that others are human brothers and sisters and respecting their human rights and dignities. That we humans can help each other is one of our unique human capacities.” ~ His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama ~ _/♥\_

Happy Spring Equinox!

Mercury direct ~> in Pisces March'13

Thank Heavens! Planet of communication Mercury is now direct, and the healing trickster will soon be wading out of these Piscean waters٠•●♥❤♥●•><((((º>

This particular Mercury retro, has been one of the slipperiest retrogrades for a while, as things/people/situations challenged equilibrium, compassion, and the ability to surrender unto something greater than ego. The deeper meaning of this Mercury retrograde has been to ride the waves of emotion and realise how the intuitive light within illuminates all kinds of conundrums. Issues surrounding this Mercury retrograde could linger a while, even as we go forward into an exciting Spring Equinox on Wednesday 20th ~> when Spirit Sun joins dynamic Mars and radical Uranus in the sign of the Ram. The Moon will be in Cancer then too, and the order of the day will be to proceed with caution. So no hard and fast pedal to the metal; take corners or shortcuts with careful ease and sensitivity, and take on board the lessons of the past few weeks, to be an aware and conscious being. _/\_

Mercury Retrograde in Aries ~> 12th March 2012

Strength often shines through in the most extraordinary circumstances during hard times. It’s as though the will to act and create comes directly from the source. In astrology we look to Aries for such bravery and the cosmic urge that powers and propels.

We are now in the run-up to Spring Equinox, at 0 degrees Aries; and Mercury, planet of the mind, went retrograde yesterday (12th March) in the sign of the Warrior. At the solar marker of equal-day equal-night Mercury will conjoin the Equinox Sun. Mercury rules the mind, and Aries individual assertion. In the coming weeks impetus and volition are subject to razor-sharp analysis - with potentially brilliant insight.

Note that throughout this retrograde period, when Mercury even leaves the sign of the Ram and goes back into Pisces (March 24th), to contemplate the end of certain matters, Mercury’s dominant healing challenge is actually in relation to the group-oriented Uranus, planet of dramatic change as well as humanitarian altruism. Both planets are airy and intellectual, combining to initiate unusual change, making contact three times. The first was only a few days ago (on 5th March); the second conjunction is on the 18th March, just before equinox; and again a month later on the 22nd April.

From the point of view of esoteric astrology this is an important series of conjunctions. Mercury is the esoteric ruler of Aries, suggesting the hot-headed Ram needs to be smart to make right action; and Uranus is the hierarchical ruler of Aries, accenting how one distinctively operates within the crowd. Recognising the value of each unique individual's heroic contribution in the process of collective evolution is the optimum way to ensure all talents are bravely actualised and accomplished.

Also worth baring in mind is that the Aries Mercury and Virgo Mars are not only both retrograde, but they are currently in 'mutual reception', i.e. Mars rules Aries and Mercury rules Virgo; so that the hero's 'right action' and 'right understanding' work well together, particularly with self-introspection. Mercury goes forward on the 4th April. And Mars goes forward on the 14th April; until which date we are advised to exercise patience and not be too rash or aggressive - in Buddhist thinking this is actually a good reminder that anger wipes out karmic merit in one fell swoop.

“The true hero is one who conquers his own anger and hatred”. ~ His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama

The Zodiac in relation to the Cosmos: Ophiucus, the 13th sign & the difference between the Western & Eastern Astrology

Various articles, such as this one sent to me by facebook friend, Jode (thank you x), are circulating the internet, and confusing people about which sign of the zodiac they are. Worry not! This is an ancient old issue that re-surfaces from time to time which is often the result of malcomprehension of different astrological systems, as well as someone (usually a mainstream journalist and his or her editor) not being able to take on board how there are many rules, guides and paths to the same cosmic understanding of self in relation to the cosmos. There are also many different kinds of people on planet Earth; thus we have different schools of astrology: Tropical Western, Sidereal Vedic Joytish Eastern, Chinese (Animal signs based upon the movement of Jupiter), Hellenistic Astrology, Siamese Astrology, Muslim Astrology, Tibetan Astrology etc (many more). And, in its own way, each of these disciplines is valid.

So in reply to this recent reassertion that you are not the sign you think you are (when you are!), and that there is a 13th sign of the zodiac, I ask you to bear with me, particularly if you are new to astrology, as there is a lot of information here to wrap one's head around - especially if you are going to take on a debunker at a dinner party!

Primarily, it is most important to know that our Western astrological system is time-based upon the seasons, which means that at Spring Equinox we put 0 degrees Aries as the starting point of our Zodiac. This is called 'The Tropical Zodiac' and most everyone in the Western world uses this (because after 5000+ years we know it works for us!).

And besides, and here I shall let you into a little known fact, the most important Tibetan Mandala for World Peace, the KALACHAKRA mandala (KALA = TIME, CHAKRA = WHEEL) is actually based upon this seasonal system for Sun, Moon and Earth.  From Tibetan point of view, this tropical zodiac, which starts at 0Aries - as the first day of Spring - has greater relevance in being able to attain natural harmony for world peace.

The other main astrological system is Eastern Vedic, space-based, by looking at the constellations, also called 'Sidereal' 'STAR TIME' or 'Joytish', which translates as 'the study of light'. Joytish astrology adjusts to a phenomena which happens because of the Earth's gyroscopic roation. This long and slow rotation is called 'the precession of equinoxes'.

The movement of Earth in connection to the cycles of the Sun and Moon is called 'precession of equinoxes', and it takes a little study (as it involves a 26,000 year cycle), and is why a person's Sun and planet signs often move backwards when comparing Western Astrology to Eastern astrology (i.e. from ARies to Pisces); Due to the sign coming on the eastern horizon at the Spring equinox now being 7ish Pisces, it is the Sidereal star backdrop, yet we in the West - because our zodiac is seasonal, call this Spring point of equal-day, equal-night, '0 degree Aries': the Vernal Equinox.

The difference between these degrees, between zodiacs 'Tropical' and 'Sidereal', has a technical term, called the 'ayanamsa'. The ayanamsa is the placement of the Sidereal constellation roughly 23 degrees of separation with the Seasonal sign. There was a time when sidereal and tropical, astronomy and astrology, all aligned, two thousand-ish years ago.  At that time a greater cycle, approx 26,000 years (which always goes backwards) called 'The Great Year' with phases of approximately 2000 years for each sign marking the passage of the Sun's rising at Spring Equinox.

The sign of the two fishes coming up at Spring Equinox, Pisces, coincided with the birth of Jesus, thus the sign of the Fish proliferated, as Vesica Pisces, and as a symbol of Christianity (& Magdalaine), invoking the tone of a collective sign to rise at Spring Equinox for the next two thousand years.

Now we are leaving a 2000-year Age of Pisces, to enter the Age of Aquarius (which is a whole other subject in itself) and .  The 'Precession of Equinoxes' is a complex subject, one which also involves the all-important eclipses which are the seriously cosmic turning- points.  If you are still with me, then well done! Its good to familiarize yourself with the spatial astronomy.

So let's move look now at the astrological phenomena which people also often misunderstand: Ophiuchus, the constellation between Scorpio and Sagittarius. Just for the record:  We never lost the 13th sign of Ophiuchus! For those born between November 28th and December 18th, we have always known about you (and others). It is just that we (the astrological Greeks and Europeans) chose not to include Ophiucus in our celestial equator, aka 'the ecliptic', the band around which the Sun travels through the zodiac. The tip of the snake's tail and the foot of Ophiuchus just slip into the ecliptic, but not enough of the actual constellation to be included in the SOLAR 12-sign zodiac. Of course there are astrologers who explain this portion of the sky when reading the horoscope, especially if the birth chart accents this sign. And its good to know about the innate healing qualities symbolized by this part of the sky, which features the rengenerative snake, as well as the shamanic healer AND is also close to the part of the sky called 'the Great Attractor'!

There are various myths and stories surrounding Ophiuchus, who holds the snake (kundalini shakti). Associated with the healing vibration of Asclepius, who also knew about snake medicine, taught both Chiron and Hippocrates, the latter being the father of modern medicine; Ophiucus is thought to even be Asclepius.

Astronomically speaking, Ophiuchus just happens to put his foot in between Scorpio and Sagittarius, at the same time the tail of his snake also touches the ecliptic. 'The ecliptic' is an 8 degree band in the sky, and is the celestial belt from which we measure time and seasons, as well as the passage of the Sun, Moon and planets. This belt is neatly divided into 12; and while we say that they are 30 degrees each = 360 of a circle, some signs are smaller or bigger than others, but still measured as 30 degrees.

This time-based system is symbolically 'ideal', full of beauty, myth and meaning, as opposed to being rigidly scientifically accurate only in measurement. Even the Indian Vedic space-based system also uses an idealised 30 degree measurement of the sign.

(Please note that Western astrology can also incorporate a Sidereal system: by integrating ‘Fixed Stars’ into the natal chart, with 'Stars' that aspect natal planets, meaning can be more precise, as well as using Nakshatras, the mansions of the Moon).

This is a mega astrology lesson. & I realise it is not soundbite friendly. If you have grasped this basic difference between two of the most used astrological systems in the world, I will be very happy because both are useful, but for different reasons! :)

And if you have any questions or comments then please ask. Thank you! _/\_
