☽ Sun in Cancer – Last Quarter Moon in Aries ~> ‘mutual reception’

Goddess Tara – Medicine Buddha Moon _/✿\_

Sun in Cancer – Last Quarter Moon in Aries

Due to an astrological association called ‘mutual reception’, this often tense combination of ‘The Lights’, at the Last Quarter Moon phase, can now actually work rather well. This is because both Sun and Moon are in signs in which the other is strengthened, i.e. the Sun is exalted in Aries and the Moon rules Cancer.

Goddess Tara now blesses this specific astral arrangement which enhances bravery as well as confidence, so that even unusually stressful conditions can quickly be resolved with courage and conviction. Also, as the hyper-sensitive Moon is currently conjunct Uranus, the planet of sudden surprise, events and ideas benefit from original thinking, uniquely outside any box. An impulsive quick change could easily lead to innovation – yet patience is still called for, especially when dealing with group situations, friends and technology. And as the Cancerian Sun also conjuncts Mars (the ruler of Aries) it’s compounds the momentum to make things happen, hopefully without becoming so self-absorbed that it kills empathy. Be aware that eradicating selfish elements (particularly within ones’ self) requires continual awareness, as well as tolerance, loving kindness, and repeated good intentions (so that one becomes familiar with raising the altruistic intention by doing what is best for everyone); and that catching ones’ self before frustration, resentment or anger takes over because others aren’t moving fast enough, or doing what we want, involves clear and objective self-awareness – and practice. For the spiritual warrior, each time we stop the mind from wandering into dangerous territory, where accumulated positive karma is wiped-out by anger in nanosecond, it's a victory towards liberation. Embrace such freedom now: there is no time like the present to increase compassion in action!

Chötrul Duchen ☼ March 5th Full Moon 18:05 @14Virgo_(❤)_

Full Moon Festival of Light! & Day of Miracles! Tashi Delek! _(❤)_.•✩¨¯`•☆٠.•..•¨*☽☀★☼

KARMA MULTIPLIED day x 100 million! (positive or negative)

Losar’s New Elemental Year of the Green Yin Wood Sheep began this lunation of miracles encouraging us to raise the altruistic intention, doing what is best for all beings; now the Moon culminates inspiring unconditional compassion and loving kindness.

*♥* The Virgo Moon highlights purification, dedication and practice, all the while reflecting the light of the devotional Pisces Sun, through prayer, meditation, yoga, music, dance, art (etc), internalising pure wisdom with an awareness of (the need for) real spiritual healing. Note how during this Virgo Full Moon the extraordinary can (and will) happen. Some of the suffering and pain encountered in this sea of Samsara could even melt into ether, especially when intuition is coupled with practicality to heal heartmind and body, that can even contribute to the healing of our planet.

*♥* Today's plethora of planets in Aries also excites LOVE into action. All the while the current conjunction of the Sun/Neptune/Chiron in Pisces suggests weaving through a confusing emotional maze demands decisive positive, if slightly unconventional thinking. Remain mindful. Assumptions can leave one vulnerable to negative emotion. Let go of expectations to outcomes now by being aware that ultimately everything is an illusion, but still allow space for dreams to manifest.

*♥* This Full Moon is furthest away from the Earth making this is one of the years’ smallest Full Moons. This doesn’t mean a ‘micro moon’ will be any less powerful, but it may well mean we can get to the root of problems, thus making it less likely to engage with issues that hurt, such as abandonment or lack of information or support, and enable us to make a real commitment to tame the mind, healing ourselves as well as others, in order to experience love, beauty, peace, devotion and union with the Divine.

Chötrul Duchen's blessings to everyone! May all our good karma multiply so that all beings can be happy! & Happy Holi, 'Festival of Colour' to Indian friends! _/❤\_

❤ “Om Tara Tutare Ture Soha” Tara Moon Jan15

12th/13th January __/\__Tara Moon ~> The Capricorn lunation’s last quarter healing Moon in Libra calls upon Tara, the beautiful Goddess of Compassion, as the Envoy of Peace, to save us from being overwhelmed by fear, anxiety, or other earthly concerns. Secure in the support of the Divine Feminine (within), now is the time to seek a calm place of rest (before the next new moon January 20th), somewhere to reflect, feed the soul, and absorb the inherent fractal beauty of creation.
This last quarter Moon is also conjunct the destiny-fulfilling North Node, where a fair and just future currently beckons. Thus the astral message is to follow your heart: Do whatever makes you feel love, balanced and in harmony with the world. In the nicest possible way, let go of all that which prevents spiritual practice, all the while mindful of how karma multiplies. Any judgment should be directed towards forgiveness, to free the heart-mind and allow the healing LoveLight to shine in all ten directions.

✫ Miracles Days 12 & 13 (13th/14th March) ☽ ♌

On the 12th day, the light radiating from Gautama Shakyamuni Buddha purified the three poisons (ignorance, aversion & attachment), developing loving kindness in all beings. On the 13th day, light beamed from Buddha’s heart-mind, within each atom the Buddha Dharma, filling the whole of space with an infinite Buddhafield. _/♥\_

☽ ♌ With only two days until the Full Miracle Moon, the Moon is still in Leo, accumulating the light that shines from within, so that each individual self-illuminates to pacify negative thoughts, traits, or actions, with the antidotes of loving kindness, forgiveness and compassion.

☆The generous and loving Leo Moon is also next to Pallas Athena, urging one to have a plan; with the Moon and Pallas now part of a fleeting but strong mystic rectangle a practical four-point plan can 1) work confidently with others in a co-operative and peaceful manner (and deal with the retrograde Mars in Libra). 2) Communicate clearly the altruistic intention, and finalise thoughts/ideas from late January and wave goodbye to that sticky Mercury Saturn square. 3) Bring about the change you want to see by being strong and determined (without being impetuous). 4) Shine gifts and talents to assure self-satisfaction (without being egotistical) and help others at the same time = win-win. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ _/\_

New Pisces Moon seeding COMPASSION before Spring Equinox __/❤\__

Seven celestial bodies are now creating a very rare cosmic shoal in Pisces, as Neptune, Chiron, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun AND Mars, are all in the sign of the fish, making today’s new moon @19:51GMT (15:51EST), at 21Pisces, extraordinary in its breadth of vision, focus, and concentrated in its depth of feeling.

In esoteric astrology, Pisces is ‘The Light of the WORLD’ and its symbol of the two Fishes swimming in opposite directions connects EARTH to HEAVEN. Though this energy is mutable and dualistic, we are magically linked together to become ONE with each other and the universe.

Pisces also rules the world of dreams, messages of the night that can illuminate visions of future prophesies, as well as be symbolic of past fears and self-delusion.

In Buddhism all life is seen as illusion, ‘Maya’, that elusive interplay between substance and energy, form and personality, that merges the mind in a magical dance which can deceive us from acknowledging our true nature of light and love, thus keeping us bound to Samsara, locked into the Wheel of Existence. The ‘Mind Stream’ is the ‘continuum’ which flows from life to life in this Sea of Samsara. Yet Sogyal Rinpoche reminds us that Samsara and Nirvana are both sides of the same coin and we can choose which to focus upon: "Samsara is the mind turned outwardly lost in its projections. Nirvana is the mind turned inwardly towards it‘s true nature”.

At this amazing new Pisces Moon, now is the time to awaken to Nirvana and become enlightened through the Piscean Light of the World, open the heart-mind and third eye, plant the seed of unconditional COMPASSION, and be unified in wisdom and loving kindness.

Chandrakirti (7th Century Himalayan Saint) said “At the beginning, COMPASSION is like a seed; in the middle, it is like water; at the end, it is like a fruit. Achieving the result of full enlightenment is all due to COMPASSION”

Loving Light of the Equinox Sun ~ Spring 2010

Feeling a spring in your step? We fast approach the Vernal Solstice (in the northern hemisphere) at 17:32 GMT Saturday the 20th, and from here on the sap rises from under our feet energising renewed life into plants and bones, tired from this long hard winter. When the Sun moves into Aries, where is it exalted, we’re encouraged to shine with lifted spirits and praise the light of our innate intelligence. Aware each of us has a gift to bring to the world and, thinking long-term, as the light of the Sun increases, the Sun in Aries now marking the beginning of the zodiac, gives the go-ahead to invest energy into that talent.

The nature of the Sun is to shine upon everyone – without exception. Our Sun’s luminous rays do not discriminate who deserves its’ heat and light. Everyone equally benefits from the radiating sun. Feeling the blissful warmth of the Sun’s rays we sense tenderness, love and compassion that can be shared all around. The Sun is also in good aspect to Mars in Leo; this aspect is dynamic, healthy and playful; our goals can be reached with determination and, because Saturn is also involved in this celestial equation, cultivating helpful allies pays dividends.

At this time of equal day–equal night, yin and yang can balance within, connecting us to courage, strength and willpower, individually and collectively, to deal with an extraordinary Equinox: The Sun illuminates Saturn, Lord of karma by opposition; and squares transformational Pluto, planet of extremes. Days after the Equinox, on the 23rd, the Moon moves into Cancer; here we witness the start of ‘The Cardinal Cross’ of 2010, which dominates this year’s heavens. This rare and unusual formation suggests we need to access our own individual ‘Spiritual Sun’, and grow the radiant glow that illuminates from within - the light that loves, forgives and heals. The way we allow our personal luminosity to expand is to be willing to accept and adjust, which is not always easy. The agent of change is in the spirit of spiritual warrior, working in co-operation to co-create. Together we can conquer our first challenge: to overcome any fear and trepidation of what the current development might bring. No one ever said it was easy - but the heavens only reflect what we are capable of. Humanity is much more amazing than we often give ourselves credit for.

One of the main features of this Grand Cardinal Cross is the Saturn square to Pluto. This square is symbolic of the current spate of destructive earthquakes. Mythological Pluto (or Hades as he is also known), when he grabbed Persephone, the lord of death reached his hand up through a gaping, earth-quake like chasm to abduct the young maiden who innocently picked wild-flowers. Persephone (aka Prosperina or Kora) has a duel role, as both Spring Queen and, almost unwittingly, she is Goddess of the Underworld. So she represents our blameless naivety as well as lost innocence. Persephone’s Mother, Demeter, the Earth Mother, was distraught at her daughter’s abduction. After much mourning and searching for her violated offspring, Persephone was found in the underworld, where she had already taken a bite out of Pluto’s domain by eating pomegranate seeds (symbolic of sexual indulgence). A deal was struck, between Pluto and the Earth Mother, who had by that time ignored her crops, vegetation and people: for Persephone, i.e. light and life, returns to the overworld for half the year, which she does at spring, only to descend again for winter. So it seems rather fitting that at this Spring Equinox, a time of renewed possibilities that we have Pluto shaking Mother’s Earth’s ground again, as he is in hard aspects to earthy Saturn – ‘Old Father Time’ Saturn is also Demeter’s father – This is an old grudge match about resources, justice and fecundity.

Interestingly, Saturn rules authority, empire, and all that keeps us contained; Pluto lords over controlling big business - as well as secrets, and Pluto is now in Saturn’s sign. Playing cards close the chests may prove difficult for all those in positions of power. Yet still they try, even if secrecy breeds indignation to the notion of fairness; the Aries Sun anc Cardinal Cross will illuminate underhand dealings. Key words for this transit are “responsible relationship” challenging “obsessive ambition".

Yet everyone is feeling the pinch, even the wealthy. If it's not fincances making them take note of finite interests, it will be something else, a relationship perhaps, or legal matters. Few escape Pluto's long-term generational influence and its' call to transform.

Symbolically speaking, Earth Mother will nurture love and protect unconditionally, while we all need to reconsider the rape of the Earth’s resources. Holding accountable those who plunder and pillage in the name of personal power is a challenge. Even in the face of sustainability, greed, avarice and ignorance may well continue to prevail. But with or without humanity, our planet Earth will regenerate herself - eventually.

The Vernal Equinox is also the start of the Kalachakra calendar, indicating time to meditate for world peace: peace within, peace without, and peace on the planet.

As always, thanks & appreciation to unknown artists.
