⊚ Leo Eclipse at the Loving Heart of the Solar Dragon King (Rahu) - August 2017

☆ •°*☾ ☀️☽ * Solar Eclipse 29° Leo *☾☀️☽ *°•.☆

... ⊚ πŸ™Karma multiplied day x 100 million ... ⊚

A second New Moon in Sun-ruled Leo reveals why Leo is the sign of fiery drama, razzmatazz and all kinds of theatrics – celestial or otherwise! Eclipses also always create a buzz; and although there are two sets of Lunar and Solar every year (six months apart) it may be because this is the first of its kind on US land since the birth of global connecting TV and internet, making it an eclipse of epic interest. So while energies get stirred up, as they always do during an eclipse, especially a sensational Leo Eclipse, please go easy out there!

This is a time for Spiritual Warriors to emanate self-awareness with a natural warmth towards everyone.

Now known as the 'Great American Eclipse of 2017', tomorrow’s New Moon Solar Eclipse will cut a shadowy swathe across the continent, from Oregon to South Carolina, with the Moon aligning in front of the golden Sun, blocking Sol’s light. Though it ends in Brazil, an eclipse like this has not been through the middle of the US since 1918. The next one similar is in 2024, which will start in Mexico and end in Canada. This Eclipse is therefore a rare moment in time for the western world.

During the time of a total Eclipse of the Sun (check www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/ for your time zone): in this case for 2 whole minutes darkness descends upon daylight for senses to be heightened and psychic subtle energy enhanced, all of which is especially powerful while Sun and Moon conjoin at the majestic Sun-ruled heart of the Leo Lion, accenting the power of love and the dignified strength, courage, and kindness of a tender, open heart.

All-the-while the sky darkens other planets will also be seen flanking the Sun: Venus and Mars (on the right), and Jupiter on Sun’s left. Eagle eyes may even spot the currently retrograde Mercury, and perhaps most importantly alongside Fixed Royal Star, Regulus pinpointing the exact heart of the Lion, (giving rise to the predictions about the demise of certain leaders in prominent positions; and needing to be aware how an eclipse on this star, since the ancient Babylonians, has indicated the fall of those whose motivation is questionable).

Although fiery Leo is a self-orientated sign, it is also generous, playful and artistic. Even in difficult situations Leo will shine when connecting to the creative flow. There’s no doubt this will be (a collective) Solar Eclipse to remember in this transformational year of the Phoenix Fire Bird Fire Trine, in which the blazing Leo Sun and Moon now star (with retro Uranus in Aries & retro Saturn in Sagittarius). There are six planets in retrograde at the moment (yes, 6!) indicating a time of major reflection. So wherever you are, if at all possible stop what you are doing for those two precious minutes and take time to appreciate and meditate upon the innate power of love and raise the planetary vibration out of fear into that of love. Intention is all.

Make yourself comfortable and take the time to appreciate nature and breathe in the potency of a natural PEACE into your centre, then exhale LOVE directing it out into the world to filter through the unseen and create a veritable force field of goodness and light.

The outside world may go dark, but from inside us all shines a golden treasure, a preious jewel that is pure homespun gold radiating from within.

This innate and intuitive inner-light will always guide us – all we have to do is to tune in…

ΰ₯_/|_ ΰ₯_/\_ΰ₯_/\_ .........

....to end on a practical note, please do not under any circumstance look at the Sun without eclipse glasses until totality, when you take them off, but remember to put them back on as totality comes to a close!

Prayers also for clear skies for beloved American family and friends.

With β„’β„΄Ρ΅β„― & Light ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸
Wishing One & All an enlightening Leo Solar Eclipse

✴️️ Gemini Full Supermoon ~> tuning into the 'higher' mind December 2016

Important characteristics that encourage a healthy mind and happy heart come into celestial focus during this week’s Full Moon, with principles, discipline, and the practice of patience karmically rewarded. Now the Sun is in ethical Sagittarius, it emphasises the need to remain open and flexible. The wise Archer in opposition to the bright Gemini Moon also urges one to heed the call to restrain thoughts, words and deeds which are divisive or harsh, otherwise many previous good actions will be negated.

In order to get the best from situations, and to avoid falling into any nasty pitfalls that could manifest during this lively, highly-spirited Full Gemini Moon, tune into your ‘higher mind’ – the mind that lives in your heart, the mind which instinctively ‘knows’ right from wrong. And while you do, as the Full Moon reaches exact culmination on 14th December @ 00:05UT, you may also need to (perform pranayama and/or) count to ten in wind-up situations (especially those with an ‘us’ and ‘them’, i.e. within politics, communities, law and in-laws); otherwise you risk becoming like the cartoon Simpson’s character, the grizzled old curmudgeon, Mr Burns.

We all know that while Burns may be rich, he isn’t happy, nor is his karma shiny and clean. Nor is he a bundle of joy to be around, especially in the run up to Solstice and Christmas. But who, in the astrological pantheon, thrives on that kind of humbug?! Old Father Time, Saturn, that’s who. Yet he, aka Burns, is also exactly whom we should invite to the upcoming feast of Saturnalia (17th Dec for 10 days). For this is Saturn’s time to assess achievements and prepare for 2017, a year of awakening with the exciting new year of the Yang Fire Bird that begins with the New Aquarius Moon in January; this is when the overall expansiveness moves from the wayward Fire Monkey towards the fiery Rooster; like a Phoenix Firebird we may even be able to rise in splendour from any proverbial ashes.

Meanwhile, this last of 2016’s Full Moons is also the last in our series of three Full Supermoons; a fitting moment to ask ourselves if being with and supporting those who are not above board, potentially destroying health and happiness for the sake of promised comfort and security, is worth all the probable sorrow and trouble. Basically, this Full Gemini Super Moon is not for hand-wringing or soul-searching, but one where we consider the way our cogent mind works, the plasticity of shaping what we think about, and how coherently we transmit that information, all the while seeking methods in which we can train ourselves to live in truth, with freedom of expression and thought, without it being a rampaging free-for-all when planning our future: especially as we need standards met and values kept intact.

Full SuperMoons are also ‘supercharged’; there’s no denying it’s been a wild, roller coaster three months for many, in varying degrees of intensity (depending upon the activity in your personal horoscope). If you’ve been having a rough ride lately, take heart: there isn’t another Full Supermoon to create the kind of extreme stress we have recently witnessed (compounded by this year’s Mutable Cross) until December 2017. This is not to say the geophysical, emotional or rational world remains unchanged or unchallenged until then, as there are New Supermoons mid 2017, as well aseclipses which also emphasis major turning points. With our next eclipse at the end of February.

In the meantime, the 23° Sagittarian Sun is currently with karmic Saturn, illuminating the closest Full Moon to the Solstice turning point in Capricorn on the 22nd December (which is ruled by Saturn). This is not a Full Moon to let down’s one guard: it’s actually time to get real and take responsibilities seriously, to generate a fearless wisdom by practicing self-control – which can admittedly be a challenge for the venturesome Sagittarian who thrives on impulse and risk.

Sagittarius is the sign which positively buzzes with a sense of adventure, one that enjoys having an overview of situation. With the World their playground, Sagittarius climbs to the highest peak to see the panoramic picture in any event. But restricitive Saturn with Sun can, for whatever reason (usually fear), inhibit the revelation of higher visions. Truths revealed in questing, by the carefree Sagittarius daring to seek, are only successful when the spirit is generous and malice is absent.

Yet because traditional Saturn is journeying together with the far-sighted, futurist Centaur, the heavens now urge us to put personal life into perspective. Saturn demands that we feel the fear that stops us from doing whatever our archer’s arrow is aimed at; and, before shooting from the hip, weigh-up pros and cons, and do it anyway (whatever that ‘it’ might be), but with more caution, greater planning and less recklessness.

Timely Saturn, the radiant Sun and reflective Moon are also in a tight ‘T’ square to Shamanic Chiron, as well in easy aspect to liberating Uranus AND freedom-loving Jupiter. This energising aspect suggest a prospective awakening to an innate positivity, and a power for healing that lies deep within. Compounding the heaven’s healing theme, Sun and Saturn are also currently conjunct Fixed Star ‘Ras Alhague’: i.e. the head of the snake, held by the astral healer in the (controversial 13th sign) Ophiuchus. Sun and Saturn shining with this star signify renewal and healing though a powerful snake medicine, which has the ability repair recent as well as long-term damage. Ophiuchus is a medicine man who also has the power to cure through dreams, songs and poetry. It’s a perfect time, especially as Luna begins her three-night brilliance on Monday night, to tune into those mysterious messages of the night and note any healing qualities that lie in the liminal space between dream and reality.

Another sign that Saturn and Sun are in a good position to do the right thing is the current ‘mutual disposition’ between Saturn and Jupiter, the planet which rules Sagittarius. Mutual disposition occurs when each of the planets connect via the signs they occupy: i.e. Sagittarius (where Saturn is now) is ruled by Jupiter; at the same time Jupiter is in Libra, the sign of Saturn’s exaltation. So you can see how each of these planets work together to now get the best out of each other. And while the sextile that forms between Libra and Sagittarius doesn’t actually perfect until the end of August 2017, we are in the throes of this wonderfully cultured and richly exotic aspect that aids one to be realistic in all ambitions that have a philosophical appreciation of beauty and truth as their premise.

Luna is also conjunct Fixed Star El Nath, a star associated with the sharp tip of the Bull’s horn and as such portends aggressive weaponry. According to astrologer Bernadette Brady, this star is not necessarily used for war, but peace, and is linked to those who work assertively and bravely for peace as a part of their personal identity. So as the year comes to a close its worth looking at 21° Gemini in your own horoscope, to confirm how you, as spiritual warrior, use your mind as a sharp weapon for peace.

With that, and even though Gemini’s ruler, Mercury, is about to retrograde just before Solstice on the 19th, making it necessary to go over old ground, from solid-old Capricorn back into exploratory Sagittarius, I wish you, and all beings, Peace on Earth during the Festive Solstice season _/\_ & a very happy 2017 :)

☯ ☼ ☾ New Libra Peace & LOVE Moon _/|\_

☯ ☼ ☾ A New Libra Moon approaches; time now to set our intention to bring PEACE and LOVE, serenity and balance into our lives. At 0:07 Universal Time (can I hear someone humming the Bond theme? ;) ) on the 12th/13th October, Sun and Moon join at 19 degrees in the sign of the scale, to unite ideals and people that seek justice and truth.

☯ ☼ ☾ Libra is suave and sophisticated, passionate about harmony and beauty; and as ‘The Lights’ come to oppose Uranus in Aries, the planets indicate change comes by being braver and more conscious about how to accomplish splendour in our environment, and harmony in relationship. In areas of conflict, dialogue functions best when working for the benefit of all parties. When still and silent, we may even be aware how the real enemy lies within: muster strength and learn to love our demons and pacify a restless ego with kindness not cruelty, in fairness not indulgence. And by the time of the last of autumn’s three supermoons on the 27th October, we could see a triumph of transformation, emotional as well as spiritual.

Apart from All Hallow's Eve, also this lunar month we will celebrate Lord Buddha's decent from the God Realms of the 33, November 3rd. _/\_ One of the most important Buddhist practice days of the year.

☾ ◯☽ New Moon in Aries 2015

☽★☼ Brave heart Aries is a passionate and fiery sign; with courage and a cause to champion, Aries also has a delightfully playful impulsive streak that dares venture into the unknown with a willingness to be open and genuine (if slightly naive and innocent). All of which can be very exciting, as well as refreshing, as Aries tends to bring in and reveal the novel and new with speed, and often a bang.

☽★☼ Our brilliant Sun is now exalted in Aries, radiating the illuminating ‘Light of Life’. Today’s New Moon in Aries ( Saturday 18th April, at 19:55 bst) ignites this divine spark, encouraging inner-light to shine from within. The Sun also rules the right eye in men and the left eye in women; thus this Aries New Moon sharpens a Spiritual Warrior’s vision to turn the gaze in towards 'the self'. Look to 28 Aries in your horoscope and note any Aries spontaneous revelations that allow clarification, to suddenly see things in a new light, especially issues sullied by (personal) anger, resentment, or other negative emotions that make it difficult to move on. Now is the time to be the Spiritual Warrior, one who has courage to exercise patience - with oneself and others, to start removing obscuration to enlightenment, and be ready to reap actual rewards at the Full Moon May 4th. And though it may be premature to say, but with Mars (the ruler of Aries) now at the very same degree as the coming Full Moon, set your intention wisely: there is an unshakable quality to one's mission 'May the fourth be with you' ;) !

⊚ Lunar Eclipse in Libra ~> April 4th 2015

Karma Multiplied Day x 100,000
☽★☼ In this year of the Green Yin Wood Goat/Sheep, it is the season of spring, of natural new growth and stability, that has extra emphasis due to the Wood element’s association to spring (each element has a seasonal propensity). Any helpful new shoots now in evidence (be they metaphorical) should be positively encouraged. Summer will be good for the Sheep wending peaceful progression too, but as the essence of Wood is likened to Western astrology’s Air element, the astral influence is a windy spring. Solar winds are also currently streaming in from the Sun, charging up Earth’s atmosphere with what might even be called solar vayu, the prana of consciousness: a magical and nourishing wind air. Meditators and the inherently sensitive may now even sense the winds of change blowing in some surprising breakthroughs, especially so with a full Blood Moon Lunar eclipse on the rise.

☽★☼ The element of Air is brought further into focus because the equinox Full Moon is in Libra (exact 13:05gmt). Libra is a leading Air sign, social and friendly, seeking peace and beauty in all relationships. And in opposition to the speedy and fearless (i.e. headstrong and impatient!) Arian Spiritual Warrior that could push for faster transmutation, the balanced Libran influence has the equipoise and potential to harmonise relationships a self-cherishing ego has with all kinds of significant other(s). This, then, is a Full Moon to align the me-we axis, so that both party's needs and ambitions are met.

☽★☼ During this kind of eclipse a practiced yogi may also be aware of the internal winds; the vayu which course through the body. As Yoga Tantra teaches, winds which carry the prana throughout the body can, at the time of an eclipse, relax celestially related channels: so much so the tantrika can release (karmic) knots, so the heart-mind can be truly transformed and liberated to freely practice loving kindness. Yet while this kind of high-level meditation takes years if not lifetimes of practice and guidance, we mere baby Bodhisattvas may also feel some kind of (collective) shift awakening the senses to bliss and beauty, wisdom and compassion.

♂ Spiritual Warrior brings balance to self & others with Mars in Libra ♂ ♎

The dynamic planet of action, fiery Mars, is now at the very last ‘anaretic’ 29 degree of Virgo, meaning the zodiac’s warrior is about to leave the sign of health, work and routine, and change signs and move into Libra, the sign of the balancing scales. Mars in Libra is considered a tough placement for the martial planet, as Libra is the sign of love, harmony and peace – seeking the line of least resistance, where everyone’s needs get met; whereas competitive Mars generally prefers to build empires or fight trials with gung-ho might and strength. Mars in Libra, however, is in the sign where Love Goddess Venus is at home, and is where the heroic Spiritual Warrior learns to disarm, to mediate and to defend, protect and act in the name of amity, justice and LOVE.

Take note: this is no ordinary passage through Libra, as Mars usually spends just over a month in a sign; but this lesson in learning Love and ahimsa, non-violence at all costs, is no less than 8 months long, as Mars will go retrograde at the beginning of March 2014, as 27 Libra, and go all the way back to 9 Libra on May the 20th, when the scarlet planet turns direct; this planetary dynamo finally leaves Libra July 26th 2014.
Those born in the 50’s may feel the need to passionately defend ideals and dreams; Those both 1968-75 could shield peers and teams with greater enthusiasm; while those born in 1982-83 could well question the balance of power in love and law, without becoming embroiled in psychological or political games.  Ultimately, Mars in Libra is about learning to balance the heart-mind in a gentle and loving manner.

In the words of Sitting Bull, “Warriors are not what you think of as warriors.  The warrior is not someone who fights, because none has the right to take another’s life. The warrior, for us, is one who sacrifices himself for the good of others.

His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who cannot provide for themselves, and above all, the children, the future of humanity”

Sun Mars Mercury opposition Saturn ~April-May 2013

The Lights (Sun & Moon) present a see-saw dynamism today, swinging up-down from judgemental pessimism to enthusiastic optimism in fairly equal measures. Thus, for the spiritual practitioner, the middle path beckons, particularly when working on what’s important. Perform all tasks with a happy heart, as Spirit Sun and warrior Mars oppose karmic Saturn, accenting personal responsibility for duties and situations that challenge, demand patience and a practical application. Being disciplined can be incredibly rewarding and pave the way for accomplishment. Today's far-sighted Sagittarian Moon opposite Jupiter provides hope and optimism, especially when living in truth.

Be aware: there’s a tendency to gloss over veracity, loyalty and/or integrity with Jupiter square Neptune. So it’s good to be mindful that with over exuberant quackery one can fool oneself - and others - into thinking spiritual materialism is the real deal. ChΓΆgyam Trungpa Rinpoche says that “As long as a person is involved with warfare (or conniving in ambition or relationship), trying to defend or attack, then his action is not sacred; it is mundane, dualistic, a battlefield situation.” The thoughts in brackets are mine, but here C.T. Rinpoche suggests the main work to do (especially this week, as Sun, Mars & Mercury sequentially oppose taskmaster Saturn in Scorpio) is upon the ego and letting go of egoic desire and delusion, however tough and laborious that may be Sun, Mars & Mercury do provide determination and stamina. And today we have jolly Jupiter to gee-up the sphere of benevolence and forgiveness, which can take the edge off being too hard upon anyone, especially ourselves.

Throughout this week, loving Venus conjunct the Taurus South Node is the astral reminder to always come from the HEART __/❤\__

Full Libra Moon ~ March 27th '13

☽☆☾★☼ ❤۞❤☼★☽☆☾

Wednesday the 27th's Full Moon in Libra at 9:27gmt (5:27EST) accents the power of individual LOVE, TRUTH and FREEDOM, uniting to be at ONE, with self, loved ones, friends, a team or even society. This is quite a powerful influence, as the harmonious and relationship orientated Libra Moon opposes Spirit Sun exalted in Aries, next to loving Venus, and the current Mars-Uranus conjunction rousing impulsive if not heroic quick change – be that change within ourselves, loved ones or peer group.

With so many planets in the sign of assertive and courageous Aries, understanding the position of ‘hero’ is imperative. In Buddhism the hero is not one who conquers by slaying the innocent and perceived foes. Our heroes are Spiritual Warriors who gently overcome destructive desires and aversions to liberate his or her own ego

So while this brilliant mid-week Libra Moon provides illuminating insight onto self, particularly in relationship, the planets also indicate self-love is an important factor when being with friends, or in fast-moving situations, when raising altruism also melts away fiery anger and ego. To valiantly put the benefit of others before self is the Bodhisattva ideal; doing so actually makes us more compassionate, likeable and sociable. Accepting this may not always be easy with the materialistically driven ego stimulated at every turn, practice makes perfect. And even if we don’t always succeed in caring for others in the manner to which we aspire, it’s important not to berate one’s self, but to now make necessary adjustments to character - and strategy, and recognise personal good points that can be developed and relied upon in the future. ❤ This is the way of the heart

Astro-tech: Also worth bearing in mind is how, in Esoteric Astrology, the hierarchical ruler of Aries is Uranus, the eccentric visionary planet which emphases the unique talent that each person brings to the collective. Thus the Aries individuality and its call for brave action perfom best when the focus is upon working with others, making the world a better place. Alone we may not make a difference, but together we can - and put on a great show

New Libra Moon ~> Oct 2012

Change is now very much in the air. The leaves are turning colour and falling – slowly (in northern hemisphere), and tomorrow’s new Libra Moon (at 13:02 British Summer time, 8:02EST) highlights the need for LOVE and a peaceful heart-mind in the midst of continued transformation, as well as a realistic view and practical plan in order to concretise dreams.

Luckily, dynamic Mars, currently in soul-se

eking Sagittarius, prompts our Spiritual Warrior into action. The scarlet planet makes spectacular celestial aspects in this fresh quest for truth, respect, and freedom; now separating from a confrontation with nebulous Neptune, clouds of confusion could even be lifting – though the intensity of concerns persists. Yet with personal responsibility accepted, authority riven veils may also lift to reveal a crack of light in the darkness. The way is thus clearing for potential growth (difficult, slow and rewarding) and/or quick-change (much easier, especially when seen as part of a long-term process).

At the same time as tomorrow’s new moon (at 22 degrees Libra) – which holds a mixed celestial message of loving kindness and harmony through special insight and responsible engagement – fiery Mars forms an intense but helpful trine (120 degrees) aspect to awakening Uranus; this, (due to Mars being the ruler of Aries, the sign in which Uranus currently resides) is a particularly strong connection that instills bravery and rallies competition, be that with self or others. Passions may therefore also be quick to rise throughout this dark and new Moon phase.

It’s a wise Spiritual Warrior who now implements self-initiated change within one’s own personality and lifestyle, anticipating compromise in relations to others before getting too hot under the Martian collar. Best bear in mind how anger wipes out any hard-earned points in the karmic merit bank, and know there is strength to be gained as mindful self-improvement makes for an altruistic heart.

The collective higher mind is currently evolving by transmuting selfishness into selflessness; tap into this mind set and it will be surprisingly easier to experience connectivity, co-operation, and spiritual liberation. Alice A. Bailey refers to the energy surrounding a Libra moon such as this as the opportunity to "escape from opposing forces at the midway point between the source and the goal", which is the point of balance and beauty.
