LOVE HEALS ~> Equinox New Moon in Libra Sept '19

Just when we think nothing makes sense, along comes the potent power of LOVE that swiftly heals the broken heart, wounded spirit, or grazed ego. With today's New Libra Moon @14:26EDT directly connecting to Chiron Shaman, releasing from within a pivotal - if slightly wild and new moment in relationship that can assuage old hurt. It’s not just relationship with a significant other that shape-shifts into being. This relationship could also acknowledge the ways in which we accidently, for whatever reason, harmed ourselves, and/or others. So the relationship pin pointed for healing (@2-7Aries-Libra in the chart) can also be with one's self, (via work, money, house, car, thoughts, desires, memories, habits), as well as one's partner, the cat, your parents, boss, Guru, God, Goddess, or indeed even nature itself.
Four personal planets in harmonious Libra remind us there is nothing in the world goes further or deeper than love, healing everything it meets and touches heart-mind, body and soul.
Relationship is all we take with us in the end.
So it’s worth weighing up our relationship karmic merit upon Libran scales now, going into a new season, to see where balances and checks need to be made, as Libra – Divine Intellectual Feminine, Goddess of Love, Peace and Justice, Holder of the Sword of Truth, acknowledges that part of the preciousness of being human comes with clarity, love and diplomacy. And with Sun, Moon, Venus (at home) and Mercury, all now in cool and reasonable Libra, this New Moon marks a time to breathe easy and open one's heart to love, and to be kind to ourselves and others, even when powerful solar winds stream earthbound once again to mark this passing Equinox; and Mercury approaches Uranus this week as fast changing New Moon winds pick-up speed towards the First Quarter. The challenge will be to stay Zen and rest on centre.
Personal Bests are not as important as harmonious relations. If being competitive with one self, you may need also to apply extreme self-care. Be aware the next Medicine Buddha Moon, Oct 5th, at the First Quarter Moon, is also the 8th of 10 of this year’s very rare run of Moon-Saturn occultations, which are turning out to indicate massive sympathy with Mother Earth, and public grievance as much as corporate corruption and other dastardly. wordly affairs. Even though many are now awakening to a life of spiritual world service, we must also remember how the art of healing also includes care time, personal discipline, and practical responsibility; and that also means being realistic about current compassion in action.

☯ ☼ ☾ New Libra Peace & LOVE Moon _/|\_

☯ ☼ ☾ A New Libra Moon approaches; time now to set our intention to bring PEACE and LOVE, serenity and balance into our lives. At 0:07 Universal Time (can I hear someone humming the Bond theme? ;) ) on the 12th/13th October, Sun and Moon join at 19 degrees in the sign of the scale, to unite ideals and people that seek justice and truth.

☯ ☼ ☾ Libra is suave and sophisticated, passionate about harmony and beauty; and as ‘The Lights’ come to oppose Uranus in Aries, the planets indicate change comes by being braver and more conscious about how to accomplish splendour in our environment, and harmony in relationship. In areas of conflict, dialogue functions best when working for the benefit of all parties. When still and silent, we may even be aware how the real enemy lies within: muster strength and learn to love our demons and pacify a restless ego with kindness not cruelty, in fairness not indulgence. And by the time of the last of autumn’s three supermoons on the 27th October, we could see a triumph of transformation, emotional as well as spiritual.

Apart from All Hallow's Eve, also this lunar month we will celebrate Lord Buddha's decent from the God Realms of the 33, November 3rd. _/\_ One of the most important Buddhist practice days of the year.

☯ ☼ ☾ Image is of Vishnu, the Preserver, with his Sun disk, the Sudashana chakra, to invoke ‘a vision which is fortunate’. _/|\_ ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸

P.S. In case anyone is wondering why illustrate with Hindu deities, my lineage is Kalachakra, the all inclusive time-wheel in which Vishnu also features _/\_

Happy New Moon everyone, with ℒℴѵℯ ॐ, from Laura

☯ 22nd-23rd September ~> Dark Moon Equinox: Changes in the year of the Horse @4:29bst (10:29Est)

✣ From a personal perspective, this equinox accents the need for harmonious relations and healthier emotions. From the worldly perspective, it’s interesting to note the major theme of the collective’s focus, especially when a ‘generational’ planet does something special at a Cardinal solar marker (Uranus, Neptune & Pluto are generational planets), highlighting collective karma. Because energy flows where attention goes, such matters can dictate how the masses are feeling at a time of the Sun’s naturally important turning points. I mention this now because this Dark Moon Equinox is marked by transformational Pluto, planet of oligarchs and hidden, underworld shadows, now going forward after a five month retrograde. Pluto bearing down at 11degrees Capricorn (and anyone with cardinal planets at this degree will also be re-emerging from an internal restructuring), suggests those in positions of power are emerging from a core reform that can impact the health of Mother Earth: Today’s announcement that a family of investors (Pluto) are looking to divest fossil fuel and put their energy into renewables (also Pluto) is rather encouraging, just as hundreds of thousands took to the streets, across the globe, to proclaim the need for an awareness of climate change due to human-made pollution (again Pluto, but also Neptune).

✣ Equinox is also a time of balancing opposites, light and dark, warm and cool, old and new, desire and gratitude. The New Libra Moon on Wednesday 24th encourages confidence and change. As Sun & Moon move into harmonizing Libra, those of us in the northern hemisphere can begin to embrace the feminine and receptive, cool inward yin; while in the southern hemisphere Sun’s yang summer light is growing. One last point to note is how auroras often accompany equinoxes, and in a moonless sky Northern Lights could be quite dramatic, with just a wisp of solar winds to stir heart-mind into action. _/\_ ૐ•´¯`•.¸¸.

☯ Libra New Moon Oct'13

☼ New Moon 11 Libra, at 1:34am UT

In the language of symbols, the Libran scales represents a social sign, seeking love, peace and fairness in all relations. And although famous for sitting on the fence, often being indecisive because of being a people-pleaser not wanting to upset anyone, the aforementioned ideals to which this highly evolved and elegant sign aspires also require a certain kind of cool balance and equipoise, which the only machine in the zodiac can beautifully harmonise.

With an ability to engage and come from the heart yet at the same time remain emotionally detached is Libra’s rare gift, especially when mediating stressful situations – of which there currently seem to be quite a few, as Sun and New Moon square up to the challenging Cardinal Cross (that comes in and out of cosmic play for next seven months). Interestingly, this New Moon provides an opening for a liberating and innovative heroic awareness which stems from having an altruistic intention: for all beings to be happy and free from suffering. And when Libra’s ruler, the Love Goddess Venus, changes signs in a few days, remaining composed and stable whilst still seeing (and working) the bigger picture gives the heart-mind space to grow, as well as protection from getting hooked into the eight worldly concerns: praise and blame, fame and disrepute, success and failure, pleasure and pain.

From this astrological meditator’s view point utilising dynamic Libra’s airy element also means being aware of the subtle winds, chi (rLung in Tibetan) to consciously create a personal internal balance, which then helps all kinds of co-creating inter-personal decision making.

It’s also worth noting how this lunation marks an exciting month ahead, with the beginning of the year’s second eclipse season, and a full Moon lunar eclipse in Aries Oct 18th /19th, highlighting geocosmic/worldly/personal shifts and transformation. Adding to the intense heavenly mix, the celestial messenger, Mercury, begins a retrograde in Scorpio on the 9th. Plus comet ISON, which has a strong association to Mars, will soon be coming into view!

So now is the time, during this new Libran Moon, to familiarise breathing into the pivotal centre of balance, and develop the mindfulness and equanimity which supports and strengthens personal spiritual practice, as well as the ability to gracefully handle our forever changing world. _/♥\_

New Libra Moon ~> Oct 2012

Change is now very much in the air. The leaves are turning colour and falling – slowly (in northern hemisphere), and tomorrow’s new Libra Moon (at 13:02 British Summer time, 8:02EST) highlights the need for LOVE and a peaceful heart-mind in the midst of continued transformation, as well as a realistic view and practical plan in order to concretise dreams.

Luckily, dynamic Mars, currently in soul-se

eking Sagittarius, prompts our Spiritual Warrior into action. The scarlet planet makes spectacular celestial aspects in this fresh quest for truth, respect, and freedom; now separating from a confrontation with nebulous Neptune, clouds of confusion could even be lifting – though the intensity of concerns persists. Yet with personal responsibility accepted, authority riven veils may also lift to reveal a crack of light in the darkness. The way is thus clearing for potential growth (difficult, slow and rewarding) and/or quick-change (much easier, especially when seen as part of a long-term process).

At the same time as tomorrow’s new moon (at 22 degrees Libra) – which holds a mixed celestial message of loving kindness and harmony through special insight and responsible engagement – fiery Mars forms an intense but helpful trine (120 degrees) aspect to awakening Uranus; this, (due to Mars being the ruler of Aries, the sign in which Uranus currently resides) is a particularly strong connection that instills bravery and rallies competition, be that with self or others. Passions may therefore also be quick to rise throughout this dark and new Moon phase.

It’s a wise Spiritual Warrior who now implements self-initiated change within one’s own personality and lifestyle, anticipating compromise in relations to others before getting too hot under the Martian collar. Best bear in mind how anger wipes out any hard-earned points in the karmic merit bank, and know there is strength to be gained as mindful self-improvement makes for an altruistic heart.

The collective higher mind is currently evolving by transmuting selfishness into selflessness; tap into this mind set and it will be surprisingly easier to experience connectivity, co-operation, and spiritual liberation. Alice A. Bailey refers to the energy surrounding a Libra moon such as this as the opportunity to "escape from opposing forces at the midway point between the source and the goal", which is the point of balance and beauty.
