☽ Heart Fire & the Spirit of LOVEღ ~> Full Aquarius Moon Aug '19

Full Moon 22°24’ Aquarius 15th August 12:29UT

Passion and playfulness easily reach fever pitch when planets traverse the zodiacal sign of the theatrical and artistic Lion – just as the personal planets are presently doing. With a hot and fiery Leo Sun, Venus, Mercury, influential asteroid Juno, AND Mars, now upping daily drama all-the-while exuding a fierce inspiration that can also inspire joyful action, a warm heart and affectionate relations; as Leo ignites the creative spark within to connect with one’s inner child (as well as with children) for fun-packed activities, so talents and gifts can be explored and expressed. Essentially, making light of life and being with loved ones and friends and gathering under decidedly quirky Aquarian Full Moon beams (and shooting stars if you’re lucky) could be an extremely satisfying and entertaining cosmic order.

Our dynamic, life-giving Sun rules the zodiac sign Leo. So that when the Sun is at home in the regal Lion, the Heart Spirit is strengthened with courage and a centring cosmic ‘Light of Intelligence’. Sol’s light radiates a magical power so powerful that it can boost confidence and fuel an awareness of one-self that is mindful of our individual consciousness and what makes us feel happy and alive.

We are all energised by the Sun. And as the Solar Leonine Spirit projects an intense spotlight upon personal affairs, especially those matters of the heart and self-expression; the Aquarian Full Moon illuminates the need for freedom in love and romance, as well as the freedom to be individual by having one’s own ideas and emotions, particularly within groups of people, yet always aware of the unique gifts we bring to the greater whole.

Self love is also important. But not in an ego-maniac kind of way. More like loving and taking care of yourself is necessary before loving and taking care of others. Yet this mega Leo influence can be overbearing for some , as the Lion’s majestic manner can work pomp and ceremony to the max and escalate pride – even when undeserved: Leo can bestow solid self-belief and self-confidence. In either innocence or ignorance Leo can also hog the limelight and thoughtlessly overshadow everyone with his or her own artistic license, which is usually perfomed with style and pizzazz.

Bear in mind that quite apart from relationship planets circulating the sign of the solar system’s beating heart, as Leo accents how love makes the world go around, issues of loyalty and trust, freedom and fairness, humanity and humanitarian, could still also arise. One of the greatest challenges is to now embrace Leo’s ardent fieriness, at the same time keep an emotionally cool Aquarian view.

Emotional detachment is preferable to see clearly who we love, who loves us, and which of our friends are part of the ‘go-to team’; as well as those out to rip, clip, and zip plans, people and ideas for their own advantage. Dynamic Mars leads the Leo planets with Regulus, the brilliant fixed star which indicates success is only guaranteed by keeping integrity intact. And in these highly competitive technologically interconnected days, we are witnessing quite a few whose scruples can be called into question.

While we may find a place in our heart that allows us to forgive those who transgress, to let go and move on, the Sun with Venus indicates how ethics and principles are far more valuable than showing off a latest conquest.

When the Sun is conjunct Venus (on a mighty powerful Venus star point!) matters of the heart can take on a positive spin, particularly over this Full Moon, as the spirit of love infiltrates the soul in a seemingly reckless and anarchic way.

"When the power of love overcomes love of power the world will know peace." ~ Sri Chinmoy ~

Seriously. This is a wake-up-and-smell-the-coffee Full Moon and recognise how strong the power of love is when shared with humanity. This is also when love can be found in an instant – and when you least expect it. In a startling moment of looking into someone’s eyes, for instance, anyone’s eyes, friend or foe, lover or stranger, animal, insect or person, you could suddenly be jolted out of the permeable ego bubble to recognise the light of his or her consciousness, too. With such an encounter much can be revealed in the blink of the eye, showing especially what we truly value within, as well as what we think of others. These are the very moments the heartmind has a choice: to be generous and let the love-light of consciousness connect, or to close-down and turn away. Try and stay open to remain in your natural flow.

Either way, fear or greed can make living beings do crazy things. So be aware that while you may be busily spouting romantic poetry singing the praises of universal love, sweet love, there are others less so inclined, and are stuck thinking they need to prove themselves in any means necessary. Indeed, they may be bound by animal instinct.

Should you find yourself staring into the orbs of a (metaphoric) large Leo lion, however, who is charging towards you at forty miles an hour, it’s perfectly acceptable to not to feel the need for magical connections; and you would probably do well to hold your ground to pacify, whilst puffing-up to roar louder and look bigger than said threat. Even so, the love may still be there.

With the all-controlling Saturn, South Node and Pluto in Capricorn still holding on to a retrograde course and backwards thinking, it may well be in the few days before the Full Moon, when the Moon occults the currently extremely charismatic Saturn and stubborn South Node for the sixth time in a series of nine, that we begin to realistically note the obvious mountain of obstacles facing us individually and collectively; and how solutions resolutions are being blocked by that or those which feel entitled to do so. But at least we are now halfway through this gruelling series which seems to wreak of deja-vu, so that many are understanding the difficulties that lie ahead in the coming years, all of which the futuristic and globally aware Aquarian Full Moon now reflects.

Sensitive Luna also makes a fabulous Quintile (72°) to Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius; this is a magical aspect suggesting a daring kind of edginess that requires ingenuity when working together, for many hands to make light work, and for the global family to connect heart-to-heart when firing up the crystalline ‘light-grid’ in unusual and magical ways. Aquarius in connection to Uranus is also the sign of the ‘outsider’, the one who seems strange but exudes genius and eccentricity: the inventor.

In Esoteric Astrology, Aquarius is the hierarchical ruler of the Moon, meaning we are all ‘one’ living under the rays of the life-affirming Sun. Our aim is to live with selfless Aquarian awareness and grow the love that we naturally feel – a love that brings senses alive to be free, generous and kind. Basically, life is not about constant competition, but about working together to better the lives of all.

To help us do just that a Fire Trine that has been coming and going with various planets linking up to each throughout the run up this exciting and loving Full Moon. Also, The Sun at home in Leo, and three other planets currently ‘in domicile’, in signs in which they excel: Saturn in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces, are both still retrograde, taking time to digest how to work with pollution and suffering, while optimistic Jupiter goes forward in Sagittarius just as the Full Moon beings her three day culumination 14th August (15th exact, 16th disseminating). Jupiter’s move suggests morality can now again be seen to play a greater part in the ways that we govern our lives and minds, to help us grow and expand into our naturally light and wise state. (FYI: Saturn goes forward just after the Full Pisces Moon 18th September).

And while this Full Moon is what’s called a ‘see-saw’ chart, with two sides competing for dominance, it is the Sun and the personal planets which hold sway. As soon as lunar culminates she begins to wane towards the ‘Black New Virgo Moon’ (a Black Moon is the second New Moon of a calendar month) when ‘The Goddess of Perfection’ reveals ways towards some kind of stability within an solid Earth Trine.

Ultimately, this Full moon is one for tuning in and listening to the beating heart which keeps us on the move and in our flow, as plans change, people come and go, and hope for the future zaps in from leftfield and unexpected sources.

Remember to live for love and be the love wherever you can and enjoy the magic of sparkling Aquarian moonbeams.
Until next month, wishing you all happiness and BIG LOVE x

The Astrological History & Mystery of the Divine Feminine ~ Mary Magdalene

Next weekend, July 21st @8:30 am BST (sorry if too early/late), in honour of her Saintly feast day (22nd), I’ll be giving a Sunday presentation on the astrological history and mystery of Mary Magdalene.🌹🙏💖⭐️

The Astrological History & Mystery of the Divine Feminine – Part 1 Mary Magdalene

The Astrological History & Mystery of the Divine Feminine –Part 1 Mary Magdalene

July 21st 9:30am CEST (summer time)
July 21st 4:30pm AEST (standard time)
The Astrological History & Mystery of the Divine FemininePart 1 – Mary Magdalene
Laura Boomer Trent presents an astrological overview of the enigmatic Mary Magdalene as a daughter, beloved sister, wife, devotee, Myrrh-bearing priestess, (tantric) healer, and whore: a role she held according to Western Christianity for 1500 years. Latterly she became a Saint, as well as serving as inspiration for generations of romantics, artists, women, and Knights of the Templar. Interestingly, Orthodox, Coptic and Lutheran Churches have always venerated ‘The Magdalene’.
With the revelation of the Dead Seas Scrolls, when lost gospels came to light in the mid-20th C, Mary’s reputation as First Apostle was quietly restored. Still Mary Magdalene’s spiritual message continues to fascinate and grow. Hidden symbols reveal her mysteries as the Black Madonna, Sacred Goddess, and a Spiritual Teacher.
Also in this presentation we explore the emblematic sacred geometry associated with her name; as well as The Magdalene’s astrological signatures in the horoscopes of those who have also played her, in film and on stage, to discover just what astrologically attracts us to this mysterious, towering lighthouse of womanhood.

Some of you may wonder why someone so obviously into Buddhism is now talking about The Magdalene, a visionary Christian with a dramatic past. To be honest with you, I appear to be coming full circle, bridging Eastern and Western Goddess spirituality. Even as a child I have always been devoted to ‘The Goddess’, whoever she is and whatever form she takes. To my heartmind the Goddess, wherever she is found in her many guises as Tara, Astarte, Diane, Athena, Hekete, Kali, Isis, Innana, Laxmi, or Prajnaparamita for instance, or indeed, ‘The Magdalene’, she reveals the breadth and depth of our inherent human wisdom – and how intuitive knowledge is an integral path for spiritual realisation: to experience the divine spark of consciousness, the Goddess must be present. Also, ‘The Magdalene’ reputedly came ashore not far from where I write in France; so my fascination with the First Apostle is unexpectedly experiential.

…But I am getting ahead of the presentation: do book now, for next Sunday: It would be lovely to have you along...

☆ Free your Soul & Transform through the POWER of LOVE!

Full Moon in Taurus 24th October 2018 @ 1°13’ 16:45
Free your Soul &
Transform through the POWER of LOVE!
Set the altruistic intention firmly into place and generate the cosmic love vibration to the max, for a wildly exciting and dynamic Full Moon – one that breaks all the usual rules and sets your heart racing, as a vision of the future, bright, shiny and new, becomes clear – even as some influences dramatically hail from out-of-the-blue (people or ideas). Because this is one of the year’s most dramatic and intense, forward-thinking Full Moons in which Sun and Moon are part of a determined ‘Grand Fixed Cross’, a formation that tests commitment and resolve, ideas, as well as relationships. And because the Sun is with Love Goddess Venus, when looking to create positive change that benefits everyone – not just those we intimately love and care for, be ready for a strong blast of all-consuming Love Light. The source of such warmth and brilliance could be anyone’s guess – such is the unpredictability of events and emotions surrounding this Full Moon, which could also mark make or break moments.

Grand Crosses are mighty powerful at the best of times, let alone one that involves Venus Retrograde (Rx) with the secretive Scorpio, conjunct Spirit Sun, which are thus both opposite an exalted Taurus Full Moon, next to an open-minded astral wild-child, Uranus. Hopefully Luna’s elevated Taurean influence, as the Moon in the sign of the Bull is the best possible place to be, is to slow-down, smooth and temper the zappy and jagged Uranian pace. These four planets then form a tight Square to form the Cross with fellow Fixed signs, Leo and Aquarius, along the karmic nodal axis, pulling memories from the collective past, and thrusting them into the creative personal play pen.

Esoteric Astrology calls all this fixity ‘The Cross of Right Direction’, as it is a powerful ‘Cross of Transformation’, leading from selfishness to selflessness. It’s not an easy Cross to bear in many ways. As the Fixed Cross implies having to go through a massive process of renewal by releasing desires, fears (of the wild mind) and every shred of all old and outworn obsessions, which is quite a tall order, but in no means impossible, as long as one remains open-minded and aware of the importance of emancipating oneself from mental slavery.

In order to achieve the required selflessness, however, one paradoxically also needs to learn to love and value oneself. Because if you can’t love yourself, then who can you love? Which leads me to the current Venus retrograde question: can you even love those dark demons which are currently trying to hide and set up home in shadowy psychic spaces? Acknowledging how we humans have difficult emotions that often desperately need subjugating, the Scorpio Sun and Venus propose indulging a deep love of psychology and analysis. But the Moon with Uranus also highlights flashes of insight and quicker ways to deal with immediately recognised issues, purely by consciously applying the appropriate emotional antidotes that swiftly impact upon and pacify jealousy, rage, obsession or depression: all of which can actually be quite emotionally liberating. Taking either the slow path of depth psychology or the speedy application of mind-training, both methods are good. One is a means of understanding ‘why’ and the other a technique of ‘how’ to be in control. Really, what we all need are tools to there are very few who can say that they have conquered themselves and have truly renounced desire or aversion.

So, what to do if envy and fixation dog dreams or the waking mind? Firstly, among the most important ways of staying on centre is to not compare oneself to anyone – in any circumstance. When looking around at where you are now, remember that lovely saying ‘Be Yourself. Everyone else is taken’. Secondly, to overcome jealousy or obsession, as hard as it may be, make an effort to be happy if faced with situations that make you wonder why someone else should have all the luck, and not you. Seriously, learn to trust your feelings and muster up all your inside goodness and be joyful for others whose karma has ripened. Recognise how karma works in mysterious ways. And know that the more you are joyful for others (even if its an ex having a good time), the more you are happy within your own mind. Remember there are always remedies to help. When feeling angry, for instance exercise patience; if desirous exercise gratitude (for all you already have) and practice non-attachment. And for addictions (of any kind) now is a good time to reach out to connect with others who can help support the process of releasing toxins pain or suffering within a pleasant and caring environment. Those who can engender a team spirit that alleviates the feeling of isolation are probably closer than you think.

While a change is often as good as a rest, Spirit Sun with the retrograde Venus tends to cover old ground in order to seek fairness, for the physical body, as well as in relationship. Giving value to all everyone does is paramount when the Sun is with Venus. This often means dealing with old issues, specifically those which came up nine months ago, or even 8 years ago. Old relationships could suddenly reappear, or issues that repeat themselves in your life, as well as the pertinent information that clarifies agreements. Check planets around the early degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius and see where this Cross of Transformation lies and where you are cosmically bound to make dramatic change to free the heartmind and liberate your soul. Just to clarify: this Full Moon is a time to be open and clear, not tear yourself into shred or criticise yourself or others. In other words, to gain more clarity, do more of what makes you happy and less of what stresses you out, because that only clouds your emotions.

Bear in mind how Venus is also the planet of Air and Wind. Indeed, Venus even finishes her retrograde in the Air Sign Libra, at the next Full Moon (23rd November, the day before Mercury goes retrograde in Sagittarius!). Consciously breathing through difficult situations is incredibly energizing, with long, slow breaths that calm and pacify the internal mind. Remember how breath is mind’s vehicle to Spirit. Be aware how we are all incredibly sensitive beings, some more than others, but each with his or her own electromagnetic subtle energies coursing through the psychic and emotional body. Breathing into tension and spaces through visualisation and exercise helps to release emotional blocks and memories which get stuck in the physical body too. The ensuing lightness of heart also makes it easier to feel enthusiastic about the future, however tough it looks like when reading a newspaper. Know that no man is an island, we are all connected on Spaceship Earth, together we can heal, harmonise, and be holistically happy.

☼¸¸.•*¨*•☆ Full Moon Festival of Light! ☆•*¨*•.¸¸☼ 12 March '17

…… Full Moon 22Virgo @14:53GMT (9:53EST) ……
☸ KARMA MULTIPLIED day (+ or - ) x 100 million ☸

This first Full Moon of the Tibetan year of the Red Female Fire Bird celebrates a ‘Day of Miracles’, called ‘Chötrul Düchen’. Today we light candles and make light offerings to commemorate Buddha’s miraculous displays, which came about through his purification of thought, word and deed, meditation and ethical mind-training, plus an accumulation of lifetimes of karmic merit.
☸ A magical Pisces stellium includes Spirit Sun with oceanic Neptune, accenting boundless hidden spiritual strength, collective undercurrents, and the karmic imprints of an entire soul group. Next to the prayerful Pisces Sun are asteroids Pallas Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, strategy and war; together with Chiron, the solar systems’ psychic kundalini Shaman, they imply feminine wisdom is now key to healing accidental emotional wounds.
Close to Sun is the celestial messenger, Mercury, also in psychedelic Pisces. Poetic and romantically fuelled by spiritual oneness, Mercury in watery Pisces is suited to the meditation cushion, in order to find the mind's true inner nature is a radiant and bright, with a heart brimming with unconditional Love.
Spiritual care and rational creativity now have the potential to be enhanced by this Full Moon in Virgo, where the Virgin Goddess offers as a duty a practical compassion, lifting the normal and everyday into the realms of sublime and supernatural.
☸ By tuning into our softer feminine side we can also create personal miracles that can heal physically, mentally and spiritually. However small an act of kindness may be, it can affect the wellbeing of others, even worlds unseen or unseen… 🙏 🙏 🙏

◯☼ - Full Aries Super Moon conjunct Eris & Uranus ☼◯

◯ ‘Happiness is the heart being free’ ☼
– Sakyong Rinpoche –
Sun in Libra opposite Full Supermoon in Aries

☼ ♎☍◯♈ @4:23UT 16th Oct
In the words of Heraclitus, the Greek philosopher who taught about an ever-changing universe, change is our only constant. As the winds of change now begin to blow into a potential hooley, in the midst of such daily whirls and flow all we really want is to be happy. What stands out in this constant quest for happiness is how important it is for the human spirit to have a sense of autonomy, which is then freely directed towards helping oneself to help others. Even science notes ways in which we can be happy, such as taking the initiative, not comparing, smiling (even if you don’t want to), giving thanks, honouring friends, meaningful goals, and exercise. Nowhere on the list does it suggest buying a new outfit, diamond watch, or red corvette brings the kind of lasting rewards that makes us beam from the inside out (not even if you’re a ‘lookist’ Libran, or crazy speed-ball Aries 😉 ). Okay, a flash new car, designer dress or gold club card momentarily satisfies desire nature, but such gratification is usually fleeting, nothing on the scale of rejecting materialism for the kind of deeply-resonating, long-lasting and satisfying joy that exploring personal gifts and living life to the fullest can bring to oneself as well as others. The sign of the zodiac which venerates the greatest regard, admiration and respect for others, culturally and intellectually, is Libra; the sign through which the Sun currently transits.

Libra lives for love. Thriving in social situations, be that in marriage and partnership, business or romance, Libra considers the well-being of other’s a high priority when seeking personal peace of mind. We have much to learn from Libra: check your personal horoscope to see just where the sign of the scales weighs-up relations). So while the Libran Sun radiates opposite a currently courageous Aries Moon conjunct freedom-loving, radical Uranus, it’s time to bravely polish-up smart and savvy Libran skills, such as diplomacy, discretion and dignity, because these are especially useful when faced with (inner) uproar and mayhem. Libra teaches us to find beauty in peace and inner-equipoise, even in the midst of chaos. While it’s generally an Aries influence that initiates aggression, Librans armed with wit and charm, can, however, even start arguments in order for them to practice their impressive power of mediation. (Sorry, but you know it’s true, Libra. Think justice scales and precedence at law.)

In astrology, we call the axis that aligns Aries to Libra the ‘me-we’ alliance, emphasising how important it is that we find the balance between being dynamic and self-assertive and co-operative and considerate, particularly when getting everyone’s needs met. This Libra-Aries axis is a reminder to practice being kinder to one’s ‘self’, in order to more easily enable kindness towards others. Being the best we can, means we have the best to give.
At 23 Aries-Libra, the axis is pivotal during this full Supermoon Saturday/Sunday, depending upon where you are in the world: 15th in Canada and USA, 16th in Europe, Asia &Australia. With Luna conjunct rebellious Uranus there could be quite a hullabaloo in which to practice patience and loving kindness. And because the Moon joins forces with the astral wildcard, Uranus (and the even wilder trans-Plutonian outer-planet of discord and chaos, Eris), the emphasis is firmly upon all kinds of outsiders, misfits and freaks, possibly coming from left field, too.

This Full Moon is also first in a series of three Full Supermoons. When the ‘Supermoon’ is closest to the Earth it actually looks bigger, and geo-cosmic activity is heightened (think cyclones and hurricanes, flooding, fires, drought and quakes). (Nod & thanks to Moon maestro Mr Richard Knolles for ‘Supermoon’ awareness X J ). Similarly, during the supermoon, we too, experience heightened personal and inter-personal shifts: in perception, as well as inner and outer challenges. (Note that in this series of three, the middle Scorpio-Taurus SuperMoon may well be the most intense: something to look forward to!). That said, the effects of this Moon phase will probably last three days, if not feel like five or six, such is Luna’s electromagnetic pulling interaction.

What marks this October’s Supermoon is the way recent change, whether wanted or not, can be so quickly felt and the audaciously implemented could even be labelled ‘dictatorial’. While Uranus, the Great awakener, heralds change that affects an entire generation, when in brave and passionate Aries, situations can be especially sparky and fiery whenever there is a people’s cause to champion. Aries Moon also has a delightfully playful but impulsive streak, one that dares venture into the unknown with a willingness to be open and genuine (if a little naive and innocent). All of which can be very exciting, as well as refreshing. Heroic Aries tends to bring in the novel and new with speed – and often a bang. But hold your fire Aries – for the moment anyway; there are still many factors to evaluate

It is worth bearing in mind that Uranus, equality-seeking ruler of Aquarius, and generational planet representing friendly peer-groups, team mates and kooky kindred spirits, also accents the sudden flashes of genius that zap-in with an electrical bolt from the blue. The glyph for Uranus ♅ even looks like a space station’s radar, ready to receive and earth the lightning-fast inspiration that seemingly comes from nowhere; i.e. space. Interestingly, in esoteric astrology, altruistic Uranus is the also the hierarchical ruler of Aries. For those who practice ‘regular’ astrology, the concept of another rulership may seem a little strange. But if there ever was a time to introduce a new astrological spiritual insight, it may well be when the receptive Moon is conjunct Uranus, planet of the bizarre, as well as astrology.

Conventional astrology looks to Mars as the exoteric ruler of Aries – and thereby we note now how cardinal Mars is currently exalted in Capricorn: prudent and practical in traditional martial techniques of control and power. Esoteric astrology also looks at a deeper meaning of what seemingly goes on in the head (Aries rules the physical head); and gives Mercury, as planet of the mind, as the esoteric ruler of Aries.

The wisdom teachings say that only we, ourselves, have the power to tame our own chattering monkey minds’. Mercury’s esoteric connection to Aries therefore signifies that allowing the mind to bravely go into new zones encourages neuroplasticity, with inner-mind reshaping thought and memory, past and future, Mercury here is enabled to wave his magic mercurial caduceus wand to even repair broken DNA and overcome impediments.

Transiting Mercury is currently with Libra, now making it easy to sit on the fence and watch what’s happening arounds us and, if we can, check all sides of stories. Serious decision making may still be full of doubt; but when the mind’s deeper esoteric connections start to spark, Mercury’s influence upon Aries is clearly to weigh-up what’s in front (within a time frame of 27th Oct, when Mercury is at Superior Solar conjunction), then look at new solutions, especially when dealing with old (Capricorn) problems.

Lastly in the three of Aries esoteric rulerships: when we turn the spiritual warrior’s head up towards the heavenly angelic realms, the hierarchical ruler of Aries is Uranus, the planet that ultimately seeks liberation for oneself as well as for humanity, and even Mother Earth herself. Planetoid Ceres, also known as Demeter, nurturing Goddess of Grain is also with the Aries/Uranus/Eris Supermoon.

When Luna reflects such strong yang Aries, the feminine is emboldened. Still, it may be the natural feminine instinct to care and provide that can also pacify and soften the otherwise Aries hot-head tendency. The most dangerous enemy to ardent Aries is its’ own over-heated impatience. Self-absorbed and unaware, impulsively acting quickly to see fast results could easily backfire. The essence of valour is not only to be adventurous but to be humanitarian as core process, involving the great good of all.

With Mars and Pluto in Capricorn presently making a loose T-Square to the ‘Me-We’ ‘Aries-Libra’ axis, it is time to consider one’s own accomplishments – in relationship and out, at work and rest, without comparing to others; be now more cautious, reflect, connect to beauty and principles , and be truly aware that real change only happens within the heart. So that when we make changes to ourselves, the world around us changes too.
