☼ Sun’s Aries ingress tomorrow 10:28gmt coincides with the
Astrological New Year and the Losar lunation’s Last Quarter Tara –
Medicine Moon. __/❀\__♡ ☼
☆ A fiery Aries Sun at the ‘world
point’, means that most everyone notes an energetic shift, and a change
of seasons has either arrived, or is imminent. With Aries in square to
the Moon in her detriment, in Capricorn, conjunct Capricorn's ruler,
karmic Saturn, lord of obstacles and limitation, we may also be asking
ourselves how we got into situation(s)
we now face. If that is the case, take heart, even it seems like
squaring-up to the impossible to overcome, it’s important to know there
are many ways of clearing (karmic) obstacles. Mantra and visualization
meditation work well, as does doing good deeds, making amends, and
changing one’s mind to not repeat the negative. Given the antidote, we
also need to be disciplined and practical and be forever conscious of
what needs to be applied (in body, speech, or mind) so we needn’t feel
stuck, just as the Fire Bird year begins to spark into action.
☆ Saturn is currently on the Sagittarian degree that points directly
towards the centre of our Galaxy and, due to retrogrades, will be for
the most of 2017: a time to shine a light upon all matters of truth and
consequence. Time also to stake out boundaries that enable one to
encompass more Love, more Wisdom, and more Light.
☆ Just as the
season spring is associated with the colour green and the wind element,
so too is the green Arya Tara. With both Spring and Goddess Tara
associated with the generally fast-moving wind element, suggesting firm
conviction and a willingness to bring about speedy change that spirals
and grows into curious spaces, with a gentle kind of practical, feminine
devotion. This last quarter moon is therefore ideal to quickly make
conscious adjustments wherever needed: in the work place, within the
heart-mind - and to be in tune with our surroundings, ready for a New
Aries Moon 28th March, when the innovative and unusual may even be given
‘taskmaster’ Saturn’s magical seal of approval.

Happy Equinox Everyone! __/❀\__♡ ☼
Currently fast-moving, bizarrely predictable yet unexpected changes are
charted with a plethora of newness, symbolised by the present Aries
conjunction that sees Uranus, Sun and Mercury, fire fervour and passion,
to impulsively leap into action.
Before bounding into
situations unknown, hold courage close to heart and listen carefully for
the wisdom of the Mother Goddess Liberator. At this last quarter Tara –
Medicine Buddha Moon, eclipse season
fades for another six months; and an Earthy Capricorn Goddess commands
pragmatic wisdom, especially during periods of dramatic transformation.
The sensitive Moon is also now conjunct secretive Pluto. In judicious
Capricorn, the Divine Feminine now accents intuition best guided with
discipline, to leave no stone unturned when dealing with all things
hidden. Even with difficult issues, calling upon the healing power of
the Goddess helps to overcome obstacles, both seen and unseen, which may
now even reveal a buried treasure - a previously hidden emotional or
spiritual strength, perhaps a skill or gift which helps 0ne to rise
above daily challenges (that appertain to ambition and accomplishment,
and how to get there all-the-while dealing with sudden changes).
The weekend is thus another opportune moment to remove and let-go of
all that no longer serves powerful healing and purpose. The early part
of next week is earmarked for organising, in order to plant new seeds
that blossom and bloom at the height of summer: Make adjustments now and
be ready for a fresh new kick-start with an exciting New Moon in Aries,
April 18th.
Image is of Goddess Green Tara
“Green Tara
is Tara's most dynamic manifestation. Her color symbolizes youthful
vigor and activity. The Buddhist Lord of karma (action), Amoghasiddhi,
is also associated with the green color, thus signifying that they
belong to the same family. This is a further affirmation of the
perception that Green Tara is a goddess of action. She is often depicted
in a posture of ease with right leg extended, signifying her readiness
to spring into action. The left leg is folded in the contemplative
position on the lotus pedestal, the two together thus symbolizing the
integration of wisdom and art. Her left hand, in the gesture of granting
refuge holds the stem of a blue lotus that floats over her left
shoulder as a symbol of purity and power. With her right hand she makes
the boon-granting gesture.” ( www.exoticindiaart.com )

The closing square between the dynamic Sun in Aries (conjunct Uranus)
and the conventional Capricorn Moon (conjunct powerful Pluto opposite
Jupiter) is an extremely assertive combination; one which demands
respect to the feelings brought about witnessing the traditional world
as it struggles to transform and release the old and outmoded. At the same time, the start of spring invites us to move forward, be modern, and grow creatively.
But no sooner does the Spring Equinox announce this seasonal starting
block, the energies of the last quarter of the Moon urge one to be
realistic and reflect upon what we also need to take care of ourselves,
to make sure we maintain strength and stamina to navigate the coming
weeks of the year’s most dramatic and climactic Cardinal Cross of the
Central Spiritual Sun (which has a similar intensity to the summer of
2010). Obstacles may need to be cleared, tidied and/or healed before
feeling really confident about revealing intentions to one and all. And
it’s true, certain issues could be tricky to resolve, but patience,
discipline and structured research sees positive results, with
resistance dissolving by the start of a new lunation which comes in with
a bang and the New Aries Moon, March 30th. Be aware the following
months promise to be extremely memorable (especially April!). So in
order to courageously and joyfully embrace the Ram’s love of fresh
innovation, best prepare for the wild ride with the Wood Horse Year.
The Divine Goddess Tara now presides over the next few days, marked as
optimum to be practical and organised, with seasonal pruning (in the
garden as well as psychologically) to let go of old wounds and pacify
past hurt with an enthusiastic heart-mind that remains open to both
ancient wisdom and modern wonder.
Time now to “Come back to
square one, just the minimum bare bones. Relaxing with the present
moment, relaxing with hopelessness, relaxing with death, not resisting
the fact that things end, that things pass, that things have no lasting
substance, that everything is changing all the time—that is the basic
message.” – Pema Chodron

Spirit Sun in harmonious Libra today highlights the dynamic
first-quarter Moon in disciplined Capricorn, to balance responsibilities
and generate positive, lasting change which benefits all.
This first quarter moon also creates a tight ‘T-square’ to expansive
Jupiter’. So when making important decisions and adjustments there’s
every reason to remain optimistic; even minor modifications made this
weekend (in relationship, at work,
and/or at home) can be deeply healing and bear fruit. Note, however,
such fruit may take time, organisation and practice to really ripen.
This is because Venus, Libra’s ruler and Capricorn’s hierarchical ruler,
goes retrograde at the Winter Solstice, when both the illuminating Sun
and loving Venus will be in Capricorn.
Issues close to the heart
that need a deep resolution could therefore take up until the Solar
year’s turning point, or even until the Candlemas New Moon, when Venus
once again goes forward. So now is the time to exercise patience with
self and others, especially when dealing with situations that challenge
one to stay centred (in radiant natural Buddha nature) _/♥\_

September 14th ~> Guru Rinpoche
Sun in Virgo - Moon in Capricorn
I was asked today why, according to astrology, these are such
challenging times. And this is a really long and involved answer with
lots of astro-tech, as there are two very difficult aspects going on at
the moment, which involve both Cardinal and Fixed signs (which is 2/3rd
of the zodiac), so few escape the planetary energies – apart from the cosmic enlightened ones, of course, who are beyond the influences of the heavens. _/\_
One such difficult aspect is the Cardinal Cross of the Central
Spiritual Sun, which will continue to come and go until 2015/6 with
varying intensity (as it has already been doing for the past three
years). This highly evolutionary square is rare in its longevity, and
involves dynamic, active Cardinal Signs: Assertive Aries with Uranus,
planet of awakening as the agent of the square; Sensitive Cancer, with
Jupiter, planet of expansion as the synthesising factor; Balancing Libra
with messenger Mercury, planet of communication – with the Equinox Sun
highlighting the Cardinal Cross at the end of the calendar month; last
but not least, responsible Capricorn with transformative Pluto.
At its highest vibration, this square represents a rising Divinity
(within). To be honest, this Grand Square with its two oppositions and
an enduring hard aspect between two generational planes, Uranus and
Pluto, it’s not easy to say the least, as interconnected life can go
‘haywire’ it involves a great deal of personal transformation and
spiritual awareness to remain true to self. And every time the Moon hits
one of these planets during this incredible Cardinal Cross of the
Central Spiritual Sun, we feel deeply the part we are playing in being
able to dissolve the veils obscuring our shining and true Buddha nature.
Yet the required spiritual critical mass for Divinity to
rise is, to my mind, almost here - if not already reached; as a
collective tide turns towards the Divine Feminine, the Goddess balancing
the rational of the mechanistic left-brain with the holistic creative
right-brain, as well as awakening an intuitive wisdom with loving
compassion. Still, the stress created by this realignment, of human with
Divine, can be tough with on-going suppression of freedoms. And having a
day when relationships falter, or self/others fail to produce, or
authority clamps down and/or peer group seems alienating and a seemingly
toxic collective upholds mass distraction with toys for celebrity boys
(and girls), it’s all the more reason to hold ground, centre up and rest
in the natural beauty of the glowing and radiant heart-mind ~> So
when the going gets tough, breathe, meditate, slow down, and rise above
the negative vibration that can hook the mind into slavish nonsense.
If the Grand Cross isn’t enough, the second aspect is a hard ‘T’ square
between relationship-orientated Venus, disciplined Saturn, and the
North Node in Scorpio (and by extention the South Node in Taurus) to
Mars in Leo, which means fiery Mars has, for the past week or so, be on
‘The Bends’, turning between the dark side of the Moon and
happenstance. Which could well feel just as crazy as it sounds! And
Mars is still in square to Saturn creating a sensation a bit like wading
through treacle, which has an upside, in as much as martial Mars is
halted through fear, doubt, or plain realistic assessment (phew!). Note
that Mars is akin to the energy of the South Node (logging the kind of
energy we bring from previous incarnation or situations), and karmic
Saturn is akin to destiny-fulfilling North-Node. So basically the
Martial Lion has been wrapped around the Dragons’ Head AND the Dragon’s
Tail, caught between coming and going. Now, he is going – straight into
the arms of passionate, powerful love.
And as Venus, the planet
of love now conjuncts Saturn, a commitment to the transformational
power of deep, meaningful love means abandoning power plays of control
and domination. So that when Love Goddess Venus squares passionate
Warrior Mars at the last quarter moon 27/28th September, it can spark
ardour, confidence, and the consciousness to renew and revitalise shared
enterprise by following the urge to accomplish brave deeds, with
unconditional LOVE conquering anger, hatred and aggression; for in the
planetary pantheon Mars only disarms with Venusian charms.
So
seeing that today, 14th September, is this lunation’s Guru Rinpoche day,
with Sun in healing Virgo, the sign of the perfect and abundant
Goddess, in good aspect to the sympathetic Moon in sensible Capricorn,
it is more than fitting to ask for blessings and protection (from the
Guru within) and discover the ability to overcome obstacles of these
difficult aspects, so that all our aspirations can be fulfilled. ॐ_/♥\_

According to the heavens, we are currently in the midst of fast-moving,
bizarrely predictable yet unexpected change, with a plethora of newness
symbolised by this present Aries conjunction that sees Uranus, Sun,
Venus & Mars, all ramping up fiery fervour and passion to
impulsively leap into action.
But wait. Before jumping into situations unknown, hold courage
close to heart. The last quarter Tara – Medicine Buddha Moon in
Capricorn also brings the personal healing touch and much-needed
transformation into sharp focus, as well as a call for pragmatic wisdom.
The sensitive Moon now conjuncts secretive Pluto in judicious
Capricorn: Intuition guides with discipline, to leave no stone unturned

upon the healing power of the Goddess now helps to overcome obstacles,
and may even reveal a buried treasure - a previously hidden emotional or

Now is the time
to remove and let-go of all that no longer serves healing and purpose.
Today and tomorrow are marked for pruning and cutting back dead wood and
tidying up, so that the metaphoric blossom can bloom (in the Summer)
and be ready for a fresh new kick start with the exciting New Moon in
Aries, April the 10th.

Sun in Pisces & Moon in Capricorn
With no less than six planets in watery Pisces, today’s earthy and
feminine Moon in sensible Capricorn provides a personal sanctuary;
through being responsible and disciplined we can create an island
bedrock, and find stability within while Samsara’s shores lap all
around.
For the stillness of a mind at rest nurtures and purifies the moving body (of water).
