☆ •°*♌ ☾ ♒ ◯ ♒ ☽ ♃ *°•.☆ Full Leo Moon Feb2015

"Self-confidence is knowing that we have the capacity to do something good and firmly decide not to give up." ~ His Holiness the Dalai Lama ~

Because tonight's Full Leo Moon (exact 23:07gmt Feb3rd) is conjunct expansive Jupiter, there is a tendency to inflate and multiply whatever is happening. Now, more than ever, we need to good to ourselves and others and be aware how it is the middle path that leads to peace, and to have the confidence to be kind and grow the positive with courage and compassion whenever and wherever possible. For whenever Jupiter touches a planet, the energies of that planet are magnified; with the currently retrograde Jupiter in union with this Full heartfelt Leo Moon all kinds of situations can take on mammoth proportions – for good or bad, happy or sad.

Together with the most sacred celestial guide - Jupiter is THE cosmic Guru, this sensitive Moon invokes memories, student/teacher relations, and family connections, be it global family or ‘familiar’ kindred spirits, the past also takes on greater significance, especially when thoughts are connected to the heart and to love. So be aware that emotions can now be heightened and reactions excessive - even the snow (or Sun in the southern hemisphere) might seem crisper, whiter, purer.

Issues of loyalty in love may also be raised, where doing what is right to keep one’s integrity in tact provides a firmer foundation in truth. Jupiter also teaches us to seek out the broader view, a perspective that enables one to understand and embody even the most abstract principles and ethics which can ultimately lead to Spirit’s liberation.

With Spirit Sun now in Aquarius, the sign of the higher mind’s freedom through altruism, it’s worth remembering how in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition that the mind lives in the heart. The more we focus upon love and kindness then the more intelligent we become, as a collective and as an individual.

△ Grand Air Trine △ Guru Rinpoche day _/\_ Jan'15

☽☆☾ This lunar cycle’s 'Guru Rinpoche' day, when we give thanks and honour our guides, teachers and, in the Tibetan Buddhist’s tradition, our Lama, has a seriously intellectual quality about it, with reason and love triumphant when embracing unity, bliss and emptiness. This is because a triangle formation between the Aquarian Sun, the growing Gemini Moon, and the Moon’s North Node in Libra, now emphasises the highest functions of the heart mind.

△ With a 'Grand Air Trine' the ability to find common bonds through ideas and friendship can create unity that helps to overcome the dualism separating us from the cosmic Oneness, which has our best interests at heart. Indeed, this kind of magical spacy cohesion helps to appreciate how the teacher works in mysterious ways. Please note that a teacher can be within, someone you met, or from books or videos, even.

△ And though we are all born with an inherent inner wisdom, none of us is perfect. In Buddhist philosophy we are all each others’ teachers, in one form or another. So it is during this glorious Gibbous Moon phase, before the upcoming glorious full Moon, where we celebrate the sacred connections that help us to breathe easy and remove karmic obscuration.

△ Paying respect to those who help gain personal insight, intuition, and wisdom overview, continues to be in the spotlight with Full Leo Moon, Tuesday the 4th, which will be conjunct Jupiter, the solar system’s munificent ‘Cosmic Guru’, which should be fun. ;)

☽☆☾ It is also worth noting how the nodal axis, with north &south nodes signifying where we are going and where we are coming from respectively, are currently activated by eccentric Uranus, conjunct the South Node. This powerful galvanization from the planet of change, Uranus, advocates the movement towards peace, beauty and harmony (NN in Libra) by raising awareness of where we have been, bringing new gifts to make serious changes (Uranus conjunct SN) that embrace the new and exciting.

In this astral Aquarian age of enlightenment, altruism is the key to the success of any transformation. _/

☽☆☾ Image is of Garuda – artist unknown, sent to us by one of the great living masters, Jadho Rinpoche _/
\_  Garuda is the Himalayan ‘King of the Birds’, who removes the poison to avoid any injury that comes about from desire, ignorance and aversion. In the Tibetan Kalachakra system of astrology, Garuda is associated with the inventive Fixed Air sign, Aquarius. the sign in which Sprit Sun currently resides.

❤ ☼ Radiate a Courageous Loving Heart ☼ ❤ ~> Jupiter in Leo

Majestic Jupiter in Leo ~> July 16th 2014 – August 11th 2015

Roll out the red carpet! Sound the fanfare! Ta-dah! For today magnificent Jupiter changes signs. Leaving Cancer, where for the past year the Cosmic Gurus’ influence has been upon stabilizing support, expansive Jupiter now moves into regal Leo to develop artfulness, determination and courage. Interestingly, there's also mutual reception between the Sun and Jupiter at this time of ingress: The Sun rules Leo, but is now in Cancer, the sign of Jupiter’s exaltation, and Jupiter is now in the sign ruled by the Sun, meaning the heavens are in accord when acclaiming the powerful star-like potency of the creative Spirit.

The Sun radiates LoveLight from the heart of our solar system; and Jupiter is the great beneficent. In the sign of the brave Lion, Jupiter in Leo enhances bravery and determination, as well as the ability to open the heart to creative expression, generous romance, and majestic, playful drama. Having Jupiter in this warm and fiery sign for a whole year can encourage us to cultivate personal happiness with a tenderness that comes from the heart, so that one can be unconditionally true oneself; the downside of which can be self-seeking ego indulgence.

The Lion in Tibetan symbolism represents ‘perkiness’, which has vibrancy and the capacity to generate youthful enthusiasm, by maintaining discipline and confidence. The Buddha is often referred to as being a ‘lion among men’ meaning his might, speed and courage are outstanding. Indeed, Buddha’s teachings include ‘the lion’s roar’, expounding heroic fearlessness in any situation by remaining in the non-egotistical self-existing centre that enables resolution and transformation when being clear and precise, kind and loving.

☼ Saka Dawa Guru Rinpoche Day ~> breathing the Love-Light

June 8th
☼ ♊ ~ △ ~ ☾ ♎
Staying on center, taking care of self (and family), and finding the balance within makes it easier to deal with tricky encounters. With Sun in quicksilver Gemini stimulating the mind, and the reflective Moon in harmonious Libra, ‘The Lights’ now illuminate the intellectual Air element, suggesting it’s time to skilfully influence and balance our thoughts. One of the fastest ways to harness the constantly moving mind is through breathing, as the ancient teachings tell us 'breath is mind's vehicle to Spirit'. Consciously working with the breath soothes the heart-mind to restrain negative emotions, as well as maintaining internal harmony by clearing emotional or psychic knots within the subtle body.

With the Moon next to Mars fiery emotions can quickly rise – and exhaust. While it’s true passion can energize, anger depletes positive karma in one fell swoop. Struggling with aggression or other negative emotions which eat into the bank of karmic merit is unnecessary when you can positively motivate and energize by taking two minutes out of the day to concentrate upon breathing: Doing so quickly calms and controls the chattering monkey mind, increases vitality and focus, and generates an inner peace that relaxes both mind AND body. And it’s so easy to instantly tune into the natural conscious intelligence that surrounds us and imbibe ‘prana’, the universal holy life force of ‘Air’ ~> Go now, find a comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed for a few minutes: Breathe in for the count of 5, hold for 5 and exhale for 5…

…and note how much more in your flow you can become.

In the approach to the Karma-Multiplied Full Sagittarius, wisdom-seeking Moon, today (Sunday) is also the day in my spiritual tradition that we honor the holy Lama (within), who is laden with good qualities.

With courageous Mars next to the Moon also suggests we can bravely acknowledge how to manage our lives to live in peace and harmony, specifically by walking the Dharma path, putting the Buddha’s teachings into practice. __/\__

☉ Light of Life ~> New Moon in Aries March 30th _/♥\_

After a while of being around Tibetans, you will hear the phrase ‘being in the mandala’. What ‘being in the mandala’ means is that you are fully present in the magical centre of a cosmically infused multidimensional time tool, that is symbolic of our interconnection to body, speech and mind, in relation to Cardinal directions, six elements, planets, energies of the Sun & Moon, Buddha families, deities, and the heart-mind of the Guru (within). To be in the mandala is at once a wondrous state of awareness in an often complex process of becoming at one with the central heart-mind. I mention this now because this exciting New Aries Moon at 19:43BST, the Sun is not only exalted, but this lunation also sees important planets perfect the ‘Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun’, forming a tight Grand Cardinal Cross from the beginning April, making us all feel like we are entering the mandala. Through one gate or another (depending upon personal planets in horoscope), be it east, west, north or south, though a personal calling or family/relationship/authority issues, we are all being called into the mandala created by the Grand Cardinal Cross, becoming totally aware of our own personal part in the greater whole, in peace, and with beauty and harmony at a point of collective transformation.

☉ ♈ ☽ ♅ It’s also worth bearing in mind that because the New Moon and Sun now conjoin Uranus, the planet which Alice A.Bailey attributes as being the agent of change in the Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun. There’s a palpable sense of a collective awakening to altruism in action. Uranus is also the surprise wild card, accenting uniqueness and individuality within peer-to-peer situations, as well as eureka moments that come like bolts from the blue. According to esoteric astrology, Uranus is the hierarchical ruler of Aries; meaning the Ram’s up-front bravado is best served for a cause, with a passion to help those who can’t help themselves. This is not to say that one mustn’t look after oneself, because the main focus of Aries is the Light of Life itself: the Sun, assigning personal identity and talents. Indeed, what the collective now requires are spiritual warriors who are brave, aware that each has distinct gifts, ready for transition in action.

Helping us to transform throughout this eclipse season (Full Lunar eclipse on the 15th April & Solar on the 29th) is the horse power and strength of the Green Wood Horse. Spring is the main time of the wood ‘air’ element, and a time of action, growing into new spaces and places. It’s a powerful moment in time & space ~> enjoy __/\__ ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶

✧ Miracles ~> days 9 & 10 (10th&11th March)

With the GROWING LIGHT of the Moon, Buddha extended his light body into the ends of Samsara (and that’s a mighty long way!) _/♥\_

Today, the 11th of March is also this month’s Guru Rinpoche Day, which means its only 5 days until the Full Moon, and THE day of Miracles on the 16th of March, when karma is multiplied 10xmillion (good or bad).

This Guru Rinpoche Day also has a Water trine, reminiscent of last summer/autumn 2013, enabling one to reflect upon how things have changed since then, and how much more aware you are right now. While the Water signs Pisces Sun aspecting the Cancer Moon and the exalted Cosmic Guru, Jupiter, working beautifully together with Saturn in Scorpio, they create the fluid and receptive ‘Grand Water Trine’, which encourages one to go inwards to explore the world of the imagination. This particular trinity is also spiritually expansive, showering blessings and generating hope and compassion which can bring about greater understanding of life’s magic and mysteries. Enjoy ~> in 5 days’ time, the Full Virgo Goddess Moon accents a greater wisdom at work.
