◯ New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo

KARMA Multiplied day x 10 million (positive or negative)

Today’s Virgo New Moon Solar ECLIPSE (@7:41bst) awakens a deep feminine wisdom, as spirit Sun dances with the sensitive soul of the Moon to remind us how to live in an abundance of love, compassion and bliss. By reaching out to others to serve as best we can, we can share the blessings _/\_

✿ New Virgo Moon ~> 25th August ~> @15:13bst

The remedial Virgo Sun’s ruler, quicksilver Mercury, makes an encouraging and helpful aspect to the currently forceful Mars/Saturn conjunction in powerful, secretive Scorpio. Setting a positive intention is paramount with the start of a lunation that begins with a mighty Mars/Saturn conjunction, as this potent vibration can hold for the whole month. I recently likened this aggregation of forceful scarlet Mars and taskmaster Saturn to that of wading through treacle: Sweet because the connection of Jupiter/Venus is still in playful Leo; but sticky too, due to the muddied and complex nature of active Mars and karmic Saturn controlling; with fiery Mars an earthy Saturn can harden and form into something solid, like a wall that can either protect, or one that needs scaling in order to discover what's behind or reach further insights.

Luckily, the shape-shifting Virgo Mercury’s plasticity allows the mind to see what is concretising from various angles. Mercury's variety of experience shows it’s how we view situations, which can make all the difference to both process and outcome. So we need to be careful how we now shape our thoughts at the time of this New Moon in the the beautiful sign of the Virgo Goddess, and particularly how we steer inner feelings to discern and stabilize emotions, to reap the individual and collective healing this lunation offers. For concentrated deep spiritual healing employ feminine wisdom with the compassion of a rational heart, and we can heal the dream, as well as dream the healing.

With ℒℴѵℯ_/✿\_ & many thanks to beautiful Great Mother Liberator, Green Tara, whose mantra 'Om Tara Tutara Ture Soha' can invoke the Goddess to help remove obstacles ॐ_/\_

✫ ☾☉ ~ ♍ NEW MOON ♍ ~ ☉☽✫ Sept 5 2013

A last sparkle of the six-pointed star glimmers for this new Virgo Moon at 12:35 bst, 5th September. After months of resting in a magical double tetrahedron and the essence of the Goddess, the Earth/Water Grand Sextile begins to disappear as la Luna grows towards a Full Moon on the 19th September that will take us through Equinox, a point of change, balance and harmony. But don’t be too sad to see the heaven’s glorious starry ode to Goddess fade, as this Sacred Star will be back, all be it fleetingly October 24th, for another very obvious heavenly reminder of the deeply sensitive feminine within. Meanwhile, the protective Divine Feminine materializes with this new Virgo lunation (made all the more powerful, as the Moon is Virgo’s esoteric ruler), making it possible to break negative responses by affirming the real-world need, as well as the ability, for practical, down-to-earth healing.

Restoration, recovery and revitalisation are major themes when the sensible New Virgo Moon aligns with Spirit Sun. As ‘The Lights’ oppose shamanic Chiron, the wounded healer, they heavens suggest many ways to heal a wound, be the wound physical or emotional, psychological or spiritual. Chiron is in the visionary water sign Pisces, when dreams can now be a great source of healing inspiration – as can music, dance, art and poetry. According to the late, great Gabrielle Roth, “In many shamanic societies, if you came to a shaman or medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions. When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop finding comfort in the sweet territory of silence? Where we have stopped dancing, singing, being enchanted by stories, or finding comfort in silence is where we have experience the loss of soul. Dancing, singing, storytelling, and silence are the four universal healing salves.”

Now is the time to apply those salves, but at the same time be reasonable with ourselves, making necessary adjustments to lifestyle and diet, applying helpful tonics daily work-outs, singing, dancing and, perhaps most importantly, keeping a positive outlook foremost in one’s mind, being happy just where we are.

Thanks to wonderful unknown Thanka painter for this beautiful image of ‘The White Umbrella Goddess’, Ushnisha Sitataputra, who protects against harm, natural and supernatural, with the active power of compassion.

Her short mantra is “OM SIT TA TA PA TREY HUM PHET” ॐ_/♥\_

Perfect Virgo New Moon ~ September 2012

According to Buddhist philosophy, we come into this world with innate goodness, called ‘Buddha Nature’. Though inherent purity can become corrupt through circumstance, causes and conditions - karma, choices and influences, beyond innumerable layers of dense conditioning, which there is in most everyone, a pristine consciousness can be reawakened, always with awareness and sometimes with effort.

The perfection we strive to attain is therefore already within – it is just a (small!) matter of realisation. This perfect wisdom can be astrologically represented by the constellation Virgo, the flawlessly accomplished and learned Goddess, who gives herself unconditionally to humanity, in a life of practical service.

Over this weekend, both Spirit Sun and sensitive Moon conjoin in smart, practical Virgo, to renew and energise the healing power of (and for) the Divine Feminine within everyone. We all have a feminine side, from where wisdom and intuition stem (the right side of the brain). Virgo is also mindful of body and soul. Now is the time to connect to our sensible self and the Healing Goddess, to clean up our act, our altars, and our intentions; for the New Moon Saturday/Sunday 15th/16th at 3:11 British Summer Time (7:11pmPDT) at 23 Virgo, urges one to be prepared and practice humility with calm patience and insight; during the coming lunation we also reach a point of balance at Equinox (September 22nd); and there are challenging aspects to navigate before the next new moon October 15th, which command fairness, freedom, and fortitude.

Virgoan heart of Perfected Wisdom ♥ ☼ ♥ New Virgo Moon

According to Buddhist philosophy, we are born with an innate goodness called ‘Buddha Nature’. This inherent purity can become corrupt through circumstance, causes and conditions - karma, choices and influences. Yet if we look beyond the innumerable layers of dense conditioning there is, in everyone, a pristine consciousness which can be reawakened with awareness and effort. And although many hard core spiritual practitioners might balk at the idea of aligning the zodiac to this stainless kind of consciousness, to my mind the perfection we often strive to attain is already within, as represented by the constellation Virgo, the flawlessly accomplished Goddess.

I mention this now as Wednesday’s new Moon @15Virgo joins together the practical Virgo Sun and Moon at a midway point, potentially stimulating that indwelling illumination into a spiritual reality. With Mercury, as celestial messenger, now at home in healing Virgo, the meditation is upon connecting our ordinary world of personality and everyday events to the soul’s lucid clarity.  Many of you might now ask: How do we bridge that gap?  And although the answer could go against the competitive nature of current society, it is simple: By following a dharma path of service and helping others we naturally feel good about ourselves, and thereby our inner nature begins to shine.

So mark Wednesday in your diary as a ’Good Deed Day’; although, there’s a catch to all this saintliness, as to expect thanks or shout about how fabulous you feel helping a little old lady to cross the road only panders to ego and cancels out the positive vibration the unconditional kindness sets into motion. Instead, keep a lid on unnecessary self-congratulation, retain the poise of heartfelt goodness, and encourage the transformational power of light-filling goodness to build from within.  It’s also worth noting that trickster Mercury remains retrograde for another week, until the 13th, when all kinds of timekeeping and messages can still go awry: on a relative level dates can be missed, along with frustrating transport and information problems; be especially vigilant when signing documents: Double check everything. Even when helping granny to cross the road, make sure you’re taking her in the right direction!

Another positive feature to put into place while the wholesome Virgo Sun and New Moon conjoin is a healthy routine - one that takes care of all aspects of body, mind and spirit. Our body is also our own personal earthly temple, and now is an optimum time to be mindful and treat it wisely, as a sacred vessel that houses the spiritual being in a human body.  A yoga and meditation practice coupled with regular nutritious meals in a clean and organised space allows one to focus with clearer intent, and possibly even gain some kind of clairvoyance to see how to be of further benefit towards others.

To generate the Virgoan heart of perfected wisdom and finish the new Virgo moon report, here’s a quote from dear Tsem Tulku Rinpoche: “Holiness is not a state of you having a halo. Holiness is you having to try harder” – Sayonara to Depression ♥ ~ ☼ ~ ♥

This is good to aim for as the lunation culimates at 0 degrees Aries, with a rare full moon at the Autumn Equinox, sparking off our issues surrounding the cardinal cross.
