☆•*¨*•.¸¸❤ ☾☼ ☸ Happiness @ Saka Dawa Düchen ! ☸ ☼☽❤¸¸.•*¨*•☆
_/♥\_ SAKADAWA culminates today, June 2nd, celebrating the life, enlightenment and paranirvana, of Buddha Shakyamuni with a Full Sagittarius Moon (exact 17:19BST).
KARMA MULTIPLIED day X 10 Million
_/♥\_ As Saka Dawa is the most important sacred day of the Buddhist Calendar, today is optimum to engage in virtuous activities and spiritual practice.
_/♥\_ To ignite this most holy Festival of Lights (and burn the dross of yesterday’s heavy Moon-Saturn connection), a fiery and dynamic ‘Grand Fire Trine’ illuminates this Wood Goat year of SakaDawa. Involving the reflective, truth-seeking Sagittarian Moon, in helpful aspect to the Cosmic Guru, Jupiter, who is in heart-centred Leo, and also connecting to freedom-loving Uranus, in active Aries, this ‘Fire Trine’ positively inspires. Now is the time to radiate golden LoveLight; breathe in happiness, beauty and joy, and generate merit through playful loving kindness and generosity. Wake up and liberate the heart-mind and Spirit from ignorance and suffering! His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama says happiness is the purpose of living. Yet he also says that “Happiness is not ready made. It comes from our own actions”. Today’s Fire Trine provides just the spark which can activate the internal dynamo to arouse enthusiasm and restore faith and happiness, as well as lost mojos.
Go do your best! Draw back the Sagittarius Archer's bow and direct the arrow of intention to go forth & make Karmic Merit! smile emoticon Be the change you wish to see! Stay blessed! And enjoy! ~~~> May all beings be happy!

Love is the Bridge ~ Lunar Eclipse October 8th 2014
KARMA multiplied day x 7 million.✫´¯`*•.¸¸☼ ♡
☾ ● ◯ The October Full Moon is sometimes called Hunter’s Moon, aka Blood Moon, Travel Moon, or Dying Moon, as the leaves (in the northern hemisphere) begin to wither and drop, which in itself can instil the dread of winter. But wherever you are take heart: This Aries Moon is also an exciting Lunar Eclipse, exact 11:51bst (6:51est), laden with love and light. In harmonious Libra, and conjunct Venus, Spirit Sun aligns love with intelligence, to encourage kindness to be at the heart of activating creative change.
The Moon is exactly conjunct Uranus, the enlightening planet associated with dramatic turnarounds, as well as altruism, with each expressing his or her own individual gifts within the larger social scale. Now Uranus wakes us up to that which emotionally fulfills, like a bolt from the blue urging one into action. And with both Sun and Moon in hard aspect to Pluto (to activate ongoing Uranus/Pluto square), it is imperative to make very real and personal changes in relationship to self, those we care for, and the way that we treat our environment. This set of eclipses (today is Lunar, @15Aries-Libra, with solar 23rd Oct 0Scorpio) also suggests we are the old/new people, stronger than before, astrologically and psychologically primed for self-awareness, particularly in relation to others. H.H. Dalai Lama says “Although it is difficult to pinpoint the physical base or location of awareness, it is perhaps the most precious thing concealed within our brains. And it is something that the individual alone can feel and experience. Each of us cherishes it highly, yet it is private.” His Holiness’s words also remind how it the very private and personal awareness which empowers Spirit and the heart-mind to maintain strength, harmony and balance.
Now is the time to Let the Love-Light shine dearest cyber Sangha ~> and be the change we wish to see! __/\__ ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸✶♡

☼ Saka Dawa Full Moon __/❤\__ Friday 13th June ~>
The effects of actions, good or bad, are multiplied during Saka Dawa, when Himalayan Buddhists celebrate the birth, enlightenment and paranirvana of Gautama Sakyamuni Buddha, with the truth-seeking Sagittarius Full Moon which, at 22 degrees in the sign of the Archer, exact Friday June 13th at 4:11UT.
“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” Buddha _/❤\_....
☼ ♊ ~> ☽ ♐ ~> Wisdom-seeking Sagittarius is the inspirational sign of honesty and integrity, as’ The Archer’ aims his arrow high in search of freedom and greater knowledge. There’s no time like the present for illumination. Now the adventurous Moon is opposite Spirit Sun in communicative Gemini, there’s a potential immediacy seeing life's journey as karmic lessons towards self-realization, which can come in an instant. Aligning Spirit with the intuitive soul as one's life's purpose activates special insight and the wisdom-eye's ability to perceive clarity from confusion is heightened.
Mercury retrograde also currently asks us to determine healthy emotion from habitual sentimentality, as well as fact from fiction, magic from awe, so that personal (and collective) karmic obscuration can be reprogrammed, resolved and removed. This Full Moon also pinpoints and determines old wounds which may be tricky to cure – either the right diagnosis is yet to be made or the holistic healing view is not fully understood, in which case be patient and give yourself time.
‘The Lights’ also focus upon devotion to our sacred interconnections, to family and friends, and the abundant healing power of the Earth and spiritual teachers, making this a great time to practice. So these next few days may well be filled with ‘Ah-Ha’ moments that come about from observing the heart-mind's ability to blossom in creativity and truth – especially seeing the light when we take refuge in the Buddha’s teachings of glorious ethical goodness.
Wishing One and all a very happy triple XXX Solar Flare illumination Saka Dawa Düchen, may the shining LoveLight benefit of all beings.

✶ Medicine Buddha ~ Tara Moon ~> June 5th/6th __/❤\__ Sacred Star
Be aware of the mind’s ability to influence progress, remaining positive is crucial to the speed of recovery. Try not to wallow in any mire, focus instead up that which brings joy. Quicksilver Gemini Sun is still conjunct healing asteroid Hygeia, who was wife/aid to Aesculapius, the father of our modern medicine, accenting the call for swift solutions (though to be fair, family/media issues may be slowed by Mercury retrograde, starting 7th June for three weeks); The Sun in hard aspect to thoughtful and considerate Virgo Moon suggests having the ability to change course and think quickly, even whilst on the move.
This profoundly healing Moon phase also configures the enchanting six-pointed Grand Sextile, a sacred star formation connecting a stabilizing Earth Trine with the deeply intuitive current Water Trine. Though this beautiful star formation is fleeting, indeed, it will be waning tomorrow, the celestial energy for 5th and 6th June is still very much geared towards overcoming obstacles by being both, realistic AND magical. En route to the karma multiplied Saka Dawa Full Moon on the 13th, now is the time for helpful visualization and practical application to any problem. So keep in the mind's eye an end image, and be prepared to move fast to apply speedy solutions to any issue, no matter how big or small the difficulty might seem.
“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.” Buddha

⊚ Solar Eclipse 9° Taurus ~> April 29th _/✿\_
x 100,000,000 ~> _/♥\_ૐ
The cosmic ring of fire that surrounds the New Taurus Moon SOLar eclipse early Tuesday morning at 7:13am BST (2:13pmEST) is only visible in the remote regions of southern Antarctica. Though a partial eclipse will be seen in Australia, as this feminine and fecund, earthy Taurus Sun Moon Mercury & Earth align with the powerful and karmic Dragon’s tail, otherwise known as ‘Ketu’ or the ‘south node’.
Astrology associates the Dragon’s tail to past-life energy and the often difficult influences/issues/states of mind – kleshas - we bring with us from previous incarnations. Buddhism notes three main kleshas as being attachment (desire), aversion (anger), and ignorance, from whence all our problems in this life, and past and future lives emit. Thus Ketu, currently conjunct and ruled by fiery Mars, retrograde and in fall in Libra, is Karma Control: In union with the sensuous Taurus Sun and Moon, Karma Control emphasizes the need to observe the aggressive desire nature and to be mindful of impulses.
This is a solar eclipse to set a positive intention towards stabilizing the mind to rest in the inner-peace Buddha would do in Earth-Touching mudra meditation. Dynamically balancing delicate beauty within a peaceful heart-mind also takes active training and discipline. Be kind to yourself, remember the Taurean Buddha sat under a tree for years before his enlightenment. Taurus is practical and patient; and when not being indulgent or lazy is currently capable of transforming the most reticent mind into appreciating the richness of Spirit at One with nature, showing loving kindness in every thought, gesture or word - with a love that even stabilizes spiritual devotion and understanding.
Wishing you all good practice, my friends _/\_

✫ Great Prayer Festival & DAY OF MIRACLES Full Moon Virgo March 16th '14
Full Moon 26 Virgo@17:08gmt (12:08EST)
The Great Prayer Festival & DAY OF MIRACLES
This is a karma multiplied day (positive or negative) x 10 million.
Known as ‘Chötrul Düchen’, this Sunday we make light offerings during the 1st FULL MOON of the Tibetan year of the GREEN WOOD HORSE, to commemorate the final day of the miraculous display by the Buddha, which has lasted 15 days since the Pisces new moon.
The Tibetan Horse is a magical animal who carries on his back the most precious THREE JEWELS, in which Buddhists find a spiritual sanctuary: Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. Interestingly, this Full Virgo Moon highlights the healing qualities of practical spiritual support, resonating with the analogy that Buddha is the doctor, Dharma teachings are the medicine, and the spiritual friend (Sangha) is the nurse. Taking refuge in these three jewels ensures that we, the patient suffering in the nature of this dualistic material world, are taking care of our future lives, as well as this one.
“The support we (the cyber sangha) give each other as practitioners is not the usual samsaric support in which we all join the same team and complain about someone else. It's more that you're on your own, completely alone, but it's helpful to know that there are forty other people who are also going through this all by themselves. That's very supportive and encouraging. Fundamentally, even though other people can give you support, you do it yourself, and that's how you grow up in this process, rather than becoming more dependent."
From the book 'Start Where You Are' by Pema Chödrön (bracket insertion my own, as I know many who read this are not Buddhist, per se, but are still very much cherished spiritual friends).
So Happy Chötrul Düchen everyone, may we support each other, always! & may miracles be filled with profound healing, with Love & Light at this special time_/♥\_ from Laura

☄ Thanksgiving Dakini Day ~> November 28th ’13 ☼ ✶☽
Accenting wisdom and beauty, this convivial combination of ‘The Lights’ inspires the fiery Sagittarian spirit of adventure with love, warmth, and more than a sprinkling of sophisticated Libran grace and balance. Interestingly, the Sagittarian Sun’s ruler, Jupiter, and the Libra Moon’s ruler, Venus, connect today in opposition, giving rise to expanded ideals (and possibly waistbands too!). This is a great time for putting much into perspective – especially relationships in partnership, business, teacher-student, or friend to friend; when the potential to find peace of mind through socialising, is by being fully present with those who nurture and support fairness, truth, and openness. All of which is heartening, especially when preparing to complete a powerful (and some might say ‘stressed’) lunation that began with a Scorpio solar eclipse, and ends with the Sagittarius New Moon on 2nd/3rd December. That said, this rather elegant Dakini Moon, in harmonious Libra, is opposite Uranus and square Pluto, encouraging the emotional body to sense the currently transformational zeitgeist; and, quite apart from the need to protect and steer clear of negative power games, there may well be some surprises in store; even these may take on greater momentum with the upcoming lunation in the sign of the Archer. But be aware that during the dark Scorpio Moon (30th/1st) care, caution, and consideration is called for, principally in being kind to self, as well as to others who have less altruistic intentions. _(♥)_

❂ Full Moon in Aries Lunar Eclipse _/♥\_ OCT13
Eclipses generally come in pairs: one solar, the other lunar. With a Lunar eclipse coming up on Friday/Saturday (18th-19th), the following eclipse in two weeks’ time is an even more powerful and rare hybrid Solar Scorpio eclipse, on November 3rd. Both the Lunar and Solar eclipse provide a magical portal, karmic gates for incoming and outgoing universal consciousness – bringing energies that create external and internal shifts, which are often dramatic (18-year) turning points. This particular eclipse could even cultivate a pristine awareness of our self in relation to benefiting others, especially if the degree of the eclipse constellates our own horoscope.
This weekend's Full Moon Lunar eclipse at 26 Aries is a penumbral lunar eclipse, with a slightly paler Moon that may be difficult to perceive the difference between a normally glowing 'Hunter's Moon', yet almost impossible not to feel, as La Luna governs emotions. And as a beauty-orientated Libra Sun aligns with the courageous Aries Moon, the heavens symbolize a dynamic motivation between self, abandoning clinging to the ego, in favour of social harmony; as the fiery Ram ignites the ‘light of life’ the Scales seek a heart balance between intrigue and the straightforward, the material and spiritual, Love and Light, so that a full expression of wisdom and compassion can freely develop.
Events and situations this weekend remind us that Love-Wisdom is, in fact, our innate glowing radiant Buddha nature. If mindful to harness soul-control, this eclipse is an optimum time to embrace the karmic law of cause and effect and transform base passion and desire into pure vibrant love.
Regular Zodiac Heaven's Dharma Stars readers may be aware that during the eclipses sensitivity to subtle body energies is also heightened, as chakras, winds and channels are responsive to this delicate time when the luminosity of Sun, Moon and Earth cosmically coordinate to create a powerful and sacred moment of peace, introspection and insight, making this an optimum time to meditate.
The exact time of this eclipse is 7:50pm on the 18th EDT and 00:50BST, and will be more noticeable over Central Africa.

☸ _(♥)_ Chökhor Düchen ~> July 12 2013 _(♥)_
First turning of the Wheel of Dharma
Karma Multiplied day x 10 million (positive or negative)
Chökhor Düchen is one of the four most important Buddhist festivals of the year. On the 4th day of the 6th Tibetan Lunar Month, just as a growing sensitive Moon begins to make a helpful sextile aspect to the radiant Sun, our source of light and life, Chökhor Düchen celebrates ‘The First Turning of the Wheel’ by Lord Buddha. Setting the wheel of Dharma teachings into motion - after not having taught for seven weeks since his enlightenment - Buddha began with a teaching on ‘The Four Noble Truths’☸.
Gothama Buddha appears to have chosen to illuminate the mind upon a waxing moon. With the growing light of the moon we can experience an increase of clarity, intuition, and emotional insight. And from July 12th's astrological point of view, this very moon is involved in a rare six-pointed star, with two interlocking triangles shaping the starry firmament. A sensitive Moon in purifying Virgo creates a 'Grand Earth trine' with transformational Pluto in responsible Capricorn; and the south node, a.k.a. the Dragon's tail, tells from where we are coming: i.e. in Taurus, and conjunct healing asteroid Hygeia, it suggests Earth healing, though the power of nature. Thus for Chökhor Düchen in the year of the Snake, a Grand Earth Trine creates the magical star with the summer's perceptive 'Grand Water Trine, accenting intuition and feminine sensitivity (which we all have in varying degrees) to help us to see the Truth of things as they really are.
☸ Four Noble Truths:
☸ 1. Life is suffering.
☸ 2. The origin of suffering is attachment (to desire, aggression or ignorance).
☸ 3. The cessation of suffering IS attainable.
☸ 4. There is a path to the cessation of suffering.
~> the Dharma path _(♥)_ living life for the benefit of others.
Dedicating all merit and positive actions of body, speech & mind (word, thought and deed), to heal the suffering, wherever it is found _(♥)_

Saka Dawa Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini ~> June 2012
Full Moon full moon lunar eclipse is a big day for Tibetan Buddhists, marking SAGA DAWA, the day we celebrate the birth, enlightenment and parinirvana of Sakyamuni Gothama Buddha ♥_/|\_ ૐ
This eclipse sees the Moon at 14 Sagittarius aligning with the ‘Great Attractor’, opening a portal for the mind-stream in truth to attract, imbibe and embody the sacred heart of the cosmos. For the meditator this is an optimum opportunity for impartial observation of all sensation (internal-external, yin-yang, sun-moon) harmonising earthly heart-mind with an illuminating awakened spirit.
Be extra attentive to the subtle body, with chakras and channels super sensitive during this opening of space time: Because of the dramatic changes taking place (within & without), eclipses can be an integral (and sometimes the backdoor) passage for spiritual evolution. On a relative level we often witness watersheds and transformational situations during eclipse season, especially if the degree of the eclipse constellates our own horoscope. Lunar eclipses tend to show results quicker than solar counterparts.
This is a Karma multiplied day (x 10 million during eclipse) ♥ = Breathe, be the LIGHT ~> be kind to self & others ~> In presence, living the LOVE ♥_/|\_ ૐ x
Lunar eclipse is at total conjunction at 11:11 UT (! :)), visible in the Far East & China.

Karmic Balance ~ Sun conjunct Saturn in Libra ~ 1st Oct 2010
Facing up to the consequences of the karmic law of cause and effect need not be unpleasant. Indeed, providence can be positively encouraging when we when we come from the heart spirit and take responsibility for all our relationships; for that is when the love-light shines to illuminate all kinds of difficult situations, helping to resolve peacefully together, with kindness and diplomacy.
Remember that we tend to attract what we need (to learn) in order to become wise.
I also find it interesting how all three leaders of British politics, David Cameron, Nick Clegg, and now Ed Miliband are all cardinal signs; complete with the drama in the personal lives of Libran Cameron and Capricorn Miliband, who really are dealing with massive karmic responsibility.

Transform collective karma by co-creating loving kindness ~ New Scorpio Moon + Saturn square Pluto 09
Like the heavens, nature also mirrors thoughts, feelings and events we encounter in our lives. So while we (in the northern hemisphere) enter late autumn watching the trees develop into stark skeletons as dark nights draw in, the call of a friendly fireside could remind us of cyclic existence and how all things must die in order to be reborn; and how any kind of death leads to the promise of rebirth and regeneration, be it figurative or real, the meditation is upon impermanence.
Tomorrow’s new Scorpio moon is with Ceres and Venus, helping us to take a kindly look at all kinds of various subjects we’d normally consider taboo. With Scorpio’s heightened perception, no matter how much we might want to sugar coat situations, the reality check is that when we look through and past the bombardment of superficiality, we could now see how a price must be paid before witnessing signs of new growth. As harsh as that may be, we seem to have reached a crisis point in so many areas, personal and environmental. Pluto ruled Scorpion’s may have already sensed the urgent need for regeneration and consolidation, especially in light of the now tight aspect between stabilising Saturn squaring up to Pluto, planet of restoration. To now stylishly trim and make cut-backs in any sphere of life prone to straggling loose ends would be a smart move, to avoid being tripped-up later on. When taking what might initially seem like harsh measures, remember we are only clearing the ground for something to grow far stronger and more beautiful. Being brave enough to throw out the dross and preserve that which has profound meaning ensures lasting value. The nerve to release and let go of negative or mistrustful thoughts, situations and people, comes from deep within; once tapped, a forever open power supply flows from a previously hidden resource activates a courageous and deeply sexy heart.
Saturn in Libra now getting up-close and personal with Pluto in Capricorn suggests important and intimate relationships also benefit from a long hard look at how to create positive restitution. Balance and fairness is called for, not only in business partnerships, love affairs, relationship to authority, finances or even looks, but also how we invest time and effort with those we love. The apparent collective techno-mania, as symbolised by the triple Aquarian conjunction, so easily sucks away people’s enthusiasm and quality time for the real world. Are we in danger of turning into egotistical robots while relationships and/or health suffer?
Yet we are only human, each with our own human weakness that, with awareness, we can slowly but surely awaken the heart and rid ourselves of our personal foibles. What transpires over the coming eight months while these two planetary heavyweights are in this last closing square (from a cycle begun in 1982, to close again in 2020) will depend upon how much we really care for ourselves and for each other, and how we are able to make love the overriding principle and stop fear from being the active condition.
There is a sense of urgency as the outer planets muster to create a powerful force of change in 2010, when having a brave heart to foster and cherish all we hold dear will stand us in victorious stead for the year ahead. This means sensitively looking after oneself, friends and family, our community, and ultimately, mother Earth. The time for renewal is now, for the return of growth to be so much more serene. One last note; yesterday, from a Tibetan Buddhist connection, I received a list of pointers on how to generate powerful karma. Saturn, lord of Karma, is now in Libra, the sign of peaceful relations: the Karma of Love becomes evermore pertinent, and the way of the heart more realistic. And as Saturn recently extended its sphere of influence with a brand new super ring, with a certain discipline everyone can learn how to avoid the drama and crisis that Pluto in Capricorn might use as tools of control.
What I really liked about this page is how the points are practical and achievable. Here is the link: Enjoy!

Lhabab Düchen ~ 11-11-11 ~ Buddha returns from the 33
Monday is a multiplied karma day; when the effect and merit of actions, thoughts and words are multiplied by 100,000,000! So best be mindful throughout the day, or at least try (as in my case!). Lhabab Duchen is one of the four most important days in the Buddhist calendar. The 15th day of the 9th Tibetan month sees the celebration of Buddha’s return to earth after three months and seven days of dharma teaching to his mother in the realm of the 33, the sphere of the Deva’s. (Mystic numerologists will be interested to see this festival of the 33 is in the week of 11-11-11, adds up to 33!)
By all accounts Buddha left Earth and entered Deva Heaven at the age of 41. Astrologers will note a classic mid-life point of dramatic change, as shown by the transiting planet of change, Uranus, in opposition the natal Uranus, due to its’ 84-year cycle. Almost everyone goes through a powerful awakening around the age of 40-42 (with the possible exception of a triple Taurean – only kidding: Buddha was Taurus). Breaking off from someone or something or bringing something to completion that allows the individual to move towards creating a second part of life in order to fulfil some kind of dream or ambition is common at this time of life. For the Buddha it was an act of repaying the kindness to his mother for bringing him into this world. That Buddha had such a mid-life turning point (not exactly the same as the crisis we lesser mortals may create) makes the teachings all the more human.
From the bliss realms Buddha returned to Earth via a triple ladder, which was made by Vishvakarma, the Hindu god of architecture and machines. Built from gold, crystal and lapis lazuli, the triple ladder stretched all the way from Mount Meru. At the appointed hour (on the last quarter moon) on the right-hand golden ladder appeared the all-powerful, all-seeing Bramha, with the fine form deities; on the left-hand crystal ladder came dorje wielding Indra, with the Lords of the sensual worlds; while Buddha descended via the central lapis lazuli ladder, representing the middle path and an intimate relation with the realms of meditation, infinite space and infinite consciousness; thus bringing heaven to earth and illustrating how to overcome the duality of form and formless, nothing and everything.
The festival is celebrated this year while the Sun is in Scorpio, signalling renewal, if not of faith then perhaps strength, and in a tight ’T’ to the almost infamous triple (that word again!) Aquarian conjunction in exact square to the Moon in Leo, now conjunct warrior Mars. The ego-war is on: the natives are restless in the healing quest for divine liberation!
By next weekend we have Saturn in Libra finally making the square to Pluto. Unless one remains resolute it could be all too easy to slip into the all-controlling unseen fear vibration. Transforming suffering into happiness might not seem positive to some on the surface, but in my humble opinion is the only way to deal with such heavy aspects, and respond with the renewal of two of the most important aspects of being: heart and psyche (more on that later).
But first some technical info: This square is part of a greater cycle that began in 1982, when Saturn was also exalted in Libra; and it ends in 2020 when Saturn will be at home in Capricorn. Therein lies the clue in how to handle the cycle: makes friends with Saturn and build a sustainable society based upon (Libran) PEACE & LOVE.
As two planets dance around the Sun they form angles to each other, the 90 degree squares and 180 degree oppositions being notoriously the hardest, but often the most interesting to deal with. The first square these two heavy-weights made in '93 locked both planets in home signs: Saturn in Aquarius, Pluto in Scorpio. Responsible collective regeneration becoming key words, even here, at this early stage of the cycle.
The opposition was in 2001, when Saturn was in Gemini and Pluto in Sag, when we saw truth become the order of the day. Now we are at the closing square - except we are one whole Saturn cycle on. This means that (along with the rest of us and those whose charts seriously constellate with these degrees and planets) a whole bunch of 28-29-30 year olds are intensely feeling the pressure to renew resources, as they could quite easily see the writing on the wall by the time the two planets meet again to complete the cycle in boundary making Capricorn. Interesting times...
