△ The beautifully inspiring 'Grand Fire Trine' between the exalted Aries Sun with Uranus/Mercury, forming a triangle between fellow signs with Jupiter in Leo, and Saturn in Sagittarius, generates a dynamic kind of magnetism this week which can raise the heat in certain situations, as well as burn away the dross. One of the planets involved in this fabulously creative Fire Trine, Jupiter, the cosmic magnifier is also going direct on Wednesday, after four and a half months retrograde motion, giving a greater perspective on matters of the heart, devotion, and spiritual treasures.

△ When a planet ‘stations’ upon certain degrees (to go either direct (as in Jupiter’s current case) or retrograde) it heightens the importance of the issue denoted by that degree, deepening the meaning of any associated experience. At 12 degrees Leo, beneficent Jupiter suggests it is now time to be strong, shine, and grow the love by opening one’s heart to the creative spirit.

☼ Sun in Aries opposite Mars in Libra _/♥\_ April 7~8th~9th

Involving Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, the complex Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun continues to come to perfection (April 20th) to raise individual and collective consciousness. And only a week away (15th) is a lunar eclipse that heightens the intensity of current celestial dynamism.

The illuminating Sun conjunct radical Uranus in Aries still encourages a sudden awakening to our true Buddha nature: that all is beauty, goodness and love. Even so this combination of planets can also mirror dramatic shifts and change and a disruption of regular flow, in whichever direction. Mindfulness and meditation will soothe frayed nerves, especially while the exalted Aries Sun is being opposed by Aries ruler, dynamic Mars. Mars is retrograde during this opposition (exact April 8th 21:03gmt), raising heat and passion, and also making these optimum nights for seeing the scarlet planet high in the midnight sky.

All this is happening at the same time as the First Quarter Goddess Tara Medicine Buddha Moon in nurturing Cancer. The astral healing focus is upon feeding the soul, finding a balance and actively stabilising energy levels - physical, mental and emotional, as key to pacifying the heart-mind and body during profound moments (of awareness of self in relation to others). Though Mars is in fall in Libra; the Peace Warrior suggests we also raise the all-important cosmic love vibration, which revitalises relationships. Check Mars and the Sun (and other Cardinal signs) in your charts at 18/19 degrees Aries, see if too much stimulation makes it difficult to relax (in partnership), or maybe there’s not enough activity to get agreements/projects off the starting block, with obscuration in various energy fields. When Spirit Sun is in Aries (March 20th – April 20th) the celestial spotlight shines upon ‘self’, and the radiant nature of the Divine emanates spontaneously with innocent, child-like joy. And in a helpful last major aspect of this lunation, this confident and exalted Aries Sun makes a sextile to the sensitive waning Moon in friendly Aquarius. It’s an extremely ‘yang’ dynamic between elements fire and air today, but with an even deeper connection between Sun and Moon, insomuch that the fiery Sun is also applying a conjunction to the liberating and altruistic planet Uranus, which rules Aquarius, the sign where the Moon now creates an emotional bond between kindred spirits to become more experimental and expressive. ♥ Goddess Tara & the Capricorn Moon ~> March 24th _/♥\_

The closing square between the dynamic Sun in Aries (conjunct Uranus) and the conventional Capricorn Moon (conjunct powerful Pluto opposite Jupiter) is an extremely assertive combination; one which demands respect to the feelings brought about witnessing the traditional world as it struggles to transform and release the old and outmoded. At the same time, the start of spring invites us to move forward, be modern, and grow creatively.

But no sooner does the Spring Equinox announce this seasonal starting block, the energies of the last quarter of the Moon urge one to be realistic and reflect upon what we also need to take care of ourselves, to make sure we maintain strength and stamina to navigate the coming weeks of the year’s most dramatic and climactic Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun (which has a similar intensity to the summer of 2010). Obstacles may need to be cleared, tidied and/or healed before feeling really confident about revealing intentions to one and all. And it’s true, certain issues could be tricky to resolve, but patience, discipline and structured research sees positive results, with resistance dissolving by the start of a new lunation which comes in with a bang and the New Aries Moon, March 30th. ★ ☽ Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn ☾ ★ April 2012

According to the heavens, we are currently in the midst of fast-moving, bizarrely predictable yet unexpected change, with a plethora of newness symbolised by this present Aries conjunction that sees Uranus, Sun, Venus & Mars, all ramping up fiery fervour and passion to impulsively leap into action.

But wait. Before jumping into situations unknown, hold courage close to heart. The last quarter Tara – Medicine Buddha Moon in Capricorn also brings the personal healing touch and much-needed transformation into sharp focus, as well as a call for pragmatic wisdom. The sensitive Moon now conjuncts secretive Pluto in judicious Capricorn: Intuition guides with discipline, to leave no stone unturned when dealing with all things hidden. Even with difficult issues, calling upon the healing power of the Goddess now helps to overcome obstacles, and may even reveal a buried treasure - a previously hidden emotional or spiritual strength that helps to rise above daily challenges (which appertain to ambitions and accomplishment).

Now is the time to remove and let-go of all that no longer serves healing and purpose.
