✶ Dakini Day Lama Tsong Khapa Day Dec '18

✶☽ 2nd Dec ~> The last Dakini Day of 2018 comes before a New Sagittarius Moon on the 7th December, three weeks before Solstice and the longest night/day of the year (depending upon which hemisphere you are in). This dark moon, before Spirit Sun changes emphasis of Light on the 21st Dec, therefore compounds any need for rest, reflection and recuperation. Turning YINward for the next five days allows the feminine Yin's soulful cool earthy darkness to grow the more gentle qualities of wisdom, fairness and compassion.

✶☽As a glorious sky-dancing Goddess generously awakens loving kindness within every heartmind, the waning Moon in peaceful and social Libra harmoniously activates Spirit Sun in convivial and scholarly Sagittarius, for the Lights to concentrate the ‘higher mind’ to find emotional and spiritual balance through philosophy, culture and beauty. When the Dakini Moon is in airy Libra, partnerships get an ethical reset: hardened principles that make it difficult to relate can soften with an appreciation of what others may be going through. With a bright rational, this Dakini Goddess is civilised, always aware of the plight of others – especially with those she shares her life. This Moon is also conjunct Pallas Athena, accenting a powerful feminine warrior woman.
Before setting the intention with a New Sagittarius Moon, Sun AND Jupiter on the 7th, note forward moving Mercury can help to hone into certain subjects and sharpen one’s INsight.  Also worth bearing in mind is how Sun and New Moon will conjunct a part of the sky called the ‘Great Attractor’: be aware that intentions set at this New Moon can greatly magnetise.

✶☽Today is also an important day in our Tibetan Buddhist calendar: not only it is DAKINI day, with Sun and Moon in the last 'harmonious' aspect of a waning lunation, accenting the Sagittarian Guru wisdom because it is also Lama Tzongkhapa day, honouring the 14th Century founder of the Galugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism, to which both His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, and my late Lama, Venerable Lama Kirti Tsenshab Rinpoche belong.

And it’s also Hannuka – a festival of Light for Jewish friends! :))

This is certainly a wonderful time to go easy on oneself – and others – to socialise and be with friends, and to reflect upon this passing year whilst contemplating future plans in the upcoming year of the Earth Pig.
Wishing everyone a very happy Lama Tsong Khapa Dakini Day!

Dec 27-28th ~> Lama Tzongkhapa & Dakini Day ~ ☼ ♑ ✶ ☽ ♏

☼ ♑ ✶ ☽ ♏
Post Solstice and Xmas, the Solar year comes to a close – as does this current lunation with the deeply insightful and feminine Scorpion Moon making a concluding, harmonious Sextile aspect to the practical Capricorn Sun. These last days of 2013 are therefore particularly yin, inward and reflective. And with both solar and lunar cycles heading for a union at the New Moon starting the Solar Year, January 1st is already marked as a ‘SuperMoon’ with a concealed Plutonic power that aides the process of extraordinary renewal in an almost enforced revitalisation, be it financial, emotional or environmental. The tantrica’s active participation in the transformation of hidden, subtle energies also reveal the intimate secrets of awakening bodhi-mind with an expansion of consciousness: the altruistic awareness karmically responsible, golden and glowing – ready for 2014’s dreams and drama, as well as tending the ordinary with a joyful heart.

So not only does today’s strong and meditative Dakini Day embolden courage,  insight and perception, as the magnetic Goddess conjoins the karmic North Node, but this Moon in Scorpio also hooks into the ongoing trineS between both, expansive Jupiter and shamanic Chiron. Within this healing perspective, searching deeper into and through difficult parts of the heart-mind and psyche, there’s a strengthening sense of fulfilment by clearing the way for a New Year New Moon by letting go of any residue sticky thoughts/feelings/ideas, as 2014 is a year for the heroic Spiritual Warrior to generate bodhicitta, create inner balance and peace, develop personal faith and, with an understanding of the law of karma, becoming even more responsibly aware of the interconnectedness of all life.

Today’s auspicious Dakini Moon also coincides with the day we celebrate the Mahanirvana of Lama Tsong Khapa, Losang Drakpa, the 15th century teacher and founder of the Galugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism, to which His Holiness Dalai Lama belongs.  In this spirit, the artwork by Bernart Amygdalah, is a flower offering to the Red Dakini Goddess and all precious teachers. Lama Tsongkhapa & Dakini Day! Dec 2012

Lama Tsongkhapa & Dakini Day ~> Tashi Delek! _/♥\_

Today in Tibetan Buddhism we feast and celebrate the life of Lama Tsongkhapa, Tibet’s great 14th century scholar and practitioner and founder the yellow hat Galug tradition.

From an astrological perspective, this weekend’s Libra Dakini Moon is feminine and cultured, inspired by beauty, peace and harmony. In good aspect to the far-reaching Sagittarian Sun, a poised Libra Moon coupled with a visionary archer leads the spirited heart-mind towards joyful balance, rendering a great weekend for social merry-making with friends and loved ones.

Coming after two change-inducing eclipses, this Dakini Moon also heralds the end of another eclipse season (until April 2013) and effectively brings the solar 2012 year to a close; for these next few days are when the luminaries, Sun and Moon, are at their least bright (in the northern hemisphere) and come to a closing cycle. Both New Moon and the north's shortest day, Winter Solstice, are still days away until Yule's turning point. Its therefore important to also rest and nourish mind and body at this time of year, keeping ones’ internal light aflame, especially before the new Sagittarian Moon on the 13th, which immediately follows the numerically charged darkest day of the year, 12:12:12 – These numbers suggest a triple layered solar logos: outer, inner & secret, i.e personality (self) in relation to environment and spirit, having the will to seed the everyday reality of love-wisdom and compassion. _/♥\_

Solstice ♥ Lama Tsongkhapa ♥ DAKINI day & Hannuka Dec'11

Today is an important day in the Buddhist calendar: not only it is DAKINI day, with Sun and Moon in the last 'harmonious' aspect of a waning lunation, accenting a feminine kind of Sagittarian wisdom; But it is also Lama Tzongkhapa day, honouring the 14th Century Tibetan founder of the Galugpa sect, which His Holiness, the Dalai Lama heads.

And it’s also Hannuka! :))

So I thought I'd share Dakini VajraYogini's beautiful mandala, the timeless tetrahedron: a multi-cultural, multi-symbolic six-pointed star.

Also worthy of ASTRO NOTE is how love Goddess Venus & responsible Saturn are sill in that tight celestial embrace called 'mutual reception', only now the Moon is with Saturn, in harmonious sextile to the wise Saggie almost SOLSTICE Sun; what we learn now can make our LOVE more REAL. :)) _(♥)_´¯`•.¸¸.•L❀VEly•´¯`•.
