The sensitive Moon in optimistic Sagittarius opposes the expansive Sagittarian ruler, Jupiter, this Easter Sunday/Monday, making Jupiter the planet to uplift and influence our emotions and, more importantly at this moment in time, our cosmic DNA.

Generous Jupiter is the celestial Guru, teaching spiritual growth though morals and ethics, impersonal analysis, and big-hearted benevolence. Our last FULL MOON of the Dragon year plays out with a heart-centred Leo Moon, positively aglow with LOVE. It’s the kind of all-encompassing love that radiates joy, compassion, kindness, and equanimity: qualities known in Buddhism as ‘The Four Immeasurables’.

This infinite and heart-liberating love can be given freely, without strings or attachment. In fact, with the 7degrees altruistic Aquarian Sun and full Leo Moon in a hard ‘T’ square aspect to disciplined Saturn, it is the Spiritual Warrior’s responsibility to transform romantic love, and the love of friends and family, into a sublime and sacred love – with an all-embracing reverence for all sentient beings. Doing so also includes loving oneself, which may now even entail clearing difficult obstacles that prevent one from fully and freely loving, such as fear, doubt, jealousy or obsession - all of which is profoundly rewarding. _/♥\_

☼ Progressive Astro-Tech: The humanitarian and future-orientated Aquarian Sun is opposite the playful and generous Leo Moon; and both are also in good aspect to broad-minded Jupiter and innovative Uranus. Tara Moon~> 3rd Jan 2013

Just as the beginning of this lunation’s first quarter Solstice moon was laden with change, so too is this last quarter Moon in Libra also charged with the need to make adjustments. The Moon, currently opposite Uranus, is the main indicator of a challenging kind of change, which requires diplomacy, tact and discretion, especially when striving to achieve peace within oneself, as well as in relationship.

Luna’s light also forms a ‘Grand Air Trine’ with expansive Jupiter beaming high in the night sky in communicative Gemini, and active Mars in friendly Aquarius; the ‘Grand Trine’ tends to spark the intellect and make the mind versatile, making tonight an optimum time to socialise and actively seek out common bonds between friends, neighbours and partners, and to exchange ideas and altruistic visions of the future that can establish happiness and harmony. Sounds like an ideal start to the first weekend of 2013!

Lammas Full Moon in Aquarius ~ August 2012

A fantastic Lammas full Moon is on the rise to be exact Wednesday night/Thursday morning, 4:27 British Summer Time, at 10 Degrees of Leo and Aquarius, when the light of a confident and radiant Leo Sun is brilliantly reflected by the group-orientated Aquarius Moon.

This dynamic, fun, and positively glorious celestial connection awakens a generous heart and altruistic intention in a lightening fla sh. Those with Leo and Aquarius planets prominent in the horoscope may be more aware than most how each and every one of us plays a unique and integral part in the continually evolving whole. But all of us could find a comfortable and favourable place within one’s circle of friends that enables connections to kindred spirits to thrive as well as nurture.

Love Goddess Venus completes her epic cosmic dance _/\_♥

Many relationships will now feel renewed, deepened or released, so that compassion and kindness can blossom and bloom. This is the sum effect of the recently dramatic retrograde of the Venus transit to our heart star, the Sun, as Venus is now stationed to go forward and complete her cosmic dance at 7 Gemini on Wednesday. Look to this point in your ‘scope to see where in the sphere of life communicating from the heart-mind has taken unprecedented importance, and where learning to unconditionally love oneself is based on informed truth, a radiant kind-of consciousness, not ego. This amazing once-in-a-lifetime retrograde, as the Love Goddess aligned with Spirit Sun, together they showed how to connect in love, with beauty, to one’s self, to others, and the community at large. Now all we have to do is to add Jupiter’s ability to expand our understanding of love (July 14th- 24th) and all that we treasure, and encourage the generous heart-mind to grow and be positive in everyday relations.

Developing the celestial theme of unconditional love to also emphasise the need for balance, peace and harmony, in all circumstance, is the heaven's taskmaster Saturn (who has also just turned direct, exhalted in Libra), joined by the sensitive Libra Moon, just as Venus turns direct! Venus is therefore extremely influential, as she is the planet to rule the sign Libra. Generally speaking, when the Moon conjuncts Saturn, the reality check can seem like a day or two of harsh karmic lessons. But the more effort we consciously make to remain centred and listen to the heart, the less likely we are to be knocked off balance, but instead retain self-esteem and self-worth.

The kindest we can be, instead of passing Saturnian judgement or creating more obstacles, is to realise that time is often needed to get things (relationship/job/finances) just right and that, as long as our desires do not harm anyone, living in pleasure and love, we are all a ‘work in progress’.
