♃ ♍ - Jupiter in Virgo - August 11th 2015 - September 10th 2016

“Out of chaos comes order” …Quick, tidy your desk, put away the dishes, make lists, and generally be the most super-organised you can, and get ready to honour the movement of the Cosmic Guru Jupiter into Virgo today (@12:11bst)! The last time Jupiter was in Virgo was 12 years ago; and you may find correlations from back then, especially in the way you wish you serve others, as there are now. You see, when the Zodiac's Sacred Teacher is in the sign of the Virgoan Goddess of Perfection, the overview shifts from the Leonine ego and self, to that of helping oneself to help others to be the best they can be too.

♃ ♍ - Jupiter’s move into pure and practical, smart and earthy Virgo heralds a time of healing with working wisdom, as well as having a greater perspective upon the small things in life, such as the way we treat animals, as well as objects used to heal and communicate our personal details with such as mobile computers, phones – even the health of the bees, which are ruled by Jupiter, and threatened by chemicals, mites and radiowaves, are cosmcially bound to become common knowledge

♃ ♍ - With any major planetary move there are always the connections made between the heavenly bodies to consider. At the time of Jupiter’s tropical ingress into the sign of the wise feminine there several important astrological aspects; to begin with Jupiter is joining an exalted Mercury in Virgo, highlighting the need for clear and concise communication;  conjunct Venus imparts hope and optimism – this is the ‘can do’ factor, and with the love in your heart one needs, because Jupiter is also in square to Saturn (a major theme for this more-than-a-year-long passage), which means that many of the big things, such as plans, events, situations, or even relationships that have been too grand, too large or too unworkable will need to scale down and become much more manageable. Luckily, we have until September 2016, before Jupiter moves into Libra, which is more than enough time to perfect patience.

♃ ♍ - This Virgo Jupiter is also conjunct Regulus, a glorious (mag1) fixed star which indicates unbridled success - but only if we are able to control negative emotions. And with Jupiter opposite Neptune at home in Pisces, which is also Jupiter’s traditional sign, the challenge is to learn from and to avoid negative emotional states. From a personal point of view this means upping our education (no bunking off, now), and becoming wise enough to know when to back-off and away from destructive situations that harm ourselves and others. From a collective point of view it’s imperative that we now begin to take responsibility, on mass, to recognise that the Earth requires a powerful healing from the various toxic impurities inflicted upon our Mother. Jupiter in Virgo will highlight the need to purify our planets’ water, seas, oceans and rivers, so the next generation can enjoy the clean and healthy living we would also like for ourselves. Lastly, in Jupiter’s own sign of the archer, Sagittarius, we find the warrior woman Pallas Athena (and in my time zone she is conjunct the part of fortune!); this is a signal to make plans (if only as guidelines) and to be aware of how strategy influences outcome.  Synthesizing all these aspectes if becomes clear that now, more than ever we now need to motivate ourselves to live for the benefit of others.

<3 A short invocation _/\_ “May we all do our best to heal our negative emotions. May we remove all obscurations of body, speech and mind, to be clear, healthy and wise, so that all beings (seen and unseen) enjoy a happy and wholesome life and planet!”  - May it be so….

Dakini Day 8:8:8 ~> 9/8/8 ;)

8:8:8 - 9/8/'8' ~> This lunations' magical Dakini Day coincides with a numerological star gate: 8 is a number representing ‘Infinity’, associated with boundless courage, strength and stamina – qualities also associated the fixed fire sign Leo, as well as the Sacred Feminine.
ॐ_/\_ With Spirit Sun in fiery Leo, now joined by active Mars, and this summer’s beautiful Venus and Jupiter conjunction also accenting the power of love, the potential to stir the fire within is heightened. In Tantra, the element of fire is linked to a wisdom that helps one to realize loving kindness and compassion, as well as fully understand the meaning of emptiness and bliss.
ॐ_/\_ On Sunday Sol also makes a harmonious sextile to the waning Moon in airy Gemini, connecting to the Goddess (within), to fan the flames of fire in the belly, stir passion, motivation, and the drive to ignite (and maintain) a powerful internal enthusiasm which provides personal self-control and power.
ॐ_/\_ Bathe in Sun's rays for a few minutes and quickly energise inner-heat; or, if that is not possible, imagine the Love-Light and warmth of the Sun radiating into every cell of your being. Yogis and Yogini use several breathing meditations that assist kindling inner fire: by focusing upon the Hara, ((aka the DanTien), three fingers below your navel), one can touch base with a powerful source of creative energy. _/\_ Please only use these techniques if you have been taught them by qualified teachers. smile emoticon If you’re new to meditation, best focus upon long, calm and deep breaths and allow the rise and fall of the stomach to energize a natural feeling of greater potency. Most important is to allow time to perfect any asana, posture, or technique (which can take years wink emoticon ) heart emoticon With this Moon in Gemini, the intuitive Goddess helps to now overcome dualistic thinking about success and/or failure, rather the most important aspect of her wisdom is to be at one where we are and encourage playful creativity with a happy heart – in the present, at same time synthesising resent events and preparing for a glorious Leo New Moon on the 14th August. _/\_

☼ Aurora alerts ~>

Aurora alerts ~> Solar winds riding high during this lunation's Last Quarter Tara Moon - a moon cycle that began with celebrating Chökhor Düchen and Buddha's first teachings (of the 4 Noble Truths) now comes to an end with the ability to understand the nature of reality by allowing oneself a pragmatic yet spiritual overview _/♥\_
☼ As the harvest now begins (of healing herbs and food) the nurturing Moon is exalted in the sign Taurus; and the life-giving Sun radiates from its regal domain at the centre of a generous Leonine heart. The Sun is also now at one of eight Solar fire festivals. At the Fixed Fire cross-quarter point of the Sun wheel, the focus is upon the the fruits of our own labour, as well as that of beloved Mother Earth.
☽··✰ Sky dancers can also look forward to the Perseid meteor shower this week, which has already begun and promises to be this year's shooting star attraction! A waning moon heading towards Dark Moon on the 13-14th makes the Green Wood Goat a peak viewing year. Look to the North East and, light pollution notwithstanding, you may well witness a delightful display ☼ ☆•*¨*•.¸¸

☆ •°*☾ ◯☽ *°•.☆ Guru Purnima ~> Blue Lammas Moon _/♥\_

July’s consciousness-raising Blue Moon, tomorrow, Friday 31st @8Aquarius-Leo 11:42BST, is astrologically marked for honouring spiritual friends and teachers, with a Full Moon known as ‘Guru Purnima’. Even if we get our knowledge or understanding from a book, now is the time to acknowledge those who share their sagacity, insight and intelligence. Many in the ego-driven West think honoring transcendental teachers is beyond personal remit; and often we believe we can become realised beings on our own. But it is the rare jewel who comes into the world radiant and enlightened, as someone usually has to teach us the basics in almost everything, from sitting in the correct position to breathing meditation, so that we can practice and perfect. Imagine a world if everyone kept and guarded for themselves all they knew and understood!

Its worth mentioning that the whole point about gaining wisdom and spiritual realisation is to be able to generate Bodhicitta, which is the Tibetan Buddhist word for the dedication to live for others to gain full enlightenment. To help us reach this same enlightened state, spiritual teachers open our hearts to remove fear and obscuration; at the same time they impart motivation and encouragement so we can become aware of our own personal skills and means to help ourselves to help others. For all this we give thanks at this special cross-quarter (Lammas) Full Moon of Fixed Fire and Air, when clarity and confidence can inspire, setting the heart-mind onto a powerful and positive trajectory with determination and focus  _/\_

From the esoteric astrological point of view the hierarchical ruler of the Moon is Aquarius, suggesting objectivity is required when tuning into intuition, especially when dealing with emotions, or emotional situations. Note: By being love and repeatedly doing what is best for everyone, miracles will surely happen.

☽ New Moon in Moon-ruled Cancer ♋ 15th/16th July 2015 ~>

☼ ✰··☾♡☽··✰ ☼
Tonight/Tomorrow’s New Moon in Cancer @2:25BST (21:25EST) accents deeply emotional reactions to issues that can make one feel defensive and want to crawl back into the proverbial crab shell. There's also a tendency to be impressionable, absorbing other's emotions easily. Psychic interconnection heightens when Sun and Moon are in Cancer - all of which may or may not be a good thing, depending upon how this profound sensitivity to others is used.

Sun & Moon, ‘The Lights’, are also making a several complex connections in the sky, involving a helpful aspect to karmic Saturn, as well as being conjunct both, informative Mercury and dynamic Mars; these 'relationship' planets are also in Cancer, sparking off a potential new and passionate way of communicating how one cares, which is hopefully with creativity and kindness (perhaps even in reaction to all the heavier degradation we see around). And even though some interactions may raise the temperature, the trick is to catch any anger, or resentement and redirect any hot-headed passion (encountered or generated) into creative pursuits that make everyone feel secure.

All these planets in Cancer can also bring out a mothering instinct that kicks into action to relieve suffering, show mercy, and nurture and look after others as if they were family. This is the way of ‘The Bodhisattva’, a person who defers Buddhahood in preference to being a source of unconditional love, for all beings – not just human beings.

This New Moon also sparks the infamous 7-hit Uranus-Pluto square (the vibration of which lingers into 2018), which has been representing society’s radical changes, through technology (among other things). Our own ability to be the agent of our own change and exercise compassionate in any given situation may seem like a lot to ask for, but the heavens do tend to incline and not compel.

Lastly, this lunation also sees one of the year's most important Buddhist Wheel-Turning days, Chökhor Düchen, on the 20th July. , The 4th day of the 6th month in the Tibetan Calendar, is a karma-mulitplied day, commemorating the Buddha’s first teaching on ‘The Four Nobel Truths’. It is also when The Lights make their first positive aspect to each other enroute to a heart-healing Full Blue moon, July 31st.

☽ Sun in Cancer – Last Quarter Moon in Aries ~> ‘mutual reception’

Goddess Tara – Medicine Buddha Moon _/✿\_

Sun in Cancer – Last Quarter Moon in Aries

Due to an astrological association called ‘mutual reception’, this often tense combination of ‘The Lights’, at the Last Quarter Moon phase, can now actually work rather well. This is because both Sun and Moon are in signs in which the other is strengthened, i.e. the Sun is exalted in Aries and the Moon rules Cancer.

Goddess Tara now blesses this specific astral arrangement which enhances bravery as well as confidence, so that even unusually stressful conditions can quickly be resolved with courage and conviction. Also, as the hyper-sensitive Moon is currently conjunct Uranus, the planet of sudden surprise, events and ideas benefit from original thinking, uniquely outside any box. An impulsive quick change could easily lead to innovation – yet patience is still called for, especially when dealing with group situations, friends and technology. And as the Cancerian Sun also conjuncts Mars (the ruler of Aries) it’s compounds the momentum to make things happen, hopefully without becoming so self-absorbed that it kills empathy. Be aware that eradicating selfish elements (particularly within ones’ self) requires continual awareness, as well as tolerance, loving kindness, and repeated good intentions (so that one becomes familiar with raising the altruistic intention by doing what is best for everyone); and that catching ones’ self before frustration, resentment or anger takes over because others aren’t moving fast enough, or doing what we want, involves clear and objective self-awareness – and practice. For the spiritual warrior, each time we stop the mind from wandering into dangerous territory, where accumulated positive karma is wiped-out by anger in nanosecond, it's a victory towards liberation. Embrace such freedom now: there is no time like the present to increase compassion in action!

☼ △ ☾ Guru Rinpoche day June 26th 2015

☼ △ ☾ Every month on the 10th day of the lunar cycle, when Sun and Moon form a fabulous and dynamic association of ‘The Lights’, we, in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, honour the Lama, the Teacher (within). This day is also known as Guru Rinpoche day, honouring Padmasambhava, the 2nd Buddha (after Shakyamuni), ‘the lotus born’ who generated rainbows and brought the sacred art of Tantra from India to Tibet in the 8th century. Guru means teacher, and Rinpoche the ‘precious jewel’, thus energies surround this Moon phase are generally positive, guiding and helpful, especially when on the path of transformation.

☼ △ ☾ Today’s Guru Rinpoche day, 26-27th June is also very special, as it not only celebrates the birthday of the historical second Buddha of Tibet, Guru Padmasambhava, but there are no less than three major lineage holders whose birthday it is at the same time: His Holiness, the 17th Karmapa (30 year’s old); Dilgo Khyentse Yangsti Rinpoche (22), and most beloved Dzogchen Yogi, Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche (102!). Our very best wishes go to these esteemed lineage holders on this great day _/\_

As the radiant Sun blesses their familial Cancerian Spirts, the Moon in Scorpio can deepen heart connections that pave the way for profound self-liberation.
If you have a teacher whom you feel has helped you in any way to become a kinder, more loving, better you, today is the day to give thanks and allow those teachings to seep deeply into soul, and fuel creativity to raise consciousness and embody wisdom and compassion (and realise complete Great Enlightenment).

☼ △ ☾ Astro info ~> July 2nd’s Full Capricorn Moon on Thursday @3:19bst,  activates dynamic Divinity within the Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun; Pluto is with Luna, opposite Sun/Mars, and all in square to the nodal axis in Libra (NN) and Aries (SN).  FYI: The nodal axis is just now approaching an alignment with the Super Galagtic centre, i.e. the core around which zillions of galaxies are drawn. This full Moon presents the potent Solstice turning point; and it is loaded with powerful ‘unseen’, psychic vibration. Note that situations around this Full Moon, are cosmically bound to have a direct impact upon those at Equinox Solar Eclipse, September 28th.  But that’s way ahead! For now, lift one’s spirit and enjoy the Summer (in the North) or the growing light in the South.

With ℒℴѵℯ_/✿\_  & thanks all my teachers and to unknown Tangka painter. Happy Guru Rinpoche day Everyone!

☼ SOLstice June 21st 2015 ☼ ~. Cancer Ingress

☆•*¨*•.¸¸☾ Happy ☼ Solstice ☽¸¸.•*¨*•☆
June 21st SUNday @17:38bst, the Wood Goat year's SOLstice (Summer in the North, Winter in the South) is sealed with a truly stunning heavenly alignment combining the sensitive Moon, Love Goddess Venus, and Sacred Guru Jupiter with heroic fixed star Regulus. In Leo, the sign ruled by the Sun; this is a most strengthening and beneficial, heart-centred planetary pattern that bestows passion, artistic creativity, and faith in a higher, universal love.
The ability to forgive, be generous and show compassion, and actually embody the healing power of love is so symbolic of the night sky's union of the brightest and most beautiful. Lord Buddha once said “Hatred does not cease through hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love. This is an unalterable law.” And these three planets currently together do give the potential to open the heart-mind to a Divine and playful love which generates the optimism to maintain an enthusiastic joy - for life and for love. Practice using loving kindness now within less desirable situations or on difficult emotions, and by Wednesday's first quarter Moon, the consequence of current actions (in body/speech/mind) could be even more beneficial.
Have a lovely Solstice SUNday everyone! with ℒℴѵℯ_/✿\_

☽☼ ☾ ♊ Solstice New Moon ~> Tuesday 16th June @15:05UT

☼ ☾ As holy month Sakadawa closes, Tuesday's dynamic New Solstice Moon provides one of the most lively astrological lunations of the year. Not only is it Solstice next weekend – one of the year’s two major turning points, and a time of friendly gathering and celebration, there’s also a seriously exciting opening between generous and optimistic Jupiter and altruistic Uranus (22nd June), which will remain in big, visionary effect until the end of July.

☼ ☾ ♂  Also at this New Moon, Spirit Sun and strongman, passionate and fiery Mars will conjoin Luna, to be directly opposite the Galactic Centre, at 25 Gemini, in a part of the sky known to the ancients as ‘Heaven’s furrow’. This suggests our ancestors recognized a fertile ripple in the spacetime field, within which there’s the potential to imbibe pure Galactic light frequencies that help to nurture, feed the soul and grow, physically as well as spiritually.

Together, with the Moon and Mars aligned, SOL’s light of consciousness now tunes each individual into our core (galactic) values to the plant seeds of right action that accompany Gemini’s right speech and right mindfulness. The challenge, it would seem, is in setting and keeping the right Bodhisattva intention.  Best familiarise one's self with positive motivation to stay on track, as Mars can aggravate and antagonize the Monkey Mind to rise in anger (and we all know what that means: a tragic loss in karmic merit!).

☿ ♊~> Meanwhile a direct infomaniac Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, now moves away from its perfectly imperfect opposition to a retrograde Saturn, which gave form and finalisation to certain ideas.  Mercury only then squares nebulous Neptune – again, on the 23rd, to make things appear less formal and more formless, (Fyi: Sat-SQ-Nep is a major theme later in the year – so what is discussed/evolved/communicated now, can re-emerge again, late Autumn).

Curious Gemini questions the duality of everything and nothing, Samsara and Nirvana, form and formless, and how can it all exist side by side. Events surrounding this Solstice period provide insights into understanding what's real and what is illusion, i.e. what kind of karma we are creating, even when believing our often distorted sense perceptions?

So consider carefully, at this magic moment of the Great Galactic Yang, what would we, as a collective, really like to see growing now in ‘Heaven’s Furrow’?  First, though, before we quantum leap into singularity, or in and out of parallel universes, we may need to take stock of this one and stop deceiving ourselves, and/or others, and see the truth for what it is: All is Oneness in the spaciousness of beauty, LOVE, and light.

Enjoy! ~> Happy New Moon & Summer/Winter Solstice everyone _/\_  with ℒℴѵℯ and thanks for sharing and to unknown artist for glorious artwork  ॐ__/❤\__ ☼✶•*¨*•.¸¸❤✫

☆•*¨*•.¸¸❤ ☾☼ ☸ Happiness @ Saka Dawa Düchen ! ☸ ☼☽❤¸¸.•*¨*•☆

_/\_ SAKADAWA culminates today, June 2nd, celebrating the life, enlightenment and paranirvana, of Buddha Shakyamuni with a Full Sagittarius Moon (exact 17:19BST).

KARMA MULTIPLIED day X 10 Million

_/\_ As Saka Dawa is the most important sacred day of the Buddhist Calendar, today is optimum to engage in virtuous activities and spiritual practice.
_/\_ To ignite this most holy Festival of Lights (and burn the dross of yesterday’s heavy Moon-Saturn connection), a fiery and dynamic ‘Grand Fire Trine’ illuminates this Wood Goat year of SakaDawa. Involving the reflective, truth-seeking Sagittarian Moon, in helpful aspect to the Cosmic Guru, Jupiter, who is in heart-centred Leo, and also connecting to freedom-loving Uranus, in active Aries, this ‘Fire Trine’ positively inspires. Now is the time to radiate golden LoveLight; breathe in happiness, beauty and joy, and generate merit through playful loving kindness and generosity. Wake up and liberate the heart-mind and Spirit from ignorance and suffering! His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama says happiness is the purpose of living. Yet he also says that “Happiness is not ready made. It comes from our own actions”. Today’s Fire Trine provides just the spark which can activate the internal dynamo to arouse enthusiasm and restore faith and happiness, as well as lost mojos.
Go do your best! Draw back the Sagittarius Archer's bow and direct the arrow of intention to go forth & make Karmic Merit! smile emoticon Be the change you wish to see! Stay blessed! And enjoy! ~~~> May all beings be happy!

☸ With love & thanks to renowned Tibetan artist Karma Phuntsok for his beautiful Shakyamuni Buddha “Om Muni Muni MahaMunaya Soha” _/\_
