❂ Full Zodiac Blue Moon ~> Galvanze LOVE April 2019

Galvanize Love
with Divine Consciousness & the Full Zodiac Blue Moon ~>

The time-conscious Easter Rabbit is late this year: with a second, mega-strong Full Libra Moon the reason for such a tardy Easter bunny festival. As we head down the Full Moon rabbit hole (Did you see the black hole photo announcement?!), let’s check the usual formula for timing this most important festival which represents revival and transformation through self-sacrifice and death (of ego, winter – and Christ) which then leads to the resurrection (of Sun and Godhead), and that is the first Sunday after the Full Libra Moon after the Spring Equinox is the celebration of Easter. As such, this is a Lunar festival which moves around from year to year.

Way back in 1583 the Church made 21st of March the official date of the bright and promising Solar Fire Festival, Spring Equinox. Fast forward 450-ish years to 2019 and Equinox fell on 20th March, swiftly followed by the first Full Libra Moon at 0°. But because this is a Zodiac Blue Moon, i.e a second Full Moon in the same Zodiac Sign, (as well as being the traditional Farmer’s ‘Pink’ Moon) the Church is astrologically, if not technically following the rule correctly. Anyway, in the light of Notre Dame losing its roof and treasures, our thoughts go out to those devoted to ‘Our Lady’, the sacred Goddess ;)

The First Libra Moon at 0° was a month ago with the ‘Awakening Moon’, interestingly within orb of the recently announced image of M87’s Black Hole, aligning also with Laneakia, ‘Immeasurable Heaven’ and the heart of the Galactic Super-cluster, to which our Milky Way is an integral part. We have got to think BIG with such astronomical portents: there is no planet B, and being a human is a very rare thing in this universe (it would seem). Awakening to this bigger picture and our unique place in the universe can also replace any feelings of paucity or even small mindedness.

The Black Hole Sabian symbol also mentions waking: ‘The dawn of a new day reveals everything changed. The ever-present possibility of beginning again on a foundation of new values.’ This is a very hopeful discovery. Don’t give up on anything you consider important now!  Bear in mind longer cycles which show how we are traversing a time when old structures and traditions which cannot, for whatever reason, renew or refuse to be responsible for the karmic consequences they create and, indeed, have been busy creating since at least 1983-83 (as well as within the last 200 years), which are to be magnificently transformed in the coming couple of years. Some will be razed to the ground in order to be like a phoenix rising from ashes, stronger and renewed.

A month later than the Awakening Moon, a powerful demand for change once again commands attention for many reasons; and one of those is the ‘Zodiac Blue Full Moon’ which reaches the very last, 29° ‘anaretic’ degree of balanced Libra. This second Libra Full Moon means we are already experienced with the skillset found with Libran scales: beautiful poise, just morals, peaceful heart, all wonderfully executed within partnership and mediation (we hope). Yet only an hour after culmination, 11:10UT Friday April 19th, Luna shifts into Scorpio, accenting total metamorphosis. Scorpio is the sign of life, death and rebirth. Be aware: it is just after the Full Moon that situations are ripe for sudden and dramatic alteration. Secrets could spill and resources examined. Trust in the process of renewal is the key successful outcomes.

This is a potent Full Moon chart in so many ways; not least because a second Full Moon in the same zodiac sign is the ‘Blue Zodiacal Moon’, elevating cognizance with a hotline to the Divine. Occasionally, it seems, we do need a second crack at understanding how we feel, especially when it comes to relationships, and Libra rules all kinds of partnerships and contracts, in business as well as love. A Full Moon in Libra teaches us how to love and be fair without losing our sense of self, as it reflects the light of the self-orientated Aries Sun.

These Blue Zodiac moonbeams ride soulful blessings before the Full Moon, with a mindful Thursday 18th leading into the decidedly perceptive Easter Friday, and the second Libra Full Moon of the fertile Earth Sow year. Whether it is a Good Friday will depend upon tapping into emotional intelligence for inherent wisdom to shine though, so we can more easily stay on centre, release the old and welcome the new with sentient awareness.

A swift and sudden change of circumstance that has the potential to heal – even the collective chaos is slowly awakening to the need to heal: a theme shared with the exalted Aries Sun, also at the anaretic degree of 29° of the Ram. This is because Sol moves into Taurus exactly a day later, to join the planetary agent of change, Uranus (more on this in a moment). Restorative shared value systems are cosmically bound to come into the spotlight. Over the three-day Full Moon, i.e. Thursday, Friday and Saturday; both luminaries, the dynamic Aries Sun and thoughtful Libra Moon, shift signs first with a whimper and then with a bang.

All-the-while the Moon is once again a singleton with a rare and phenomenal run of five Full Moon’s in a row. Yet the Moon being on her own during her phase of culmination is coming to an end: this is the last time she will be unaccompanied. For the next Full Moon, Wesak Full Moon May 18th, Luna begins to approach lucky Guru Jupiter which is currently retrograde. So whatever is going on in our personal lives, Jupiter is the synthesizing agent within this horoscope, possibly going over old ground, seeking hopeful solutions to issues that can have galactic import.

But for now, all planets are on the other side of the sky for Luna to again hold the handle of a basket of portentous and heavy, weight-bearing planets. Once more the Luna Libra lovelight bestows reflective wisdom to the heart and soul of the people, encouraging us all to look at the karmic consequences of destructive actions and emotions. This time, however, it is how we specifically feel about beauty and art, law and finances, peace and power, and how we harmonise and balance in these areas.

If you want your prayers to take affect this Moon is a perfect time to make offerings. Love Goddess Venus (the planetary ruler of equanimous Libra) is still exalted in Pisces, defining cosmic and compassionate love. This second Moon is also called the ‘Christ Moon’ or ‘Krishna Moon’; therein lies the clue to our colourful blue factor: many Indian and Tibetan deities are blue in colour, indicating healing qualities as well as royal connections (to the Spirit Sun within). Blue heals on many levels; it soothes and cools anger and aggression and aids in clear and concise communication.

Working with colour can produce positive healing results. But there’s also the dynamic shape of this Full Moon chart to consider, when we include the nodal axis: The Cardinal Cross of the Central Spiritual Sun. This is perhaps the most dynamic Full Moon of the year, with various aspects ramping up the impulse to rebel as the Sun is with planet of change, Uranus, as well as healing asteroid Hygeia and hypothetical Vulcan melting and reforming, and creating the new and exciting. Such an emphasis within the Cross indicates we need to re-forge and reshape our relationship with spaceship Earth.

Change may be the order of the day but we humans are creatures of habit. Even when addictions are negative and toxic we can hold onto habits, kicking and screaming if anyone should suggest we make any modifications, to diet, exercise, lifestyle, thought patterns. And when we look at the bigger picture of where we are now faced with so many end-days scenarios, many are fearful of a world without all the things we have become dependent upon alcholo, sex and drugs yes, but also plastic, fuel and wifi pollute. Yet there are other, healthier ways to live, which when allowed to flourish heal quickly and deeply; ways that won’t upset the children and impart care and hope for a healthier future.

So while change can be very upsetting, when it comes in the form of the loss of work, loved ones, species, much-loved buildings, it all accents the very nature of impermanence. Much of the pain involved in times of transformation is held in a mindset locked in fear, pain and insecurity. This is very understandable. Any kind of change is often fraught by not knowing how to adjust and thereby experience what Buddhists call ‘the first kind of suffering’: the suffering of change. Even when we accept nothing stays the same forever it’s still often hard to take that first step towards a different road. Still, I ask, isn’t it better to voluntarily amend rather that be bitter or resentful about any change forced upon us? You see, it’s how we make the most of the opportunities which often come from leftfield during times of adjustment. Sometimes we react instinctively, which is okay if you’re a lifetime meditator. But with the airy Libra influence AND spacy, liberating Uranus with the Sun, opposite the Libra Moon, we will do well to give ourselves a little space or time to think before reacting. This is true when faced with any kind of provocation: think before acting or saying and doing something you might later regret. In said ‘space’ one can even grow wisdom and understanding. Breathe before reacting upon impulse; better to ask what kind of outcome to current developments will be for the benefit of others – as well as oneself.

To summise, 2019’s double-whammy Libra Full Moons are a celestial wake-up call to surround and emanate love. Socially minded Libra is a leading Air sign, encouraging us to breath into a calm and emotional centre and strengthen the connection to those around us in a profound and meaningful manner, as well as prepare for the inevitable time of renewal, renewal of self-love and love for others.

Be well. Be LOVE!
And actively create balance.
This Good Friday Full Zodiac Blue Moon is also Passover (another festival of liberation) AND Hannuman Jayanth, celebrating the birthday of India’s great and powerful Monkey God, Hannuman.

Until Wesak, I wish all a very happy Easter Good Friday Full Moon. May the blessings imbibe strength and be beautiful and loving…

Tara Moon ~> Venus & Uranus March 19

With the Moon now in Sagittarius, the last quarter Tara – Medicine Moon indicates wisdom in action before the dynamic New Moon, only a week away March 6th.

In Tibetan astro-science Venus is considered to be Tara’s ‘star’. One of the brightest celestial orbs, Venus is known in astrology as ‘Queen of the Heavens’; she is also the ruler of Taurus, the same sign into which the planet of change, freedom-loving Uranus is moving into on the New Moon. Airy Venus has featured in all Uranus’ recent moves; as such it’s crucial to watch Venus whens she interacts with Uranus over the coming years, as issues of freedom and changes to everyday values come to our attention.

Like Tara, the ‘Great Mother Liberator’, Venus is the planet of love, creating balance and harmony, fairness and fertility, peace and love. Venus in Capricorn is currently holding steadily to tradition, charming those with sway and control with beauty and brains, experience and dedication. While Venus reaches the degree of the sign of Mars’s exaltation (28 Capricorn), Mars is in Venus’s home sign, Taurus. Thus the cosmic lovers, Venus and Mars, can at least get along politely and connect diplomatically over a glass of something smooth, even if there are other kinds of relationship tension.

At the New Moon, however, a foremost feminine principal comes into sharper context, as Goddess Venus enters into Aquarius for a three-week period of 'mutual reception’ with socially minded Uranus highlighting our kindred spirits, human rights and natures’ freedom: beginning March 1st Venus moves into Aquarius, the sign rules by Uranus, all-the-while Uranus is in Taurus, the sign which rules Venus. This Uranus-Venus 'freedom-closeness dilemma' is a major theme even to be continued whenl Uranus leaves Taurus 2027, and enters Gemini, conjuncts Venus at 0degrees of the sign of the twins: a change in understanding duality, perhaps  .

Don't get confused now. Know your rights, and remember that love is all. Because this is basically a time for diplomacy when implementing wisdom-in-action. Get ready now: March will be quite a serious and busy time for the Sacred Goddess!

Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha! 🙏🤩🕉💚💜

and Mercury will be retrograde!

Day of Miracles ~ Great Light Festival ~ Wheel Turning day 2019

The Heroic Lion’s Roar ~>Awakening the Spiritual Warrior

“A hero is somebody who voluntarily walks into the unknown”. Tom Hanks

The first month of the voracious and fertile Earth Sow year shows initial promise bestowing magical light blessings that inspire and culminate with a fantastic Full Virgo Super Moon, Tuesday 19th (or 20th) February at 16:53 GMT.  This Full SuperMoon reflects the light of the Sun in watery Pisces, and will look larger than usual, impacting upon (emotional) tides for up to a week after Luna’s climax.

Should anyone offer you a metaphoric surfboard to ride overwhelming or choppy emotional waves, it is a realistic Virgoan influence that makes sure you can first swim before jetting through a rip tide with slip-sliding, groovy moves.

Whatever you are doing over the coming Full SuperMoon, get ready to be super versatile, especially when venturing into unchartered territory. At 0° Virgo, the Full Super Moon has a changeable and versatile quality which highlights the feminine strength of devoted LOVE WISDOM in action, a bit like an exotic temple filled with Italian Mama’s making sure you have eaten, slept, and loved enough.

This Supermoon also spotlights collective undercurrents as well as personal welfare and happiness – especially at work.
As the sign of the Fish is an all-consuming, all embracing collective sign, it’s possible many will also intuit the imperative (Virgoan) need to heal underlying toxic turmoil. Pisces can be easily lost in artistic creativity (or by hypnotised manipulation) and tends to spill-out, leaving the environmentally aware and pragmatic Virgo to mop-up the mess. In any event, if it all gets too much then this Full SuperMoon will provide the opportunity to fill your life with meaningful activity, be of service and dedicate karmic merit to the benefit of others.

As well as being deeply mystical, psychic Pisces is sensitive and compassionate, poetic and oceanic in feeling, the Fish shows how we struggle on fuelled by devotion (or confusion looking for confirmation and acceptance), while the virtuous Virgo is compact, organised and, dare I say, almost perfect in her nature.

··  To help the Goddess on her quest for perfection, this Full SuperMoon also conjuncts one of four ancient ‘guardians’, Royal Fixed Stars, Regulus. A heroic ‘Lion Heart’ star of the first magnitude, Regulus moved by precession into the sign of the Sacred Goddess, Virgo, in 2012.

Planets conjunct Regulus indicate valiant courage and supreme success. Regulus is the ‘Watcher of the North’, a direction associated with accomplishment and recognition. The Moon with Regulus tends to make women ambitious, highly-spirited and independent. There is, however, a caution to beware false friends and enemies. Wherever 0° Virgo lies in your own individual horoscope, it is where honour, wealth and brilliant feminine wisdom is often revealed and where there is also the potential for unbridled success – but only as long as the intention is pure; should the motivation be revenge or anger, any success is short-lived.

·· Another interesting observation is how this SuperMoon is in the position of being another ‘Handle’ or ‘Singleton’. In fact, for the first four Full Moons of 2019, the Moon is a stand-alone ‘singleton’ at these powerful solar-lunar moments, when consciousness aligns with the subconscious. With the Moon representing our sub-conscious, as a singleton it means sensitive but smart Luna intuitively grips the rest of the ‘bucket-shaped’ horoscope. As such, memories are based upon our feelings about certain events, people and/or things, which are held in sharper emotional focus, in this case in order to be rejuvenated, restored and revitalised.

In mundane astrology, the Moon represents ‘the people’, which is significant these days politically. The mood of the masses can now reveal a helpful and sensible feminine wisdom, also giving the general public enormous influence.

··  Also coinciding with the Full Super are two major long-term celestial influences now dramatically changing by leaving signs they will not visit again for 50 years – and more. How these changes impact upon our lives will rely upon several factors, including our ability to adapt and embrace alternatives and far-out tech, as well as poetry, music, dreams, sky-dancing and nature as personal medicine.

Time now to implement measures that quickly adjust the perception we have of ourselves in relationship, especially as an individual within our peer-connected friendship circle, to that of the Spiritual Healing Warrior.

Chiron in Aries
Check where Aries is in your chart: that’s where a Spiritual Healing Warrior is currently making a major shift, as asteroid Chiron flows from watery Pisces into fiery Aries. Chiron is a mythical centaur, a wild Shamanic out-cast; half-man, half-horse, Chiron’s wisdom is found in the healing arts. This astral alchemist will now stay in Aries, as the Spiritual Healing Warrior, to direct self-healing for seven years, leaving Summer Solstice 2026.

Now at 0° Aries, Chiron with Fixed Star ‘Sheat’ hones and trengthens the Shamanic Healer’s intellect, to think logically and clearly about what needs to be healed in our physical world, within the body, and psychologically, by how we present our egoic selves to the world, reconciling personal identity with personal values.

Noting now the Sun is at 0° Pisces, and how the collective psyche is deeply affected as the Wounded Healer leaves the sign of the fish. Although the negative side of Pisces is viewed as the zodiac’s garbage can, conjuring a vivid a picture of 7 billion of us disposing junk and whatnot into the sea, it’s bizarrely heartening that most of the planet can now see the reality of insidious chemicals and plastic polluting our precious water. Because now is the time for action, and to do something about it!

Bear in mind how the human body constitutes 65%+ water, and as the oceans become polluted so do we. While no one in their right mind would intend to create these poisonous environments, it appears we have accidentally and quite royally harmed ourselves - and every other being in the natural world. Thus, it has been the wizardry of the celestial Shaman, who has brought our attention to our dependency upon the toxic and our carelessness with water, land and air. Now, however, with Chiron’s move into Aries we can begin to rectify and heal our self and our personal identity as human: indeed, when we heal ourselves, we also contribute to healing the Earth.

There is a danger, however, of overwhelm when Piscean energy pervades; when it’s all too easy to seek oblivion and solace in drugs and alcohol etc. Beware of opting for the path of the sleepwalker it leads away from your authentic truth. Know that when we are willing to accept there are certain things we have no control over and just go with our personal flow, we can more easily induce an enlightened and peaceful state.

Uranus in Taurus
On the New Pisces Moon, March 6th (The same day Mercury goes retrograde!) inventive and revolutionary Uranus leaves Aries for 84 years, to move into the solid and determined Taurus for 7-ish years (until April 2016), from where this crazy humanitarian oddball will wield a dramatic and often extreme influence upon the simple Taurean value system: food, love, Earth, nature, finances are all bound to areas of sudden and dramatic change. And as Uranus is connected to technology, Taurean nature and weird Uranian machinery could even begin to merge so that ‘virtual reality’ itself develops a seriously mechanistic twist. Singularity, when robots and humans merge, may not be far away, not just strawberry-picking robots. Uranus is in detriment in Taurus, as the planet of invention and electricity buzzes erratically, which will certainly present new-fangled challenges for the more ordered and traditional Bull to consider.

Interestingly, dynamic Mars is in Taurus over this Full SuperMoon, acting as a slow and thoughtful reconnaissance for both visionary Uranus, with whom he travels, and his boss, the Sun, to which there is an easy opening sextile aspect that also boosts warrior Mars. Mars in Taurus tends to be seriously unflappable, even when immersed in the ‘wacky cult of busy’ Taurus finds the same steady joy in breathing fresh-air as in holding hands with his or her honey, or counting out money. Nonetheless, financial markets in commodities could start to see erratic swings, either way, up or down.

·· Two more planetary conjunctions also have an influence upon events over this Full Moon.

1) Mercury the messenger and dreamy Neptune are in mystical union in Pisces, and with Fixed Star, ‘Aschenar’. I have been watching this Fixed Star for a while now, as Neptune has a long orbit it can stay in similar degrees for almost a year, and conclude it brings up from the depths fast-moving events that can no longer sustain an illusion. And while aware all life IS an illusion (from Buddhist & Quantum point-of-view), we could still witness a threat of sudden endings to long-held dreams. If that is the case, over the coming weeks there could be an almighty scramble while Mercury goes retrograde from the 6th March until the 29th March. Including shadow period, i.e. for the next five week Mercury will conjunct Neptune three times, accenting the need for compassion at every turn, including for oneself. Mercury-Neptune helps to develop faith and breathe new life also into collective dreams. Rearrange thoughts and schedules if you have to – and learn to let go of this, that, and the other, which no longer serve higher truths.

2) The last astral activity of note over this SuperMoon involves a stellium between Venus, Saturn and Pluto, as a power trio in Capricorn (making an easy sextile to the above Mercury/Neptune conjunction that offers an escape route should Venus feel hemmed-in). Venus is the ruler of Taurus, the sign into which Uranus is moving, as such it’s key to watch Venus with Uranus over the coming years, as issues of (women’s) freedom and changes to our everyday values come to our attention. Venus is the planet which creates balance and harmony; currently flanked by both authoritative Saturn and Pluto, Venus likes to feel steady and holds with tradition, charming those with sway and control with beauty and brains, experience and dedication. There is also a mutual reception to take into account: Venus is in the sign of Mars’s exaltation – Capricorn; and Mars is in Venus’s home sign, Taurus; the cosmic lovers Venus and Mars can at least get along politely and connect diplomatically over a glass of something smooth, even if there are other kinds of high tension.

Time now to generate the positive altruistic intention!

Uranus in Taurus ~ Earth Magic 2018-2026

~> The New Moon @ 11:47UT in Taurus, 15th May 2018, was no regular New Moon, but one that only happens every 84 years, as it heralded the entrance of the ‘The Great Awakener’, Uranus, into Taurus. With a retrograde motion, however, Uranus dips into Aries, only to totally stir up the sign of the Bull from March 2019 until 2026.

Eccentric Uranus is the planet that shows how peer groups generate the altruistic intention together. i.e. how does each friendship group make the world a more humanitarian and better place. In Taurus, the sign of values and security, food and love, Uranus bring sudden changes to the every day world we value: there will be a more communal style of living, in simpler circumstances: collective farming, for instance, and this could become popular - or necessary - in order to counteract the pollution from industrial agricultural-business.

Spacy Uranus likes cool clarity, representing the singularly unusual, the radical or odd one out. As such, Uranus is wildly unpredictable. With an 84-year cycle it was last in no-nonsense Taurus in 1935. Uranus also has a dictatorial streak, as seen in the period 35-42, when it was last in Taurus, which was not a good time for a generation living with a world war and industrial genocide, the policy of one of the world’s most feared Taureans, Hitler. I pray this time around we will not experience collective suffering, nor on such a scale.

Uranus is a 'generational' planet, with a seven-year influence in each sign. In Taurus, the lush fertile sign that pushes gently up from the earth, growing food and flowers, stability and security, beauty and bounty are going to need the humanitarian focus. Taurus can be greedy and stubborn, but with the technologically inclined Uranus in the sign of the Bull, it brings changes to our awareness of the physical world, from our homes and gardens, to the fields and forests, and even to our actual body’s biological energy field and how buzzy we get from being surrounded by electricity. It’s interesting how we are all so connected with wifi and the internet, sometimes even against our will; now that Uranus in coming into Taurus this becomes a global concern. While there is nothing that replaces a relationship with real hugs, virtual reality and singularity (when humans and robots merge) could also be reached. So far I've seen sex-robots advertised, robots reading the news, robot weather girls and even a robot Zen monk! The world could rapidly become an alien place for anyone over 50!

Over the next seven years, earthy Taurus will continue to be highly charged by electrical and experimental Uranus. Space missions concentrate upon making money, as well as science. This is cosmically bound to be a major period of innovation within our everyday world. Uranian events come from out of the blue and happen suddenly: we could even see Earth shift, with quakes and electrical accidents. We can, however, expect to see quantum leaps towards alternatives in agriculture, finances, and medical plants. Uranus in Taurus also brings to light ‘Earth Magic’; as a zappy planet manifesting a highly-charged seven year astrological signature for kindred spirits and teams that inspire altruism and interconnections.

Perhaps this is even the '5d ascension' the New Age talks about, in as much as thoughts and intentions connecting at the same frequency within the noosphere can create a postitive ‘grid’ around the world. From my Buddhist point of view, this is more to do with resonating with the light of Buddha nature, our innate natural radiance, connecting heart to heart, to raise the collective altruistic intention to put wisdom into action.

As Uranus moves from self-orientated Aries we leave behind an up-front ‘selfie’ society, to discover and experience dramatic changes within the realms of Taurean self-worth, and all that we cherish, be it love, money, security, things, ideas or perhaps more importantly, nature and connection with our environment.

From an esoteric spiritual point-of-view, Uranus highlights the selfless humanitarian, wanting to make the world a better place for all beings. And as with all slow-moving, generational planets, Uranus will take a while to really take hoof-hold in the sign of the Bull. This planet of dramatic change (that can be extremely disruptive when negatively expressed) dips back into Aries when retrograde from Nov 7th 2018 –> March 6th 2019, from when Uranus will stay in Taurus until April 2026.

During these coming years we have the planets on side to embody the heavens as well as create radical change to our current value systems. With the innate healing and nurturing power of Mother Earth, in all her glorious abundance and ability to adapt and change, we can also see the value in being aligned heart-t-heart- with kindred spirits.
 🙏

The New Moon May '18 also heralded the start of the month of Saka Dawa, celebrating the life, enlightenment and paranirvana of the historical Lord Buddha, Gothama Shaykyamuni. If ever there was a good omen to the start of a 7-8 year cycle, its having the blessings of the historical Buddha, who, by the way, was also a Taurus.

🙏

Uranus & Venus =
The Freedom-Closeness dilemma
&

One last point to cover is how important it is to see how Venus, the planet which rules Taurus interacts with Uranus when Uranus makes this change of sign. The the combination of these two planets creates what my teacher, Howard Sasportas, would call ‘the freedom-closeness’ dilemma, i.e. we like get up-front and personal, while at the same time needing our own space. Judging by the connections Uranus and Venus make during the dance between Aries-Taurus and Gemini, this dilemma of finding personal space is a major issue.

For instance, during the first stage, May ’18, Uranus in Taurus sextile the late degrees Venus in Gemini, suggesting communication skills are feminine but superficial and may not yet understand the complexity of love among friends, family and fellow kindred spirits. Because of retrogrades, Uranus backtracks into Aries, with a second crossing from Uranus in Taurus, 6th November 2018, witness' another Air sign Venus, this time at home in Libra, also in late degrees, making an opposition to liberating Uranus, thus ramping-up the freedom-closeness dilemma to bring home the need for personal space. Thirdly, on March 6th, there is a mutual reception between the two planets, as Venus in Aquarius is in the sign ruled by Uranus; all the while Uranus in Taurus is in the sign ruled by Venus.

Personal freedoms, personal pay, women’s rights and human rights are all subjects that come to mind, along with concerns about the ‘idea’ of love, as opposed the actual ‘physical’ closeness of love.

To end the long 7-8 year transit of Uranus in Taurus, as it goes into Gemini, July 7th 2025, Venus is actually conjunct Uranus in Gemini. The 2nd hit, 8th November, sees Uranus in Gemini about to go back into Taurus throwing a magical bi-quintile (144°) to Venus, and making another ‘mutual reception’ as Venus, although in her fall, will be in the sign of Uranus’ exaltation, Scorpio. And lastly in April 2026, Uranus will have left Taurus to enter Gemini for seven years, accompanied by Venus by his side once again. I find this interesting, but it does indicate that we need to take our time in many relationships, time to study the body, the land and finances, not least those connections which involve collective, mass communication.

To be honest, when Uranus left Pisces and went into Aries, like many others, I was blown away by what happened Fukashima, and life how really changed for many of the living beings on the planet, as that radiation still spills into the ocean 7-8 years later!

One last note comes with a quote from Australian astrologer Maggie Merlin Kerr, who says Uranus in Taurus is 'liberation from attachment'. I like to think of this from a Buddhist perspective. To this we could also add 'Freedom from desire'. To liberate our heart-mind, both in joy or suffering, without becoming attached to the desire or create aversion to the outcome would truly be Uranus in Taurus.  Once we intend to release ourselves from those tricky emotions, aversion and attachment, then we might say we really are baby bodhisattvas, able to take small steps and complete the path to liberation, and become the living embodiment of Moksha.
